This isn't some Michelin star restaurant. It's a broken down food truck with a giant barrel smoker in a gravel lot. Meat is cooked with no rub or marinade which is fine because the hickory smoke is the seasoning. Most times the ribs are a bit dry, but if you're not a prick, the sauce makes up for it. It's tomato based and heavily spiced with cinnamon and pepper... Delicious. If you are a prick, you'll still love the smoked sausage. If you're a big sides guy like me, their potato salad is some of the best I've had. Mayo based but also vinegar, and sweet relish for extra zing. Slaw is good. Beans are good. Peach cobbler is pretty basic sloppy homestyle stuff. Not my favorite but my parents and grandparents dig it when they are in town. I serve it with vanilla ice cream at home. Don't let the yelp snobs scare you away from a good experience. Go try it for yourself.

It's always a good sign when you pull up to your BBQ restaurant and see a semi truck sized smoker sitting out front indicating that professionals are nearby. Ordered the full rack, fried pickles, beans, potato salad, and a chicken salad for the toddler in the group and everything was great. The full rack of ribs were brontosaurus sized and feed three of easily with our sides and gave leftovers. The ribs were awesome, had a nice crust, and fall off the bone juiciness. Their sauce is served on the side and includes a spicy version which I really enjoyed. As with most BBQ places, the focus is on their craft so inside is a bit small and under appointed, but they have a bunch of picnic tables out front scattered under the trees. Service was quick and friendly and saw many people pick up and walk out with sandwiches quicker than most fast food joints.
