They were very reliable and responsive from the beginning and not to mention, one of the best prices I was quoted. It was $150 for two cleaners for 2 hours and they were so generous enough to give a discount of $25. We will definitely be using them again and recommending to all our friends and family! I physically handed the housekeepers the non toxic cleaner to use. I came back 90 minutes later and they had effectively destroyed my home. Everything was sopping wet with some terrible smelling cleaner. My feet burned from walking on my floors, so I went to wash them off in the bathtub. There was even more of the caustic chemicals in the tub, so my feet burned worse. My eyes burned, my lungs burned, my throat burned. I spoke Spanish to the housekeepers, so I know they understood me. They did a bad job dusting, my pots were wet, but still dirty. They piled up so many wet pots on my cast iron skillet that it rusted. It's ruined. I had to have an emergency TaskRabbit come over to move two pieces of very heavy furniture to plug lamps and other electronics back in. The TaskRabbit re-cleaned everything. He got a LOT of dog hair and dirt up. I almost had to go to a hotel. My blinds still won't close. When I complained, they tried to tell me that I don't even HAVE blinds. I am an immune-compromised cancer patient. My husband was out of town. They are refusing to give me a refund. They are claiming they tried to come over, but they are NOT acting in good faith. read more

Not only did they accommodate me last minute (book in advance, their ladies are prompt but it's nicer to book ahead), but they did an AMAZING job deep cleaning for a VERY VERY affordable price. I hope this review helps people save their time and money by staying away from this company. I've noticed a theme with the reviews on the this page. Seems like they send out their best people and do the most thorough job their first few times with a new home/client. Then, once they've received a good review or repeat business, they COMPLETELY let go of any card for professionalism, respect and work ethic. The first few times they cleaned my place they arrived on time or even early, and the job was done *relatively* well. Then they started sending out people that would arrive an hour or two earlier than the agreed upon time or hours late with very little to no warning or text interaction. They've messaged me from nearly a dozen different numbers asking me the same questions over and over, like if I would move my appointment time after I I'd already scheduled and confirmed with someone on another number. Also most times when they arrive they seem annoyed, stressed and not prepared or at all happy to do their jobs. You just never know who you're talking to or what kind of service you're going to get. Also you never know what they will ask for pricE wise. Depending on the person cleaning I would be asked to pay anywhere from $130 to $175, for a very mediocre cleaning of my small apartment. read more

This is absolutely the worst cleaning company ever! Their cleaners used steel wool on every single appliance and shower fixture we own (on a newly remodeled house!!). They placed our Wolf range grates on our newly installed cast iron white sink and scrubbed and scrubbed, scratching and discoloring the entire sink! They ruined our newly installed garbage disposal by getting steel wool in it. We had to install a new one! And they're not insured in a way that actually covers what you'd think it covers.m. They use an insurance company called Western World Insurance. This was the response from the insurance company when I tried to file a claim: "There are exclusions on the policy that limit coverage. This is by far the WORST cleaning service EVER. I hired them based on their reviews on YELP 1. they kept postponing their arrival time. They didn't contact me, I contacted them, 2. I was quoted $75 an hour with a minimum of $100 3. I booked for 2 1/2 hours 4. They came and said they were done after 1 hour and 15 minutes...I told them I hired them for 2 1/2 hours, they told me...OH NO, THAT'S PER MAID. 5. They wanted CASH for payment. They didn't accept VenMO.I told them I'd have to write a check. At first they told me to make it Lety's Maids. Then they told me to make it out to CASH.......which I did NOT 6. Also, have the whole incident on tape if anyone needs further proof of how this situation was handled and the truth. So initially, I was going to give a 4 star rating because they missed spots and showed up 45 mins earlier than the time I was quote. They had to come back and still didn't do the whole job. Ok not a huge deal. But what happened next was just unnecessary and a pain. I was putting away the dishes they'd washed the next morning when I found a broken measuring spoon. I reached out to Lety's Maid service via Yelp to inquire about pricing and services and Esmeralda was very responsive. I messaged her over the weekend and she was available the following week. She answered all my questions quickly. The pricing was incredibly fair and I was quoted for only 2 cleaners, but when 3 showed up, I was still only charged for the 2 that were quoted. They showed up within the hour window they provided and they got right to work. I was home while they cleaned and they were friendly and respectful. I have a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home that's about 1000 sq. ft. They cleaned all, including the tile in bathroom, microwave in kitchen and vacuumed and mopped all the floors. I will certainly be using their services again! read more

She sent a crew of three nice and happy ladies to clean my house; they finished in less than 2 hrs, for $150. The only reason I will knock off one star is the cleaning product they use left a strong smell in my house. Otherwise I would recommend them for sure! read more

Not sure what happened to this company but they have deteriorated rapidly! Used them for a apartment cleaning about a year ago and were ok. They answered phone calls, they returned messages, were able to schedule appointment on same day as you called, were very responsive to customer calls and texts they did the basics. This is 3rd time in a week contacting them. Now they use website for everyone. I used their website to book 2 appointments for a house and a apartment and all I got was automated bot text message saying they will reach out to confirm. This was a week ago. Tried calling and leaving messages still no one answered or called back. This is trash customer service. They have 4 different numbers to contact! How do you have a booking service on your website where it doesnt confirm appointments? How do you not call back or return messages to customers? I'm so shocked by how unprofessional the owner of this company is. She sent a crew over that basically let water run outside of the shower from the doors onto the floor which then leaked down into our kitchen ceiling and now there are visible signs of a leak on the ceiling in the kitchen. When I reached out to complain about this, instead of being professional and polite or even apologetic she was so extremely rude and said that the picture I sent her was not enough to show her that there had been a leak. Awful! I called and was very impressed with Brian who explained everything to me, but then it went downhill fast! I had to change my day and had already received confirmation for the incorrect date! After having to go through all the info again and finally making sure That I had 3 people with the organic product coming I felt some relief! The day of, only 2 ladies showed up who either didn't care or were just slow and not great at all! The house was vacant so it should have been easy but apparently it was not! I'm appalled at how my house was "cleaned". I called in and got a same day appointment. Great! Well I should've wondered why that was possible since everyone else was booked. Well they came in and I asked them to do the rooms first. My husband had surgery and needs a clean bedroom. They literally dusted and vacuumed. That's it! They didn't use furniture cleaner until I pointed it out to them. Then they half assed it and went on their way. I cannot believe how bad a job they did. ***UPDATE*** This company would have had my vote if they did not reply trying to lie. They were very good with trying to cover the tracks and come back in to clean. The very first time I asked for a appointment, cleared my day and they said they would be there AT 3pm and would spend a hour on my house, leaving at 4pm. I called them no answer, I yelped them no answer. 3:30 hits I get a call from the manager or owner stating he did not know that his maids did not show up and that they were stuck at other house. Mentioning that he is at the office so he was not aware. To me... as a owner or manger you should know where your maids are. Fast forward... they come back and call me AFTER I leave a review. They say I get a free cleaning, I was at work so my sister was there and let them in. When I came home I see cob webs in the bathroom, oven not cleaned, bottom of the fridge has food (remind you.. I'm asking for a move in cleaning, I have not used the fridge yet) I wasn't going to come back on here and mention how the my "free cleaning" was bad. He called me again, stating they can come back and touch it up. I agreed, they finally cleaned the over and cob webs (I already cleaned fridge because I wanted my food in there) So it's hilarious to see the owner or manger come back and try and cover tracks when I have the yelp messages stating he did not know his maid were on time Should of listened to all of the reviews. tl:dr; Used to be good (two years ago) but the quality has gone down. Punctuality has never been good, the guy who manages the bookings is frustrating, and last visit they damaged things. === I've been using these guys once a month for almost 2 years now, but last visit was the final straw. My wife has banned me from using Lety's going forward :-( The problem is you'll get a new crew everytime. Most of them have no training. Usually nobody will speak any english which could be a problem for some (I can manage with a little help from Google). They also love to rearrange your stuff which drives me crazy. Anyways, last week they broke a lamp and spilled bleach on a towel. My wife found her wet bathing suits in the kids lego box. And they rearranged my sons room for no logical reason. I should add that cleaners will break things, I get it. But the fact that they tried to hide the damage and claim ignorance was really off-putting and shows a real lack of integrity. Ps. Turn off the Yelp sort and filter by newest or check Google reviews. Lety's, like a lot of businesses on Yelp, pays to play. Pps. I'm thinking of starting a cleaning company that only cleans floors, walls, counters and kitchens and bathrooms. I'll call it the "Big Stuff". We were looking to hire maids for cleaning services once every week (paying cash) just to maintain the home since our schedules are hectic. I'm sure that is why most people seek maid services these days. So our home is a 2 bd, 2.5 bth with hardwood floors throughout the entire home. I do have to say the FIRST cleaning was very good! They "Wow'd me"..... But let me tell you why I rated them at 3-stars. After the first cleaning, I felt confident hiring them again for the next week. If they clean just as good as the first I would be a loyal customer from here on out! Well... the SECOND hire was not as satisfying or consistent compared to the first job. -The mirror in the downstairs bathroom was left with blurry streaks on it. -The master bathroom mirror was left with a hand print on it which indicates the entire mirror was not whipped down and cleaned properly. (The handprint was left internationally by us to check if this is getting done.) -There was floor crumbs and dust mites left in the corners and along the hallways. -The entertainment center in the living room was left with dust behind the TV. So it was dusted where you can see but I check everything especially places where dust builds up.) The first time the maids cleaned the floors, Diana (one of the maids whom was very nice and did a good job!) she said they use with a special cleaner for the hardwood floors. It left the floors with a nice polish. I was impressed! The second clean, it seems that "special cleaner" was not used which makes me question how they cleaned the floors the second time. Now, a representative did follow up to see how the services went. Which was nice of them to check. I notified them of the disappointments and they did offer to come back out but were not home. The rep said they would look into which crew went out there that day and the next time they will have a different crew do my area. Regardless of the area, each crew should ALWAYS be consistent on their cleaning. I know every company has certain expectations, every employee representing the company should be properly trained to maintain a good service and reputation. Especially if you are paying a company to clean your home, you expect a good service right!? The lack of effort cleaning someone's home or doing short-cuts to finish quicker is not ok. I was hoping to give you a wonderful review and show support for them on yelp. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I may have to reconsider using Lety's Cleaning Services again. read more

I contacted Lety's for a full house cleaning and was disappointed. First of all, I booked a 7:30 appointment and I got a text the night before saying that the crew could not show up until 9-10. I moved some things at work to accommodate that and waited for the crew the next morning. At 10:15, I texted to see where they were and was told they were finally on their way. When the crew showed up, they seemed exhausted and unhappy to be at my house. They confirmed that they just cleaned another house at 7:30. The only communication that I got from the company during the cleaning was about payment. They were insistent on me paying quickly so I paid over PayPal. When I got home, I was dismayed to see that the crew had broken the door to our washer/dryer area and had also ripped up part of the carpet in our bedroom. No one contacted us to let us know that. I left the crew with my cell number in case there were any issues or concerns and there was no call. Also, the company never contacted me after the cleaning to get my reaction. Maybe they already knew that I was going to be unhappy. read more

Hired them for a 1 hr 40 min/2 maid clean. The first time they came they were wonderful. The second time there was a miscommunication, but the owner remedied the situation and was communicative, which I appreciate. The crews know what and where to clean and do a good job if you just leave them be. But if you tell them exactly what areas need extra attention, the crews will listen and do a great job. I had an open house scheduled for a property I manage and scheduled Lety's service a day before the open house but no one showed and apparently the manager had given a wrong address to the cleaning crew. Mistakes do happen but the problem got worse when I received a call from the management asking to take down the negative review literally 3 seconds after I had posted on Yelp. The entire day I was not able to reach him trying to figure out when the cleaning crew would arrive, he was gonna call me with an arrival time but never did until I got his attention from Yelp. He offered to send someone out first thing in the morning to get the job done and offered a discount. The crew showed up on time but just in case I brought my own cleaning supplies... I can upload some pictures showing the difficulty I had trying to communicate with the management and rudeness I had received back. Yes, the manager gave me a discount to make up for not showing up but let's be clear I never asked for a discount. All I wanted was a simple apology but instead, the manager gave me a personal insult and harassment. Updated review as of June 6. Previously gave 5 stars because they did a good job the first time. The past 2 times have been horrible. These photos are a sample of how our sinks and floors were left. The customer service offered a discounted second service for a better crew. This means they knew the crew they sent weren't great and want us to pay?! We spent 4 hours cleaning ourselves this morning to prepare for a photo shoot for listing our place. We left them a note in both Spanish and English detailing the tasks we needed done in each room for the photographer. None of these things were out of the norm; they were basic cleaning tasks. They obviously didn't read the list. The wiped the table, made the bed, loaded the dishwasher, sort of cleaned the floors, took their check and left. Contacted Lety's to do move in/move out cleaning last week. They quoted for 1.5h -2hrs for $150. The crew came and "did the job" according to them. It is my fault that I couldn't be there with them to see "WHAT" they are actually doing.. but with the baby i thought it is better to be not in the house.. anyways, on the next day I arrived at the property, I was shocked. NOTHING was cleaned up. Kitchen cabinet, counter, sink, floors were all disgusting. I opened the cabinets and I found three spider with tons of spiderwebs.. I called and wanted to have this corrected, they return the phone call the next day. They asked me to text them the pictures so I did as soon as I hung up the phone. I have used Lety's House Cleaning three times total. The first time they did a good job. It's the second and third time that were not good: - Second time, I paid for them to clean for 3 hours. They left after 2 1/2 hours, leaving a few carpets not vacuumed and various cleaning items left around the house. I told the owner what had happened and he told me the next time they came, that he'd make sure they stayed the extra half an hour. - Third time, not only did they not stay the extra half an hour I had paid for the last time, but they left after 2 hours and 15 mins. A complete waste of money. Also, I don't speak Spanish - so it was very hard communicating to tell them what I needed cleaning. I'd assumed they didn't need instructions, since it's their job, but they did. Again, a few rooms left in a mess. I cannot keep paying for 3 hours and getting massively short changed, especially for a mediocre job. The two stars is because the first time they did a good job. After going through several different cleaning services, we've been using Lety's for over a year and a half now and they've been great! Price is very reasonable and they send a team of 3 people which I love as they're done in about an hour and leave the place looking spotless (2 bed/2 bath house). At least one person on the crew always speaks english (I know that matters to some people), and they've always done an excellent job following whatever instructions we give them (there are a few things I like done a certain way). There have been a couple of times (very rarely) when they've been running late or there's been a schedule mixup but lately the crew has been texting me when they're on the way, which is super helpful. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I noticed they give $20 off if you mention their negative review (text yelpreview20) and if you're a first time customer. Strange that they try to counter negative reviews with money. In any case, I didn't want to influence their work so I paid full price ($125) plus $30 tip ($10 pp). The ladies did a decent job with the cleaning. They missed a few obvious areas I had to point out, so I'd give them four stars. For example, they missed the blinds and a large stain on the floor. But besides that, they were pretty thorough. Our place was already pretty clean so there wasn't really much to do. We just wanted to make our place was extra clean before our newborns came home. Which brings me to my second point. Before I booked my appointment, I made sure that the owner Esmeralda knew to tell the crew we wanted only natural based products. I even emphasized before confirming that it was VERY important to us. She said 'of course' and that she will make sure. Guess what. The crew arrived today with no knowledge of my request. They scrambled back to their car and retrieved a few things that were acceptable. When you make a request and it is acknowledged, you expect them to follow through. Not in this case. I even texted the owner when it happened and no response. If it wasn't for the workers who were great, I would give less stars. Not using this place again.
