This was our first visit to this diner in mid afternoon. The space is large with various areas of booths and some tables. Our server, Courtney was pleasant and attentive. The menu is extensive. We had a hard time choosing. There are lunch specials, dinner specials, senior menu, and breakfast all day. I decided on a cranberry chicken salad wrap which was very good, except it had diced tomatoes which I do not want and had to do surgery to extract them. I have not previously had tomatoes IN chicken salad. Slices on the bread, yes, which I request they leave off. So if you don't mind that ingredient then you will find this a tasty choice. My partner ordered the ham and bean soup, always her favorite. It had vegetables throughout, carrots aplenty. Normally ham and bean soup is ham, beans, broth. Vegetables not needed or wanted. Essentially this chef adds unwanted (to us) items to menu staples, which may not bother most people. For me it reminds me of trying to use up leftovers by adding them to other items. The place is very accessible, bathroom accessible, and clean. Owners or staff do smoke right outside the front door. Parking lot is large. Price point very affordable. Our total before tip was $35. With so many menu choices I am sure we will add this eatery to our rotation.

I was hungry for a good meal so I went here. Being Tuesday, it was all you can eat chicken and waffles. You could smell how good the waffle was going to taste! And was the meal excellent? Yes it was. The waitress was very friendly and courteous. Comfortable seating and clean restrooms. Whenever I'm in Mt. Joy, I stop in. Good comfort food.

My favorite diner. Food is always cooked perfectly and served promptly. Their burgers and French fries are the best around!

Maybe saying on the menu that the crab cake contains Old Bay, since so many people have a allergy to it.

It came with 4 chops and a strange side that couldn't be quite identified. It was sort of like a bread product shaped like a triangle, very dry and an unpleasant texture for us. The excellent chop saved the day. One main course was the pork ribs. The serving was very generous, the meat so tender it literally did fall off all the bones, and the smoky flavor quite good. The pulled pork sandwich was generously filled and had the same smoky flavor. The sides chosen were potato salad and beans. The beans were okay but did taste like canned ones and had very little meat in them. The potato salad was fine for those who like theirs with big chunks of potato, but we prefer a smoother potato. It was a disappointment. The desserts chosen were both a huge disappointment. The peach cobbler tasted like canned peaches and had a very off-putting flavor. The apple bread pudding was literally almost all bread and had far too large chunks of the bread rather than preferred small pieces. As for the apple, it could not be tasted at all and we only found one very small piece of apple in the large serving. I will say that the Cinnamon ice cream that came with the pudding was delicious and at least gave us one decent sweet item. All in all, we might try again (especially for the lamb chops) but will not be in any hurry.

Dave was very timely during the delivery and even brought chafing dishes to keep the food warm. We went off menu and ordered "trays/lbs" of food. The pulled pork and chicken were amazing. We have a chef in my group that is picky about bbq and he was raving. The wings also had an excellent crisp to the outside. We had an employee try the sweet potato souffle for the first time and loved the "dessert" option :) Very happy to support this local business.

We got the cucumber wasabi, citrus explosion I think it was called, and their dry rub curry wings. The cucumber wasabi surprised all of us, as we were originally skeptical of the flavor. The creaminess really balanced out the wasabi. I would definitely order this again. The citrus wings tasted like any other sweet-based wing sauce, we didn't taste much of the citrus. The curry wings were probably the worst. They mostly just tasted like turmeric. They have lots of fun and unique flavors and it's a fun experience. Some of the flavors are clearly just a random thing thrown on, like peanut butter and jelly, but I think that's all part of the fun! The waitress was nice. The ambience is basically just like a day bar. I do wish our table was a little cleaner but they were busy that day, so I can understand.

The hotel attached to the brewery doesn't have bathrooms in the rooms, but shared bathrooms elsewhere; so we opted for the place that they also own across the street that did have its own bathroom. The apartment we stayed in was called the Louisa Frank suite. The mansion has 3 apartments in it. I picked Louisa because I liked the 50s vibe it had. The place is a little worn (like the mattresses and some furnishings), but we still loved it. We had dinner reservations in the catacombs. The waiter seemed kind of lost and unsure of himself, and the food is pretty average, but it's still worth going to see. Set your expectations reasonably regarding food quality and lodging, but go for the experience because it's unlike anything else you'll ever do.

Had the pappardella primavera, wasn't bad and probably my favorite but more of the same cooked tomatoes here. Such a cool experience otherwise. IG: @lanco.food.dude
