    Gluten free bread
    Samantha A.

Of all the Cameron Mitchell restaurants, this is my favorite for gluten free pasta. I am gluten free & can only eat A2 dairy (goat; sheep; buffalo). I felt very accommodated at Cento. Our server was very knowledgeable and made sure the chef was aware of my sensitivities. I love my options here and everything is always plated so beautifully! Prices are a bit higher, but the atmosphere and service make it worth it. My only complaint is the service fee, which we were charged as a group of 6.

Upon entry, this place was warm, inviting and somewhat romantic. The food was absolutely delicious We enjoyed a few dishes and some amazing wines paired with a Somalian for guidance The waiter we had was very engaging and efficient. He was very knowledgeable in the flavors and offered his favorites as well. I would definitely come back here!! Especially during the holiday since the decor is so warm and very present I would also like to stop here in the summer to enjoy the outside patio and bar. We were sat in the winterized version of the patio which was perfectly heated and comfortable. I was even offered a blanket while we dined . Just a lovely quaint, cutie place. Must GO and I can't wait to taste the whole menu!!! Bon appetite

My husband and I dined here last night and it was amazing from start to finish. First off the vibes are absolutely impeccable. From the heated patio, greenery, and crystal chandeliers. It's just gorgeous! Great spot for a rehearsal dinner, graduation celebrations, or special date nights. As parents that work full time my husband and I rarely go out to dinner so this was such a special treat. Raymar was our server and he took excellent care of us. He recommended the Stuffed Pappardelle, and Heirloom Beets and my husband had a Caesar salad to start. My husband had the Scarpinocc as an entree without meat and I had a truffle scallop pasta that I can't remember the name of but was phenomenal. We got arancini and a chocolate hazelnut torte to go which were also delicious. Also, we don't drink but we had a few mocktails and have to recommend the N/A espresso martini and amaretto sour. Thank you Raymar and Cento!

Definitely a 5 star restaurants! The pasta was delicious, the level of authenticity was out of this world. I had the King Crab Tagliatelle, exceptional tender crab meat. The Chicken Parmesan has burrata cheese, AMAZING! Add bonus is you get plenty of food, for the price. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy intimate with low lighting. The experience was just relaxing, I'll definitely be back.

My first visit here. Excellent restaurant in German Village. Lovely ambiance, and very good service. During this visit, we shared the Beef Carpaccio, which was a bit on the heavy side, but tasty. For the main meal, I wanted something light, so I got the black cod. Oh, man, it was outstanding with a great broth, Oh, and they also make a mean dirty martini. A bit on the pricey side but definitely worth a return visit.

I've been to numerous Italian restaurants over the years, but few impressed me the way Cento did. My wife and I came here to celebrate Valentine's Day, and it was an ideal spot to do so. The ambiance was classy and romantic, and the Italian vibes were prevalent, as well. The tomato focaccia & garlic bread was a great way to start the meal. I didn't necessarily favor one over the other. However, I found the inclusion of the tomato focaccia to be unique. For our appetizers, we ordered arancini and meatballs. The tallegio cheese and summer truffles the arancini were topped with were a nice touch, but it was the creamy sauce that made the dish remarkable. The meatballs were higher quality than average, and tender. As for our entrees, we got the rigatoni alla vodka and the veal parmesan. The rigatoni was lightly dressed and delightful overall. Having said that, I actually preferred the pasta al forno the veal parmesan came with. This was to die for. It was rich, and the cheese utilized had a sharp undertone. Lastly, the veal parmesan. Not only was it a generous portion, it was one of the best veal dishes I've had. This alone was worth coming here for, especially considering it came with the pasta al forno. What more can I say? Cento is the only Italian restaurant I've been to in Columbus so far, and it's hard to imagine there's one better. Time will tell!

Cento is easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in German Village. From start to finish, everything was executed with style and warmth. The martinis were spot-on -- perfectly chilled, balanced, and the kind you sip slowly because you don't want them to end. The wait staff couldn't have been friendlier, striking that rare balance of professional and genuinely welcoming. They kept the evening flowing without ever feeling rushed. Food-wise, it was one showstopper after another. The halibut was absolute perfection -- flaky, tender, and seasoned just right. The round lasagna towers were not only beautiful to look at but incredibly rich and comforting. The chicken was cooked exactly as it should be: juicy on the inside with that perfect finish. And then came dessert... all of them amazing. The affogato poured tableside added a little bit of ceremony to the sweetness, and the pannacotta made for the perfect birthday surprise -- light, creamy, and elegant. Cento delivers on every level: atmosphere, service, food, and those little special touches that turn dinner into a celebration. A true gem in German Village, and one I can't wait to revisit.

Alright Cento, I see you! It was tucked away in the most adorable little spot. The staff was incredibly nice, as they always are at a Cameron Mitchell restaurant, you truly cannot get any better. It was so vibey. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back for dinner. We sat on the heated patio for a few drinks for his birthday. He had a couple old fashions he loved. I had a dirty martini that wasn't amazing, with a nasty olive. How can you mess that up?! It was barely dirty by any means. I tried something different to redeem the first drank. I made the right choice. The espresso martini was the best I have ever had. Not creamy, do dark, so flavorful. It was just what I needed. I will be back for MORE. What an amazing night. I appreciate everything you do! It was decorated very hot and sexy inside.

    Bolognese, spicy rigatoni and meatball!

Really really amazing experience!! From the start when you walk in you already know it's a beautiful vibe, the ivy covered walkway is so cute and the patio is awesome. Once inside, it's a very intimate and classy vibe, you definitely feel like you are in for a fancy experience. Service was fantastic, got a really good wine suggestion, table-side presentation, and just felt really well taken care of. Plus everything was very well-paced course-wise! Food was all incredible. We got the burrata, the bread basket, the bolognese and the spicy rigatoni. Everything was fabulous. Burrata was creamy and delicious and the tableside presentation made it feel extra special. The bread that came with that was so so so good, almost preferred it to the garlic bread in the basket. The tomato focaccia was great and tasted like pizza bread. Both pastas were fantastic, I ordered the rigatoni and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Wish I had asked for red pepper flakes to add but the sauce was so silky and flavorful and there were generous pieces of shrimp in it as well! Tasted some of the bolognese, loved the cavatelli noodles and the meat was very tender and rich. We also ordered a meatball which was good, not the best one I've ever had but very delicious, marinara was almost a little sweet but in a good way. Leftover pasta tasted just as good at midnight after going out for Halloween the next night too haha, the true hallmark of quality! Absolutely loved it for a special occasion and would love to go back!

Another fantastic restaurant right in German Village! Cento not only lives up to the hype, but completely blows it out of the water; this place is the real deal! The outside patio atmosphere feels like you're in Italy, the service is absolutely amazing, and every single dish is made from scratch. You will seriously be floored with how perfect everything tastes. If you are in the mood for Italian or are looking for a great date spot, look no further, Cento will not let you down!

Met a a group of friends for a little birthday gathering. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We ordered a bunch of apps to share and some main dishes and pastas. This place is the whole experience and the atmosphere is eloquent and inviting. It was lovely evening out and can't wait to come back.

Cento is definitely one of the top Italian restaurants to visit in Columbus. The building Cento is located in has a history dating back to 1904. They restored the restaurant to a cozy contemporary place. Tucked in German Village will you find Cento. Valet is available along with street parking around with a small walk. The restaurant has an indoor dining area and a semi enclosed patio, both with bar seating. Inside you will also find high top, low top and booth seating. I sat at a semi circle booth near the bar inside. It was kinda noisy. Lighting was minimal for dinner with a few candles lit around and a small table light giving a romantic and cozy vibe. Let me start by saying I am reducing the alcohol I am consuming and its been a struggle when going out with friends and the feeling of missing out. Cento made it an amazing experience for me by providing a variety of spritless options. A whole backside of a menu worth of options. I was able to order a few drinks that drank like a cocktail and made me feel inclusive at tonight's dinner with friends. I didn't even miss the alcohol. If your sober curious, this is the place for you. Okay, the food and tonight's highlight. From start to finish our table had the Fritto Misto, the main course of the daily specials, King Crab Tagliatelle and dessert, Chocolate Hazelnut Torte. The portions were not extravagant but the flavor did not miss. Every bit was savored and the quality of the ingredients shined. Perfectly executed. The service was great from the initial greeting at the host stand, the bartenders at the bar and our server. We can't wait to come back to experience Cento again.

Location/Restaurant; Located in German Village, parking could be tricky, Valet if available. This place is the cutest inside and outside, the patio was a hit when we walked in but we opted to celebrate Fathers Day inside. I get Mothers Day and Fathers Day to celebrate. Inside is super cute with the portraits down to the little lamps. Food; If you love Artichoke hearts, you will fall in love with the their appetizer, Holy Delicious, crisp and tasty, the sauce the hearts lay on was scrumptious. Also, Yummy is the whipped ricotta. My main entrée was the rolled lasagna, and may be one of the best lasagna versions I have had. The pasta was not to thick and melted in your mouth. I did order the Martini, which was perfect. Service; Our service was top notch, our server Theresa R. was great.

It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.

That being said, upon opening the door we were told we couldn't come in without masks. Mine was in my pocket, no problem. I haven't left my home (in Tennessee) often enough since the beginning of the virus for it to become habit to automatically put on a mask when I get out of my vehicle. But 9/10 times I remember before entering a public place. The male bartender just seemed rude in the way he told us to put one one. I had read the raving reviews, and being a Yelp Elite myself I know I can and do trust their reviews above others. So....I was really looking forward to trying something new and enjoy watching a bartender do their thing. The bartender pointed to two framed menus on top of a cooler containing seltzer's and canned drinks, and some glass bottles of pre-made cocktails, I think. I would've appreciated the bartender ask me what I liked, and help me decide, but it was easier for him to point to the sign. Customer service absolutely sucked hippo balls. I asked if I could just order a Knob Creek and Coke in a short glass, and a Blanton's for my hubs. Sure!! What I got was a shot of each in a to-go plastic condiment container with a lid, and two big paper go cups (like Burger King) of ice, and a can of Coke, which I told him never mind I had a soda in the truck. We also got two bags of Cheeto's, to make the sale legal. So....we poured our bourbons over the ice in the paper cups. I drank a few sips of mine, yum, even in paper. My husband was just about to take a sip and noticed something stuck in his ice that looked just like a maggot. He walked back across the street and told/showed the bartender, who vehemently denied it came from the ice because it was a brand new bag. Then I noticed 3 of the maggot looking things in my ice, so I went back in and showed my husband and then the bartender. He told my husband it was probably from the citrus he was cutting on a board near the ice bin. They were frozen INSIDE the ice cubes. I'm upset with myself that I didn't take a picture of it, it was gross. I'm upset that a bartender would try to make it seem like it was nothing. After seeing it all in my ice my husband just asked for our money back, and the bartender said, "But I've already poured another." Ummm, sorry, but no thank you. He did give the refund, but I most assuredly won't give them a second chance when I visit Columbus.
