Cavatelli e Formaggio al Tartufo (truffle pasta)

We made reservations same day, and had a nice outside table. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful with our questions and suggestions. The outside seating is nice and they do have a small inside space as well. We had a pesto pizza and a truffle pasta. They were delicious. Highly recommend both of these. We will definitely be going back.

Came here last Friday and had a great experience. We made a reservation ahead of time. They start you off with warm bread and olive oil & vinegar. We ordered a plate of olives. They're served warm and still have the pit in them fyi. For drinks we got sparkling water and I ordered a virgin espresso martini just to see if it could be done and it was delicious. Tasted like a good iced coffee lol For dinner we got the gnocchi and the fiocchi di pera. They were both so good and flavorful. Next time I come back I'll either get the same thing or try the tagliatelle bolognese They have indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit indoors. The atmosphere was charming and the service was great. The only thing I wish is they didn't seat us right next to other tables when there were plenty of other empty tables

This restaurant was amazing. To start off our server was so friendly, she basically helped me order my whole meal, wine and all by asking me what my preferences were. I ordered the salmon dish and it was delicious. I substituted the risotto for crème potatoes. The artichoke and capers was the perfect salty add on. My mom's truffle pasta was so rich and flavorful. As everyone else has mentioned, yes the bread is to die for!!! It's like a warm, pillowy, doughy heaven. I can't wait to come back to this restaurant! Salmon: 10/10 Truffle pasta: 10/10 Bread Basket: 11/10 Service: 11/10

Stopped in this evening had the peach bruschetta and lobster special, tomato bruschetta, gnocchi ,sausage pasta and bread. Excellent food and service!

Beet carpaccio (we requested no burrata)

We stopped by for lunch while walking in downtown Los Gatos and had a great experience here! It's a small, upscale but casual Italian restaurant with great service. Outdoor seating is available and there is a free parking lot within walking distance. We ordered the beet carpaccio ($19), which was my favorite dish. The beets were sliced thin and dressed with balsamic vinaigrette and olive oil and topped with microgreens. We also ordered the gnocchi ($24) and trofie ($25) and found both pasta dishes to be good. The only negative thing I would say is I felt the pricing was pretty high, and while the pasta dishes were good, I didn't feel the quality fully matched the price. I personally feel that over $20 is pretty steep for a vegetarian pasta dish, and for the price, I would want it to be more than "good". I think this is a great stop for lunch if you are in downtown Los Gatos!

    Mushroom ravioli

I've tried this place twice and both times it was just okay. I like that they have specials and I got the mushroom ravioli that they had as a special that day. I was excited to try it as I love mushroom but something was off about it. The filling was very odd and the texture wasn't good. The pine nuts were a good addition though. The dish was also soaked in butter. It was quite expensive at 28$ too. They do have lots of dessert options which is nice. I got the donuts that had chocolate and cream filling and also the tiramisu. Both were good but the tiramisu had too much cream on it at the top layer and the ratio was off. The service and ambiance are both good here though, and there's lots of seating outdoor if you want to sit outside with heaters too. It was also way too cold inside.

Was walking by to buy a book at the Barnes and Nobles nearby, I was getting hungry and walked around to find a place to eat, then I happen to see this place and was craving pasta. So I came into place looking to get some pasta here. Just to let you know all their pasta sounded delicious. Their pizzas looked intriguing and was almost tempted to get a pizza also, but I refrained my self from getting one. Even the appetizers were delicious sounding, but the only thing I got was the bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was warm and nice when served which is a plus. I got the gnocchi pasta was also very good, however if you eat it with protein they have in there, it does get super salty. Honestly it might be better just with sauce. But it is not cheap and the amount I got was surprisingly small for how much I paid for. It's my only minor complaint, but this is a nice little place to take someone on a date The servers were also very friendly and nice.

    Vongole e Gamberi
    Michael A.

Came by on a Saturday after the farmers market. We were seated right away and had the option of indoor or outdoor seating. We sat outside because of the nice weather and the seating was covered with heating lamps. We got the daily special short Rib tagliatelle and the vongole e Gamberi. The tagliatelle noodles were cooked perfectly and there was a good ratio of meat to noodles. 5/5 The vongole sauce was well seasoned 5/5. *We enjoy squid ink* so if you do not like squid ink, this may not be for you.

    Pizza pesto
    Kaitlin K.

The pear and Gorgonzola pasta was incredible. The pizza was fine but the pesto tasted too garlicky (reminiscent of the Costco pesto). They currently have a peach and burrata app special that is delicious! There is indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor is covered and has heaters. I felt service was a little slow, we waited a while to pay the check even though there were only 4 other parties present. Other groups had dogs outside on the patio so it appears it is dog friendly.

Oddly, the tables are not set with the same color plate. Intentional?

Nice place when you walk in. White table cloths and nice wallpaper. Not sure why they were playing Southern rock in the background, but it was 3 PM so maybe it was just to make staff happy when business is slow. We had the misty salad and the zucchini pizza with arugula. I got the pasta with shrimp and clams to go. The salad was enough for the two of us to share and was pretty good. Not drenched in dressing, but just enough to give you the flavor. The pizza came piping hot from the oven with yellow squash, and arugula on it, and a nice soft goat cheese. Even though it was hot, the crust was not quite done through and so it was a little floppy. Still it was delicious, especially with the red chili flakes. Which I took note come out of the shaker very nicely, unlike other grinds of red chili flakes. Service was pretty good except they did not ask if we would like to have red chili flakes brought to the table. We had to get them ourselves from the station behind us as the server had quickly disappeared before we noticed. Even though it was mid afternoon, they had a decent amount of business, primarily teens or early 20s, probably to share a pizza and gab. I would definitely come back, especially to try the pasta dishes Since I got a pasta dish to go, I will try it at home and let that be my guide.

Great spot in Los Gatos for some tasty and rich pizza and pasta. Lots of outdoor seating next to the street, and plenty of space inside as well. Great place to people watch and take in the amazing California climate.

Martini and empty glasses at the end of an amazing dinner!

Centonove is one of my favorite restaurants in Los Gatos. It's our go-to spot for my friends and me. Our favorite drink is the Pear Martini--it's so delicious and dangerously easy to have too many! The first time I went, we ordered pizza, which was a great choice, especially since they offer gluten-free and vegan options. However, since then, I've become partial to their Fiocchi di Pera--pasta pockets with pear and cheese in a Gorgonzola cream sauce. Absolutely divine! The staff is knowledgeable and super fun, adding to the great atmosphere. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends, as seating--both indoors and outdoors--is limited. But even if you have to wait, it's definitely worth it!

    COPPA TRE CIOCCOLATI

Stopped by for a quick dinner and luckily they had a table available on their outdoor patio since I was dining with my dog. Unfortunately, the bread service is no longer complimentary. It's $4 now. That's such bummer because it's such a great way to welcome back customers. My first time dining here I had pasta so this time around I ordered a pizza. They have good vegetarian pizza options. I ordered the traditional Margherita pizza and it was solid! Thin slices and fluffy crust. The sauce to mozzarella ratio was perfect. I reheated my leftovers the next day and it was still just as good!

We came right before 5pm, before the kitchen opened so we ordered drinks while we waited. Husband was very impressed with their wine list, which is a good sign. He was excited to try different wines and it's awesome they offer half pours so he could try more. But oh-my-gosh. GET. THE. SANTORINI. I loved that drink. Milk punch, yoghurt ... it was so refreshing and milky. I felt like I was in south of France or in Hawaii, sitting on the patio with the slight breeze and plants around and quiet atmosphere. It was so yummy, I got a second. This is a big indication how good the drink is because 99% of the time I usually have my husband finish my drink and never order a second one...especially the SAME ONE. But omg, I need to go back to get another. I've been dreaming of it. Service was great. Esp since we were one of the only guests, they tended to us well. It can be easy to forget about the guests on the patio but their cadence in checking on us was good. Portion sizes for the food is quite generous. We're used to octopus dishes coming out really small as tapas, but they gave a lot. And I loved the fried kidney beans that came with it. I liked how the bluefin tuna crudo came in a light oil and not overly sauced or salty. Pork chop ... WOW. Huge portion, we were so impressed. Rich flavors, delicious. Boar pappardelle, daughter did her happy food dance so you know it's good. Al dente and great taste.

This place is owned by a husband and wife team. The tasting room in Los Gatos is cute with several tables, couches and seating at the bar and limited seating outside. You can walk in for a tasting or a glass or two of wine but it's best to make a reservation if it is a larger group. Tasting is $20 that is waived with purchase of 2 bottles or if you become a wine club member. The parking is the difficult part, but it's just to this tasting room. Downtown Los Gatos in general has limited parking. The first time I arranged a meetup event tasting here, it was not that busy on a weekend. Gail, one of the owners served us. What all of us noticed is that while she poured the wine for our tastings, she did not linger to talk about each wine nor did she promote the wine club or even ask us if we wanted to purchase anything. It was not busy at all so can't blame it on that. We wrote it off as a fluke. But, this happened the next time we went as a group and at the various wine walks. Gail will be smiling and will pour the wine for the people in front of us but as my group and I approach, the smile is gone. She will pour the tasting but wait for us to move on - again no explanation on what she is pouring etc. This past week, I was talking to her at an event and she just brushed me off with her hand and talked over me to some one else. I met the husband at the 2024 Vine to Wine event and we had a long conversation, which was a welcome change. Frankly, I don't remember what she poured or whether it tasted good, I came away with the memory of the person pouring.
