Good dealership, pulls some strings to get me approved, and everything after went smooth

Highly don't recommend. They sell lemons. Bought a car. The headgasket was bad. Drove 5 minutes off the lot and it started overheating.

Sales Lemons only had a car for 1 month from here and it broke down ! Then they act like I was the problem and didn't wanna give me my warranty number. Now I have to pay car note and insurance for a car I can't drive! read more

So I'm looking specifically for a 7-10 yr old g37s coupe. Central Auto has one. Looks to be in great condition according to pics. Decent mileage. Fair market value on this car would be $14-16k, rounding up, & assuming it's in the top 20% condition wise. So I reached out & made an offer, & was told I could get the car for my offer amount, but for that day only. So obviously they were wanting to get this car off the lot fast. That was a huge red flag which I didn't recognize, & wrote off as just trying to get me to come down that day, which I did. So I rushed down after work, inspected the cars interior & exterior, & honestly, it looked to be in great shape. Took it on a brief test drive, & it passed with flying colors. I almost was ready to sign the papers, but something told me to wait, & due my complete due diligence. So I told them I wanted to see the car in sunlight, & take it to a shop to be inspected. AJ was cool about it, & understood my concerns. 5 min later he calls me & told me the deal I had worked out was only good for one day. Basically if I didn't come back & buy the car my offer was null & void. I'm so glad I didn't turn around & buy the car, as the carfax i checked out when getting home showed it had failed back to back emission inspections 2 weeks apart. Then the car was immediately offered for sale, probably for a huge discount, & central auto bought it. Gee, I wonder if there's anything wrong with it?? Anyone who's interested in the car hopefully checks the carfax first. I doubt anyone who does will drop $20,000 on a car that can't pass the emission inspection....TWICE!! Whenever a car fails TWO emission checks back to back it's almost always a sign of engine problems, & with this car in particular, you definitely don't want to have to replace anything in the engine. Phew! Disaster averted. Will NOT be wasting my time with these clowns, who will play good cop/bad cop with you, & try to sell you a lemon, disguised as a shiny new, used car. read more

Scammers. I know it's as is but they lie, cheat, and hurry you off the lot like you are a bother. I think the guy is Alex, he is all talk and doesn't fix a thing despite making promises. Watch the "top of the line" warranty they sell you too, it's junk. There is no way the cars pass smog and you can't convince me they don't pay someone to rig it to pass. The engine light came on in the car less than a week after purchasing the vehicle. The AC was recharged when we bought it and then went out quickly after again. Stay away at all costs. The cars look great but they don't work right. As always the salesmen say what you want to hear. I will never go to a used shady lot again and expect/hope for some type of honesty. We've had the car about 2 months and after they "fixed" it the engine light came back on within 2 days and from what the mechanic we went to said it smells and sounds like the cats may be going bad. It's not the 02 sensors like we originally thought. They supposedly put a camera in the cats and said they are prefect. It's fine, the car would've probably been bought either way because it was the car my son wanted and in the better condition than any other he looked at. But stay away. read more

Way overpriced. Most of their vehicles are priced $5k to $10k, sometimes $15k over kbb...Go look somewhere else for a used car. These guys are still riding the covid train where they rip everyone off on a used car...which is probably why none of their vehicles are selling. read more

The epitome of a sleazy/cutthroat used car lot. I'm surprised they can keep the doors open with how they conduct business. I got approved for a loan on a car, a week later they call saying the loan fell through and I need to come back and sign new loan docs or return the car. I went to return the car and they said I signed a purchase agreement and am stuck with the car. They've spent a week ignoring me/trying to "find matching financing for me". They wont let me return the car, and are essentially holding me hostage until they figure their scheme out. These guys try to change prices last minute. And their word is meaningless. Ride a bike/bus or walk before you subject yourself to these miscreants. P.S. I'm still trying to figure this ordeal out. Will update on status. read more

I have purchased a few cars in my life, and this is by far the easiest that it has ever been. I live in LA (8 hour drive) and they had the exact van that I was looking for. I called, and was given a good price over the phone. I booked a one way flight from LA. They drafted up all the paperwork and had it ready for me when I arrived. It took a total of 10 min to sign paperwork and I was on my way home. No hassle, no games, no up selling. There was one hiccup after the fact and it was resolved promptly and professionally. Do not trust this guys! First time buying a car and it has been miserable! Agreed on a price and then they changed it on the paper work. Co signed with my bf and two week after they call saying the loan wasn't approved that we have to re signed or bring the car back. We went to drop off the car and nobody was there. My '92 Civic Honda was stolen last month on Mothers Day, I was very upset and only had that car for 8 days. They're very flexible, understanding, helpful, and they care about their customers as their number 1 priority. They work with their customers very good. I bought a '05 Corolla S 5 speed stick shift, the car is in absolutely great condition. I love my car and I'm grateful for purchasing this car. But it does need to have the clutch replace though but these guys are awesome, they said they'll take care of it! Purchased my 2008 Acura MDX in September from Central Auto, was extremely skeptical about it after purchasing from 3M Motors and having the engine fail and them leave me for dead. One month after leaving Central Auto my brakes started squeaking so they replaced all brakes and rotors without hesitation. A month after that I hit a pot hole and a knocking noise started so I asked if they could refer me to a low cost mechanic, and they fixed the part with a brand new part from the Acura dealership themselves. My experience has been with Mark, who from the get go was not pressuring me, trying to sell me something I was not looking for (as I had my eye set on something) and worked with me via text and phone. I went to Central Auto Sales to look at a vehicle and test drive it. Mark was extremely responsive, courteous, professional, yet casual which is perfect. I test drove the vehicle, we agreed on a price and after acquiring financing, it took no more than an hour to get paperwork signed and on my way. I'm typically very picky with places that I go to as I know most of the sales people know less about cars than I do. My very first car, a 1990 Honda Prelude (her name was Gertrude), died about a month ago and I was heartbroken but I knew I needed to start looking for a new car. My grandparents and I were car-shopping for about a week non-stop: from Craigslist, to used car lots, to brand-name dealerships, we went everywhere but we seemed to always find something wrong; whether it was a sketchy salesman, something wrong with the engine or Carfax, false advertisement, too many miles, etc. Even when I found a car I liked, the company's reputation was less than favorable. To be completely honest, I was giving up hope. But then we found Central Auto. AJ came out to greet us and was super charismatic and determined to find me my perfect car. We were out car shopping in 106 degree weather and AJ still remained super patient with my grandparents and me with our very specific budget and other detailed criteria. He even let my grandparents sit in the building they call "the ice box" that had quality a/c and provided them with cold water while he & I set out to find my car. After searching, test-driving, & a little bit of bartering, we finally found my perfect car. By the time I got to finalizing and signing the papers, I felt like I had met the whole staff! And each and every one of them was supportive, reassuring, and genuinely happy and excited for me. It was amazing. They even followed up to make sure that everything was okay with the car after the fact. That's an honest company. Extremely disappointed by this dealership. Buyers beware! The 5 star reviews must be fabricated based on my experience here. Bought a van that they claimed was in very good condition. Mark the manager made promises to make the minor repairs needed so I felt comfortable with the purchase. Turned out I was lulled into a false sense of security. I never felt the need to have the vehicle inspected by a third party because they seemed so up front about saying "I could but the van is in great shape!" I was completely ghosted after the purchase. Mark won't return calls or texts. They never took care of the known issues they promised to fix. Furthermore, less than 2 weeks after purchase the check engine light came on. Now I've had to spend over $2500 in repairs to make the vehicle operational. The shop I took it to said several engine codes had not had enough miles to test. This means the dealership knew about these problems and cleared the codes so light wouldn't come on during test drive. Completely unethical. read more

I was researching Honda civics online and came across this specific Honda Civic that Central Auto was advertising, I called in and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Mo. He was very informative and not pushy at all. Great skills and offered to walk the car and call me back. Unlike most places I left my number and he called back. What a surprise! I scheduled and appointment and proceeded to come in. My appointment was the next day, I came in and to my surprise the vehicle was pulled out and ready for me to test drive. I drove the vehicle and instantly fell in love but needed to show my family to my surprise he offered to let me take it to my house and show them. I did and everyone approved. If you're thinking of paying more than a car is worth come to this place. I talked with a sales rep on the phone and he told me that the price for a car I was interested in is negotiable. Naturally, I did some research to see what a good offer would be. I find out that the car I am interested in, is being sold at about 5 or 6 other lots for $3k cheaper. I thought this would be a good way to get them down $1k or $2k. After scheduling an appt a week later, my brother and I drove almost 2 hours to potentially buy this car. When I show up the person I talked to on the phone is suddenly not there even after I confirmed with him the night before we were still on. This new sales rep Jeff, was pretty nice but when it came down to negotiating he literally laughed in my face when I gave them an offer. Granted, I did low ball them, but what I offered was still $1000 more than what the other lots had it at, plus what I offered was $2000 above the Kelley Blue book market value. After I showed him all the cars for sale in the area, I could tell he had no idea why the car was priced so high, so he went a talked with his manager. I had also showed him there was damage to the wheels and the plastic piece under the front of the car was duck taped on. After waiting outside in the rain for 10 minutes I was forced to go walk up to the manger, who Isn't wearing a mask, and he proceeds to light a cigarette in my face and ask me what the problem is. I tried to be very respectful and explain to him the facts about why I thought the car was worth less, and he told me "No, we don't do that here - no negotiating." And he told me good luck finding that car for the price I was looking for. I insisted that we could meet somewhere in the middle on price but he didn't budge. He rudely blew his smoke in my face and my brother and we angrily left. We decided to go to the other dealerships I was showing him, and I ended up buying the same car, that is 5 years newer, for $2000 less then what the car at this lot was forcing people to buy at. I wanted to drive my new car by this lot to show them I found a better car for less money, but it wasn't worth it anymore. I couldn't believe how rude they were to my brother and I. They told me we can negotiate the price, but then laugh in my face and refused to listen to anything when it came down to it.
