Getting in a car accident is no fun. Dealing with repair people are usually worse. But I was very pleasantly surprised with a level of customer service I received in this body shop. My coordinator was Bobbie Soares and she went above and beyond to make sure I leave happy. They have a pretty BIG size operation there so most of the services available. The reason to this one star is the amount of time I have to wait for parts to come in and use a vehicle loaner that is not covered under my insurance!! Went in to get my car repaired for the first claim. Second I got to a different accident which is the front area which falls close to the first claim. So I thought I was going to only get the first claim repaired. But I was not aware that they were gonna take in the car for the 2nd repairs. I was told by the agent that they were only going to inspect the vehicle same day not take the vehicle and wait for a week for the parts to come in. My vehicle was still drive-able!!! What should have happened was they should have looked at the 2nd claim order the parts and reschedule another day to bring in repairs until all parts come in. Then be able to fix claim one and claim 2 all together so that way I could still take the vehicle home and drive it to places I need to go but no I ended up spending $300 dollars in rental prices!!!! What they ended up doing was fixing claim 1 which didn't make sense to me because they would still have to wait for the parts for the 2nd claim to come in. So I should have been able to take my car for now until all PARTS CAME IN!! So that was I can take it in to borrow a rental for a few days. I was not expecting them to take this long!!!!!!!! I'm basically paying out of pocket for the $500 deductible, $300 for repairs that was not even part of the claim that they shouldn't have been looking at. Also to top it off I'm paying for rental with enterprise because it's not covered in my insurance plan. This whole total with enterprise came out to $302 out of pocket costs. This is totally RIDICULOUS!! My car had been in the shop for 2 weeks now and I had been paying a lot with this company. I should have listened to my friend and went to their shop in town. But because I seen reviews on how good they are, I trusted it would be the same experience. I'm sorry but service is mediocre they are nice over the phone but in person there wasn't really any guest experience that I will remember to come back for a vehicle repair!! This will be my last and final business I give this company!! Can't even recommend them at all to my friends and family due to the experience I'm currently still in. Even writing my review my car is still in the shop it's gonna be still under repairs until next week. Instead they should be paying me for my rental for this whole screw up. read more

Beyond happy with my experience here! As a customer of Geico I was able to take my car in for the estimate, schedule my rental car, and schedule to bring my car in for repair. I even had to reschedule for a week later at short notice and they were able to fit me in. Upon dropping off my vehicle our rental car was there and ready to go. All the ladies in the office are super nice and helpful as well. They did a flawless job on the repair and I would recommend them to anyone!! read more

If I could give this place no stars, i would. I had a paint defect on some parts of my car and so the dealership brought my car here to have them repaint those 3 areas. I had a rental in the mean time, I wasnt complaining but tell me why did my car take over a month to get painted. On top of that there work was CRAP. Like that person was practicing on my car. I had so much over sprays on my wheels/rims n trims of my car plus the paint is already peeling and it hasn't even been a week of having it n let me tell you the paint doesnt even match my original. Long time coming. I took my 1 series b.m.w. here and it took over 4 months for them to repair it. These guys never noticed that my right front suspension was messed up when they diagnosed the car after the accident. So they fixed the left side and just before they were ready to deliver it to me they noticed the entire right side suspension was jacked up. I was making lease payments for 4 months and they took so long that my lease ended and this body shop had to have my car towed directly to the dealership on a flatbed truck because lease had ended 3 months into their repair job. Needless to say the folks at b.m.w financial were impatient and wanted their car back. My insurance company only provided a rental car for 30 days and these guys took 150 days to fix my car. I had to go buy another car in the meantime. When the repair was finished the car looked great. But I only saw it when they were lowering it off the flatbed tow truck. Had they properly assessed my car they could have cut my repair time by 2 months. This was a nightmare. read more

Came here as my Nissan got backed into a month ago and this was one of the places the driver's insurance told me I could go to get a appraisal. The location is a bit tricky if you don't know the area, but basically it's behind Cutter Ford in Aiea. Just turn into that road when you see Cutter Ford, drive a little down, and you should see a big sign on your right. Turn in to that driveway/road and the shop will be to your left! Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and professional. They made sure to explain the process to me as this was my first filing a claim. They took pictures of the damages, got my contact info, told me the repairs that my car will need (a replacement front bumper), and told me an estimated time frame for the repairs (2-3 days after ordering and receiving the bumper). Then they told me they'll call me once they receive the part. After I got the call to come back and drop off my car, they also explained the Enterprise Rent-A-Car service that came with the repair (I'm lucky the guy who backed into me had REALLY GOOD insurance). It was very convenient that this service was on site. Though they told me that it would take about 2 days, it only took a day for them to have my car ready! Talk about FAST SERVICE! My car looked brand new again :D! I'm very happy with the service I received here and would recommend this place to everyone~ read more

The hatch on my car had an unfortunate run in with my garage door. The garage door won. My hatch was left with gouges that were 2 ft in length and 2 inches wide. Maybe detail shops are supposed to make things look brand new ..but I was impressed with the quick service, friendly staff and that overall feeling that I got what I paid for and didn't get ripped off for being a clueless female. I was involved in a 4 car accident and got rear ended on the H-1 . I decided to go with Central Body because it was close to my house and I heard only good things from people.. First off, I was already traumatized from being in an accident and having to repair my car, and drive a loaner was the last thing I didn't want to deal with. But my experience with Central Body was anything but stressful.. Geico and Enterprise rental car was also on property so everything was all at one location.. Very convenient ! From the minute I walked in, the staff was very friendly , professional and informative... I immediately felt at ease.. , There was a delay in the repair as there was a delay in the parts arriving. But Jena was awesome and personable .. She kept me updated on the status of the repairs and responded to my emails promptly. I had to get my car early to get my son to band practice .. We live next door to the neighbors from hell, long story short their kid rammed her bike into my husbands BRAND NEW 2014 Mitsubishi Evo. Thankfully, their renters insurance covered the cost of repair, however this has put a lot of undue stress on an already strained neighborly relationship. The scratch was deep, we for an estimate for almost $900! The burden of waiting weeks upon weeks on their insurance adjust or to come see the scratch for pointless because he was a no-show three times! Finally we took it here on the good advice of the sales/finance manager at ford who sold us both of our new vehicles Perfect repair, three days, no complaints other than an insanely obsurd quote we got from their 'ding expert' guy lol. He wanted almost a grand for a tiny ding that we had perviously quoted with Maaco for under $300. Looks like well be going to Maaco for that repair (which rightfully was our sons fault). read more

Amazing service!! My Audi a4 got rear ended. Went the same day it happened without an appointment to get a quote. The same day (Thursday) got a call from Central saying I can drop the car of the following day and they'd start working on it then (Friday). Went on a cruise for a few days. Came back on Thursday and the car was completely finished and ready for pick up. The women up front in the office were incredibly friendly and helpful from beginning to end. I've been bringing my cars here for several years now (two BMWs and a Mercedes-Benz) for vandalism and collision repairs. They've always done excellent work in a timely manner. I've worked with several body shops in the past, and this is the only body shop where I have always been happy with their work. The shop appears to be ran very well and their quality control checks are amazingly comprehensive. Awesome service! I was rear ended and picked this body shop because it wasn't too far from home. I love that they had the rental car company on site! They worked together so when my repairs took a few days longer they took care of it with the rental and insurance! When I got my minivan back the back was sparkling!! It looks amazing!!!! They emailed me progress reports on what step they were on in fixing my car. I had also hit a curb a long time ago and I had a flap hanging down in the front. When the worker pulled my car up I commented on the front part dragging and how I needed to bring it back one day for an estimate. He took it back into the garage and fixed it! So I took it to my mechanic that had seen it the day before i had brought it in to the shop and he found dirt in the brakes and the hubs were locked, like someone had gone 4wheeling in it, something they can cover up pretty easy since they wash before you get it back.. my drive shaft was messed up too and had to replace it. my a/c is now blown and i will have to decide if i want to fix that too. Central called me telling me they got the fender part the day after i picked it up, after they told me at the shop that it would take another week to get in. I told them my suspicions and they said they couldn't do anything about it and they don't drive the cars. NEVER GO THERE read more

They did excellent work on our BMW. Our Escalade was keyed and so we took back. They gave us a discount for being a returning customer, but it took them over a week to make the repair and when we got it back, not even a week later the side panels on the doors were coming off. We took it back in and even though they fixed it on the stop, they used the same double sided tape that didn't work the first time. Just make sure you look over your vehicle after your repair if you take to Central Body and Paint. read more

Today I call to get a estimate on a repair on my car due to a recent accident. The woman that answered was very accommodating and ask me to stop by today. When I arrived she asked me to wait by my car for the estimator. I was help by Shane. He was very professional and explained what my options were. He looked at the damage and went to get a cloth to wipe down the area. He took off the paint from the damaged and told me it might just be paint from the other car. He told me he would buff the area and it would be about 50.00 so I told him that was fine and if there was damage to let me know. He told me to give him 10 minutes and he would let me know if there was more to repair. He came back; I looked at it looked great! So I said okay I'm ready to to pay. Can't say enough about this shop. The craftsmanship and their attention to detail is superb. Just had a horrible experience with another shop in Kalihi which I don't want to enclose however central body and paint in pearlcity went above and beyond to make sure our vehicle is done correctly. We have been going to this shop for years and never had any problems but due to unfortunate circumstances I had to take my vehicle somewhere else. After a hit and run at the pearl ridge mall, I called my insurance company immediately. They said this place was one of the body shops they deal with. I was hesitant because of some of the reviews, but I called them and they said to come over right away. A really nice guy set me up to bring my car in a week later. It was completely hassle free! When I brought my car in, there was a rental place on site. So I dropped off my car and picked up my rental at the same time. They said it would take 4 days, and 3 days later they called. My car got hit by a rude driver who was not following the lanes in a parking lot. Even though he was perpendicular to the lane of travel, his insurance said he was not at fault and refused to pay for my damage. It looks pretty minor, but I figured I should get an estimate. A friend recommended me to Central Body & Paint so I called to make an appointment. The girl who answered was polite and said I could just drop by before 4:30 PM. I came down about 3 and was told to wait in their customer lounge. A/C was a blessing and they had a T.V. and magazines; better than some doctors offices I have been to. Their regular estimator was busy so the owner came out to write my estimate. Rory was really down to earth and straight with me about my damages. It only came out to about $300.00. His estimate was detailed though and I could see that most of that was for the couple parts they needed. Rory told me I was lucky the guy only hit the outer piece of my bumper which is sold seperate. Rory took the time to really look over my car though and I was really happy that he noticed my safety check had expired; I totally missed that. I asked if he knew any mechanic shops nearby to do a safety since I know body shops don't usually do mechanical stuff or safety checks. He told me they have a full service mechanic area on site with 2 mechanics. They do safety checks and fast tracked my car to the back to check it out. My car didn't pass because a tire sensor was out(which I was already aware of, but didn't know it affected the safety check). They identified which sensor though, which was cool because I had been to other places that couldn't figure it out. I authorized them to order it and I will be back tomorrow to install it. They told me it should just take about 30 minutes. Really satisfied with my experience at Central Body and Paint and I will be recommending them to my friends. read more

My wife's car got hit on H1 by a piece of metal that some young kids didn't have tied down in the flatbed. There was damage to the right front bumper & the fog lamp was knocked out as well. I called the dealer to see who they do business with and they told me all of their work is done here, and now I can see why. I took the car in, met the staff, and not only did they fix the damage, they matched the paint perfectly. I dropped the car off on 04/05, and it was ready on 04/12, and get this, I couldn't pick it up on 04/12 because I had no one to drop me off, so they had one of their staff members pick me up in Kapolei and bring me to the shop to get my car so that I would have it for the weekend. I have dealt with a number of body & paint shops but never had one go the extra mile like this to make sure I was a satisfied customer, and the car looks as new as it did when we got it, quality work. My hat's off to the staff, they treat you well, and you can tell they enjoy what they are doing. I will be going back if I have any issues that require body work, I'm sold! read more

I had my first accident and was at at a loss. I chose Central Body and Paint from a referral. I loved the way Jena kept me updated on the progress of my vehicle. If I had a question she would always get back to me quickly. I received 2 e-mail updates a week regardless. It was so nice knowing how things were progressing. I'm torn because they were really understanding when I needed something from my car after hours.But man oh man they took 2 weeks 2 fix what seemed to me a minor dent.Infact they are still not finished. To top it all off they barely even update Me to let me know how long its gonna take them to finish.They emailed me once and they've had my car for like I said 2 weeks. I needed my locks repaired and this was was on the recommended by my insurance company. I called them at the end March and they had me fax over my estimate from my insurance company so they could order the needed parts. About two weeks go by and they were able to get the parts and schedule the work to be done. I have to say, I loved being able to communicate with them via email. I dropped my truck off first thing in the morning. I was offered a rental car and I declined. Then they offered a courtesy shuttle to go to work. That just blew my mind. They said it would be about 4 hours to complete the work. I was called before the 4 hour mark and they offered to pick me up as well. I declined. When I arrived they were able to tender my transaction, however. The staff realized they over charged me and fixed their error. My locks look great. I didn't notice til hours later; they washed my truck. That BLEW my mind again. So if you need work done...body work of course, this is your place. They also do minor engine work too. It would have earned 5 stars had it not been doe the overcharging, however. Not a big deal. read more
