I don't think it was the sauce becaue I tried just the noodles without a lot of the sauce (we got the sausage pasta- forget the name), and the noodles were just way too salty. Maybe too much salt in the cooking water? The noodles were a great texture and perfect bounce. We ended up tossing the dish, very sad:( We will give it another try for sure because of all the good reviews and we saw other people eating and enjoying their food from there. The sandwich was flavorful, and I'm impressed that the bread wasn't too thick because sometimes places serve sandwiches with way too much bread-to-filling ratio. The bread was also a nice texture, I'm glad it wasn't too toasty or crunchy like some sandwiches can get that rub the roof of my mouth raw.
