This place is a diamond the in "rough" (aka tucked inside blocks of industrial businesses). AMAZING food and service! The staff is extremely attentive and friendly - even got me a different dressing to try with my salad without me even asking! Love that! The salads a freaking huge and soooo fresh! My friend had the BLT which was great and the fries were crispy and hot. 10/10 - come here consistently now and it never fails. Perfection! This wonderful Deli, serves a large variety of different taste buds, stretching across breakfast and lunchtime favorites! The menu has a lot of options, and right away you walk in and are smacked with an array of flavor sensations smells to prep you for the adventure you are to embark on! We ordered breakfast burritos and they are not little guys. Full of flavor and options, I got a bacon, ham, hash brown burrito. It comes with a pretty decent jalapeño aioli sauce to boost! The staff all around were fun, engaging, and very nice like family at a bbq. The place was well lit and welcoming. This gem sits in the commerce area off 201 freeway and 5600 west, so may be harder to spot for wonderers, but trust me, this might be some of the best the west side of town has to offer! read more

The breakfast burritos are my favorite. Working as a Truck Driver locally and Over the road i always stop at Maxi's if i am working close by. I had the croissant breakfast sandwich and it was very good and well made. The service was great and I enjoyed sitting down to eat. My buddy enjoyed his food but I can't remember what he had. Only complaint is that I'm diabetic and they only had sweet and low for my coffee. I can't stand sweet and low. I'll definitely eat there again. The place seemed legit and I'm picky when it comes to restaurants. read more

My company chooses Maxis as our main catering vendor for office holiday parties. We've always been impressed with their menu selection and promptness. Maxi's could easily be a 4 star joint, if they would just improve their house keeping. The Breakfast Sandwich was among the best I've had. However, the bathroom and especially the overfilled trash can with paper towels all around it, drew my attention right away.....and not in a good way. Tooling around in a part of town I'm almost never in, I noticed the time and how late it was getting, saw this tiny sign parked in the lawn of one of the multitude of industrial buildings out there and spun over to see what it was all about. I was thinking hole-in-the-wall, not the much larger corner this occupies. Inside was quite a bit larger than I was expecting, though more cafeteria than restaurant, so not exactly too comfy for my tastes, though I definitely appreciated the efforts of the attentive and very energetic counter girl. This appears to be sort of an all-things-to-all-people approach with the usual cold sandwich and salad selection, then burgers and even breakfasts as well. I was typically short on time, so I picked the safest bet and went for a Pastrami sandwich. Pastrami tasted ok, but was a bit dry. Sandwich overall was too bready and I'm guessing that would be the case with any of those that use that type of roll. I wound up working around about half of the bread and that was closer to right, though still a bit excessive. The bread itself was also too chewy (think moving towards stale) for my taste. The usual yellow mustard and pickle complemented the sandwich, but there was nothing particularly remarkable about it. Aside from that, there is a lot of pre-packaged stuff here, so my guess is this is just to cater to those various industrial places around it in the name of convenience rather than really shooting for any heights of wonderful food or anything. We used to eat here all the time. Everyone at work did. They had a change in management a few year later back and it just hasn't been the same quality since then. Maybe we will give it another try. Hope they get their quality back! read more

Dmitri at Maxi's Deli was so helpful in providing lunch for one of our biggest customers. The process was so easy to get lunch brought in for 70 people. This place has the nicest people. I enjoy going there just for them. If it was not for the people I would not go. Sorry the food is not the best. The fry's are just bad. The buns on the burgers are just soggy. The chicken strips are tough and over done. I eat here a ton because the location. I am not sure how the ratings stay up. I have tried to talk to the owner but he really doesn't want to hear it. Accord to him everything is great. This place could be great. It has everything you would want. So I went into this mediocre deli. Ordered a mediocre burger with cheese and bacon in combo with mediocre fries and drink. I was in the restroom when my food come to our table. No mediocre fries, so I went to the front counter to notify them of their mistake. The man said I didn't order fries, I said I got the combo It come to $7.10 I have the cup right there on the table. He said no your friend ordered the combo, do you have a receipt. You cashier didn't give me a receipt. This guy is making me look like a crook, for something I paid for. Over $1 worth of fires. Not only does the food suck, but they sure have a nice way of making people feel not welcome. I will never be back. read more

The only reason I'm giving them three stars was because of the patty. It was kind of small for a ten dollar burger. It also tasted like it was frozen instead of fresh as you would expect on a ten dollar burger. That aside there staff was excellent, the rest of my burger was fresh. Fries right out of the fryer. Great atmosphere aside from one chairs cushion falling apart. Fix the burger and the chair I'd give it 5 easy. read more

I was a bit hesitant due to the other reviews but as this seems to be the only cafe/restaurant in this industrial complex and I have a 90-min wait for my car to get fixed at a nearby shop I came here. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered their Cobb Salad and all the veggies were super fresh and crisp and the homemade blue cheese dressing was good. Unfortunately the bacon was a bit soggy but overall it was a decent salad. The staff is friendly and they have a a clean and airy eating area with a view of the mountains. So even though I probably won't return unless I am having more work done in the area, I'm giving 4 stars as it far better than the fast food options around here. read more

We come here by choice not because it's the only place around! I sometimes even crave it on the weekends which is a bummer because they're only open on weekdays. Love the maxis club and the chicken strips and cheese fries! And everybody is so friendly. I also would usually have to order for ten people in the office and they are very accommodating to that! I've had a big group in town all week for work. We ordered from Maxi's Tuesday. We picked up large aesthetically pleasing salads. They tasted great. Today, I called and ordered from them again. Dimitri took our order. He delivered them personally to us and was extremely nice. I had the special of the day, which was the tuna melt. It was delicious! Another tried a different salad than she did Tuesday, and she mentioned that she would eat this salad (Southwestern Chicken Salad) everyday. We also got GIGANTIC cookies and brownies. I can't wait to try them. I love this Mom & Pop deli, and Dimitri is such a great person. read more

JUST OK food. If you are going to eat the breafast CHECK YOUR ORDER. Even if you're the only customer, they will forget the salsa on the southwest omlet and forget the toast you order, then in a hurry they'll pretend to toast it, but it's not toasted at all. This morning I ordered the maxi omlet and a side of toast. They forgot the sour cream, and when I opened my toast there wasn't any butter on it or for it in my order! They forget the butter on toast, but when you order the BLT they "toast" the bread on the flat top in clarified butter and turn it into a greasy unappetizing mess??? The only reason this place is busy, is because between them, burger king, and quizno's it's the closest place to get lunch, that's important when you've only got 30 minutes. read more
