I was greeted by a woman who was making someone else's sandwich and was totally fine with waiting. Then, another employee appeared and washed his hands and came to the register with his mask below his nose. I told the employee no thank you and I was disappointed since he is not wearing his mask over his nose. I refuse to eat anywhere that people who work with food are not wearing their masks properly. Holy Gorgonzola Batman! Ordered a full size American Wagyu & Bleu salad and paid a little extra for extra gorgonzola. LMAO! I seriously spooned about half of it into a ziplock to save for a different meal later because it was blue cheese overload! That said, it was delicious! Yum yum yum.... This place is great it's a little bit different than a lot of sandwich places which makes it all that much better. I like to get the turkey sandwich that has the stuffing and cranberry sauce on it. It's fun and comforting to have a sandwich like that whenever you want. I also enjoy getting the soup I usually just get a cup of soup and that is quite a bit of soup. I like the clam chowder a lot I've gone and got their sandwiches and their soup several times sometimes I might get one of their baked goods the cookies are delicious. For events that I have had to cater recently I have ordered individually wrapped sandwiches and they have been a big hit with everyone. read more

It was nice that they had some solid vegan options, but you have to be very specific and very careful with your instructions if you want it truly vegan. The service was friendly and prompt enough, but the environment of the restaurant was very spare and not comfortable or welcoming at all; it was clear that the plan was for customers to get their sandwiches and take them away. The soda fountain had limited choices, like what you might have expected from a fast food place 20 years ago. My biggest complaint was the price: $30 for two medium sandwiches, no sides, no extras. The actual cheesesteak was alright but did not include as much filling as you get at Moochie's, DP Cheesesteaks, or Fat Boy Phillies. The food by itself gets 3.5 stars. The reason I lowered the rating is the staff made me uncomfortable with none of them wearing face masks despite the pandemic. Moreover, the lady at the counter kept interrupting me by yelling responses as I placed my order. (The yelling was due to the loud music). Sadly this place has gone down hill. The service is always great and they're always kind. I had a sandwich messed up by giving me real meat over vegetarian and they quickly remade and credited me. The sandwich was swimming in mayo though, couldn't even eat it. Gave my dad the one with real meat and his was also drenched in mayo. We couldn't eat them. Love the vegetarian and vegan options! They have "veggie turkey" and "veggie chicken" and can easily make sandwiches vegan friendly. I ordered the Cran Slam Club with veggie turkey, onions, and no mayo. It was very filling and delicious. I would recommend getting another layer of cranberries on top to make up for the lack of mayo. Maybe they'll add some vegan mayo and cheese to the menu someday soon :) (Btw, the casier was incredibly helpful and considerate in making sure my order was correct and relaying the info to the kitchen. Me and a few friends went here for lunch today. We have been to the location before and never had any issues. When we walked in, there was no line, we place our order and then had a seat. One of my friends got a salad and it came out pretty quick but had NO MEAT. One of the workers apologized and added meat to her salad. We were sitting there for 30 minutes while two of the workers (there were 3 total) were goofing off. Flipping each other off, slapping each other with bags, and on their cellphones. There was only one man making the sandwiches. The people that came into the shop after us ended up getting their food before us, so we went up to the counter to check. They apologized and stated that it will be out in 3-4 minutes. THEN one of the workers comes over tell us that they were out of the Au Jus sauce for the French Dip that one of my friends had ordered. AFTER 30 MINUTES. We were frustrated because we had to go back to work, so we then asked for a refund. The man told us that since there was not a manager on staff, they will not be able to issue a refund. The man gave my friend a different sandwich that was already made and handed us the other two that were missing. Managment at this location needs to do better. It is one thing if it is busy, but it is another thing when your employees are just goofing off INSTEAD OF DOING THEIR JOB. Why were we not aware that they were out of the Au Jus when it was ordered 30 MINUTES AGO at the counter? If we wouldn't have said anything, how long would it have taken them to come up to us? The fun has arrived in Utah, and we named her Bobbie. Herein lies the East coast sandwich shop that franchised itself to the West and I couldn't be more thrilled. Don't have to pack that bad boy in my purse to enjoy on my flight home, which I do. The location is weird, but I don't really care where they open up shop, as long as the shop is open! I cannot speak to anything but their sandwiches, by my advice would be stick to what they are good for. The Bobbie who should be the centerpiece of the show, it's Thanksgiving on a delectable hoagie roll that I am convinced is shipped in. Shhh, I know it's incredible. You got your stuffing, your turkey, mayo, and cranberry sauce all mashed into that roll. If you want to take the edge off of the calories and add more flavor, skip the mayo and go for extra cranberry - you're welcome. The philly cheesesteaks are awesome! We did not have the trouble with the amount of filling in either of our sandwiches at this location, or at the other locations we visit back in West Chester. The only thing was the hot peppers normally add to the flavor (added on to the philly) but in the last instance it was very hot and almost overpowered the other flavors. This Capriottis location will always have the distinction of being first in the SLC market and the have done the brand proud. This will be my 3rd visit to this location and I work and live an hour away. Bright and modern signage and a lovely faux brick wall greet you on your way to the counter. Team members have been friendly and are always hustling to serve customers. Something new that I haven't experienced at a Caps before, when dining in they serve your sandwich on some pretty sweet plates instead of wrapping it in the traditional sandwich paper. I ate there last Sunday and was forced to ask what happened? I was introduced to this place several months back with much delight. The Bobbie, the Slaw-be-joe, and the Capastrami have delighted me in the past. But things have changed recently. One time our order took 45 minutes to complete and was lacking. But maybe it was an off day. Then comes last Sunday. Their signature sandwich, The Bobbie, seemed less signature and more like the initials after scribbling out an error on your mortgage agreement. It was the same ingredients but not well prepared. It seems The Bobbie renamed itself to Roberta and surrendered its perkiness for a stale goth taste. I don't get it. I will likely return for one more shot in the future, but if the trend continues, I may have to conclude this place followed George Lucas's descent without the hope of having Disney rescue them. read more

That's even more exciting when you're in a new town (moved to Salt Lake area last Nov.), and with covid restrictions and hazards all about us, we haven't been out much but we try to support local businesses. I found Capriotti's Sandwich Shop close by. They have 3-4 veg-friendly sammie options on the menu.. but they are not vegan. So I ordered a modified version of one of each to give Cappriotti's a try. One full Impossible Cheese Steak (17.00), 1/2 of a Veggie Chicken Cheesesteak(7.99), and 1/2 a Veggie Turkey Sub(6.99) - all without cheese or mayo. They normally come with Provolone cheese. When they arrived by delivery I put vegan Provolone on them and nuked them for a minute or so. I gotta tell you, the bread rolls were fresh and tasty, the vegan "meats" Impossible, chicken, and turkey were just excellent. I truly encourage Cappriotti's to offer a vegan cheese to make these vegan, because they are delicious. I'll order from them again for sure and as soon as the covid menace is behind us, I'll cya there sometime! read more

They charge you an extra 25% on your order to pickup at the store. So by ordering I paid $12.99 for the same sub that they charge $9.79 in the store. When I asked the counter lady, she told me that is how they do business. Going to report the scam to the better business bureau for false statement. read more

This is the best sub sandwich I have ever had the roast beef was amazing. If they had one of these in Memphis Tennessee I'd weigh about 900 pounds I can eat the steak three times a day and my God it was delicious. Don't waste your time with any other sub sandwich place these guys are the best!!!! They were great to work with when one of the delivery services went to the wrong place and never delivered my sandwich the manager bent over backwards to help me and to make sure I got another one out there. He also made sure that the new driver knew that I was a truck driver and I was at the truckstop not an apartment or a house and to make sure he put it in my hand and not dropped it anywhere.
