I buy most of my guns from this shop. In my experience the staff is always genuinely pleasant to deal with. They have a pretty great selection on guns, sometimes you'll get lucky and find a rare one. They also have sales often which makes its it easier to pull the trigger (boom gun pun). The only thing this place is missing is ammo! Otherwise a great all around pawn shop. read more

Went today to central mega pawn looking to spend money, but the manager here gives off weird energy and just stares at people and doesn't even greet you when you walk in, he makes comments of his own employees and just makes them feel dumb... this makes it a weird atmosphere for me... The lack of customer service when I entered--no greeting, no offer to help, just an overall unwelcoming vibe. I am just writing this review in hopes that the New GM will see this review and correct his employee at the sister shop called Azusa Mega Pawn! Employee Phil is super rude and hateful to customers and acts like he does not need to help customers out in line he acts like we are all below him. I have done business with central over 10 years and Azusa 5 years i know the former Owner Scott and his sons i know his sister and brother used to run Azusa Pawn so i like to think i am a great customer over the years. I recently bought a rifle at Azusa went to pickup was told it's not their fault they lost my rifle bag and magazines and that they do not need to replace anything that's missing upon pickup i was given a cheap rifle bag and was told be happy we gave you something for nothing no magazines or store credit was issued only attitude from Phil. I have seen him treat his coworkers like garbage and still has gainful employment. Now the new GM Desmond needs to step in and do something as this is horrible customer service and i have to say Desmond has changed both shops from looking like old rags to a pretty open floor plan and bright inside vs looking dirty and dull. I will say until something changes at Azusa with attitude do not shop do not spend a dime as they know we are usually down on our luck when we come in so no need to treat us like crap just because you can. On a bigger note i must say i love workers like Nemesis as she came in today and clocked in went straight to work helping customers not waiting around and loafing around also she gets strait to point when giving loan prices or buy prices she is usually around 30-50 percent of items value obviously depending on items value and how many in stock they have. I will say Desmond needs to whip the online and app guy or girl into shape as they are missing out on Gunbroker sales and the app is not updated so thats double revenue loss and i must say Central has a great collection of firearms thats not posted online or on the app. One recommendation i would like to see is a gun only line for customers who want to buy and Dros firearms separate from pawn customers as firearm transactions take place 15 mins 30 mins minimum per customer. Just to throw it out there Javi i do believe helped me with a gun purchase is a great attitude guy and very pleasant to deal with. I would really appreciate it if this business updated the signage at their store and online to reflect the fact that their employees do not (not a single one) wear masks, and that masks are unenforced for customers and there is no social distancing in place here. I don't know if they're legally supposed to enforce masks or not, but at this point a simple mask policy is very standard in this area and I think a lot of people expect it, so they should correctly inform customers that they aren't using masks. I saw another review and management response that said they are allowing everyone to make the choice to wear a mask or not. Unfortunately, wearing a mask protects the people around you and I was not able to make an informed choice about entering this establishment because they are misleading people about their policies. Stay true to your word and give people the correct information they need to freely decide how they feel about entering a maskless establishment. However, per advice, I took the diamond earrings back to Costco and received a refund for $750 versus the $50 Bruce offered for Princess Cut 0.50 ctw VS2 Clarity, I Color Diamond 14kt White Gold Stud. The low star rating is for the employee who offered to help me before Bruce arrived and then "ghosted" for like 5-10 minutes walking around with a laptop. Prior to that, I sent in photos of the items I needed to pawn sent over pics over text no response.
