Oh man, what do I say about this place that other reviewers haven't said it already? Anyway, went to Cabo a couple weeks ago and the tour guide recommended a Mariscos restaurant right next to the beach. I thought nothing of it as I've been to many other type of restaurants here in LA. All restaurants are the same, blah blah. I was completely blown away by the aguachile and I knew I needed to find something similar here. I loved it at Cabo because, the shrimp was 'raw' marinated with lime but still 'raw' I tried Vallarta and it was a huge disappointment. One day doom scrolling on Yelp and I found this place. Couldn't wait, had to give it a try and I nearly cried. Whenever food tastes amazing, I always clap because I'm applauding the chef. I'm applauding the food and I couldn't clap this time because I didn't want to put down the food. I got the medium sized aguachile, a pescado taco and a camaron taco. The flavor in the shrimp taco was unbelievable. The batter was so soft yet, crispy and the cabbage with the dressing was spot on! Next time, I'm definitely ordering 2 of each. The fish taco was super flaky, seasoned. Amazing. The aguachile, I regret getting the medium, I should've went all the way to large. Extra large if I could. Don't get me wrong, the portions are huge. I'm by myself and I made the aguachile last for 3 days. I would've eaten it in one sitting but, I have jaw issues and I couldn't continue. The tostadas they provided was amazing. I'm said there was no avocado but, luckily I had some at home. Even tho the shrimp was raw, it was juicy and delicious. The service was amazing as well. Workers inside the truck were so nice, offered a chair under a tree because it was sprinkling lightly lol. Anyways, I'm gonna go back this week and next week cause I can't stop thinking about it. Literally the freshest seafood ceviche I've ever had. It's so so delicious! We love the pescado and the mixto ceviche. So fresh, citrusy and absolutely amazing. Portions are significant and prices are fair for quality. The service was friendly and helpful. You can tell they love food and want to present the freshest ingredients to their customers. I've been to many Mariscos spots and I've also been to a few other Mariscos food trucks. What separates this food truck is it's simplicity & dedication to taste. The owners family is from Sinaloa which is the seafood capital of Mexico. All recipes are authentic, delicious & tasty! My favorite is the aguachile. Aguachile from other places is left too long in juices were it ruins the texture of the shrimp. Most importantly, all the ingredients are fresh. El muchacho is the go to spot, at least for me. I'm always on the lookout for the best tasting aguachiles and their aguachiles do not disappoint. The shrimp are submerged in savory liquid seasoning with chili, lime juice, salt, pepper, slices of cucumber and slices of onion. In my honest review this food truck Is honestly the most organized and clean location they gentleman who took our order are very polite and helpful they took our order very quickly which is rare in the food industry . This location has proper seating and also tent's for all types of weather . Seriously the best mariscos! I've tried the aguachile, ceviche, quesadillas, and tacos and I can honestly say I recommend all of it! It really hits the spot. I've even had the michelada mix and it's great too - not too much Clamato and a really good blend of spiciness. It's so good! Really anything on the menu will hit the spot. The mariscos are good quality, not tiny little pieces like at other places but always plump pieces so you can really taste it and the amount of mariscos you get per plate is a lot. Everything is so flavorful! I've always had a good experience when I visit the truck too. They have banda playing from a large speaker and a canopy with tables and chairs so you can sit and enjoy the vibe. Such a chill place with amazingly good food.
