They require a card on file while dining (supposedly lots of dine and dashes before) and there's a 1% service fee. I thought they had combos before but all the seafood is by the lb. We were recommended not to take the drunken special sauce so we opted for all-3 which was perfect! We got snow crab legs, shrimp and clams with the corn, potatoes and sausage and were stuffed! Service is not great either, they treat their guests like CRIMINALS and make you put down your ID or credit card for a pound of shrimp, not the ambiance i'm going for. My favorite shrimp place in the SFV! Hands down. The decor is so cute. They have plenty of TVs and a full bar. We came during lunch right when it opened. The gentleman at the host desk informed us about their card policy. Which means you either need to leave your ID or a credit/-debit card before you can order your food. This is the first time I've encountered this at any restaurant but I can only imagine the amount of "dine and dashers" they have had to deal with before implementing this rule....soooo I'm not mad at it. It was pretty quiet. Except for the music that was playing in the background. The music was not too loud, which I appreciated very much. Our server's name was Jaclyn. She was very nice. Very professional. Non wonder she was one of the employees of the month. ;) My daughter and I ordered the head on shrimp. With all three sauces, mild. We also ordered calamari and a side of jasmine rice. I've ordered the calamari before. And it's always been great, but today the calamari was very tiny. Good flavor but I felt the portion was pretty small considering the price. I also enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with it very much. Shrimp was cooked to perfection not overcooked at all. The sauce was finger licking good with the perfect amount of spice. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. All the workers were super sweet & helpful. The wait is a bit long if you go during rush hour but honestly not more than 20 min & they have seats for you to wait comfortably which I loved. Also they got beer and margaritas to complement your meal. They also got some great appetizers; the calamari is a good choice, but my favorite are the wings. Let me tell you, boy, these are better than that local chain down the street, Stopwing? You know what I mean. These wings smack hard! I love the whole theme and atmosphere here; everyone is so nice, and the tables are covered in a white paper-type of thing that the kids can draw on. They are giving crayons, and they go crazy. Good kids menu as well; they do have non-seafood options for them like nuggets and mac and cheese. Wait times can be a pain, though, and they do have this weird policy that they must hold a credit card. Guess too many dine-and-dashers have occurred here. It's okay, not a big deal, and they let you use whatever card you want at the end. I came for my birthday, and they gave me ice cream with a candle and a crab decoration; it was kind. Love coming to the drunken crab, I stop here probably 2 times a month when in the valley I drive from the AV which is 60 miles away for this deliciousness. Our server Edwin went above and beyond and i must say, I am very impressed on how attentive and knowledgeable he is. he is extremely helpful. We ordered the peeled shrimp Louisiana style all 3 sauces , calamari, fish and chips and strips for my kiddo. Everything came out so hot and fresh. the sauce is one of the best! Went here for the first time with my fiancée and her family. Not having tried many seafood/cajun places before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm happy to say I was amazingly pleased! The fish and chips that I had were nice and crispy with the thick batter on the cod, and the Cajun fries had a balanced amount of spicy and savory seasoning. Ambiance was chill with a wide open layout that was welcoming. There were lots of TV monitors showing sports as well. Service from Mache was stellar!
