Good theater with big seats. Solid experience for regular matinee viewings. Unfortunately I've had several bad experiences with their one night specialty showings. They left the lights on during the first 30 minutes of Episode III. I went and saw that stupid Megalopolis movie opening day and no one from the staff asked Adam Driver the question out loud at that one part. My poor heart can't take that kind of disappointment again. My go to matinee theater though! read more

Neutral place to see a movie. Lobby has a kind of retro café vibe. It's clean, and discount Tuesday prices, especially matinee, is the real gem. Seats do recline! As with any cinema in 2026, prices (outside Tuesdays) for tickets and snacks are...quite steep. Drink selection is an analog Coca Cola press-style fountain and red/blue icee, along with coffee, beers and simple mixed drinks. Sometimes the line bottlenecks at the door where the attendant checks everyone's tickets. Gendered restrooms are at the far left and right of the lobby. Overall not a bad experience. read more

What surprised me was that Hubby & i were able to see a movie @ 8:30 AM on the day after Christmas. We saw Song Sung Blue. We absolutely loved it. I usually buy the popcorn & a soda. This is a smaller theater, but it does have v. comfortable reclining leatherette seats. Most of the individual theaters are on the smaller cozier side (8-10 rows) but there are 2 Larger auditorium theaters. Theater is kept very clean, great place to view movies read more

I watched a movie here at the Century 10 Downtown last night for the first time. Overall, it was a pretty good viewing experience. I had purchased my tickets online because of the convenience even though there was an extra on my ticket and charge, but that saved me to having to go in earlier to buy the ticket. The main lobby area is pretty impressive since has very tall ceilings and there is a staircase that you walk up in the front first and then you have the concession stand right there. Then the theaters are split by theater numbers on the left and to the right. The auditorium that I was in had reclining chairs so that was pleasant and comfortable. Similarly to what most theaters are doing now too is that it was reserved seating so I was able to stroll up minutes prior to the movie starting. There is a parking lot in the back. Unfortunately, when I got there it was full already so I had to park on the street. There is metered parking on the streets and it ends at 9 PM. So I didn't have to pay too much for actual parking. This is a great place to catch a movie especially if you're in the downtown Ventura area. read more

Small movie theater but it's comfortable! Their customer service is not really cordial, but at least they aren't rude. Most of the times when my family go and watch a movie we chose to go during the morning which is usually empty. It's kept clean and the seats are really comfortable! I like that they are recliners and I can stretch my legs and be extra comfortable while watching a movie. Their popcorn is good, nothing particularly special but good. Their ICEE is also good. They have snacks, soft drinks, wine and other drinks. I wanted a tea since it was a cold morning today, but they hadn't opened their bar area yet, so I couldn't get one. This review is not for the quality of the seats or the sound system or the visual quality, but for something that is becoming very annoying. The advertised start time. Now, I know all cinemas show coming attractions (as they should), and I know many of them are showing more than they should these days, but this is the worst I've experienced. Three trailers is about right. Five trailers is on the far end of almost excessive, but ok. Tuesday morning I stopped counting during the screening. I kid you not - these things went on for twenty-eight minutes! Sometimes they paused them to show a commercial, then back to more trailers. Finally, about twenty minutes in, they showed an advertisement which said at the end, "and now - it's showtime!" Guess what they showed after that - yes, another commercial! I was risking running late for an appointment because I scheduled it out the best I could based on estimations from past experiences, but this was ridiculous even by those standards. The 9:55 film started at 10:23! Stop! read more

Century 10 is a great spot to catch a movie. Starting with it's comfortable reclining chairs. You literally put your feet up while watching the movie. The concession stand is fully stocked with all the usual movie snacks as well as beer and wine. Every time I've been to the theatre it's been clean and well maintained. If I could give zero stars I would. Came to watch Scary movie today June 18 and the audio wasn't working having issues. Mentioned to theater staff and they said it would be "fixed" keep in mind it was not busy and there were about 4 to 5 employees. After the first few minutes the audio came back and was good for about 20 minutes but then the issue occurred again. This time we were over it. We had been there for an hour (30 minutes of previews and commercials and then they rest being the movie). Went to the front to request our refund and were told no. Only vouchers for a future movie. So we wasted our time coming to the movies and we couldn't even get our refund and only vouchers to a future visit. Even though I am not planning on coming back to this disappointment establishment. Save your money and go to Edward's cinema instead. Very disappointing with "management" nothing we can do but give you this piece of paper for a future visit. read more

Yesterday evening I was at the register and the lady with dark make up and many piercings was super hospitable and really helpful. I didn't know how to use the cinemark app until she noticed and immediately helped me figure it out. Not only did she help, but she was very kind while doing it. Cinemark, I did you dirty leaving this angry review up so long! This has become one of my favorite movie theaters, especially since the Regency in Camarillo closed. I love the recliners! Popcorn is fresh and the employees are heavy-handed with the butter when you ask them to be. I do wish you showed more small movies and/or kept them onscreen a bit longer, but I also get that the modern business model is Marvel on half the screens, animation on the rest. Glad to report that audience behavior has significantly improved in the last decade too. read more

The staff at this theater is always lovely and kind. They make you feel at home when so many people don't venture out to theaters any more due to streaming services. **It was my 80 year old mom's first time in theater since 2020/Covid, and she felt comfortable enough to plan another theater outing in the near future!** The reclining seats are comfortable, popcorn fresh, tried the French fries for first time and pleasantly surprised. On the day my gf and I went to see an opening of a movie we booked our seats in advance. However, our seats were double booked by another party. Needless to say we were disappointed. Charlie the manager on duty that day was to the rescue! Above and beyond customer service. I love this theater! It's cozy, clean, and who doesn't love recliner seats? I like that you can get your tickets online and reserve your seat ahead of time. It makes the process so much easier. I got the Cinemark movie club pass solely based on how happy I was with the experience at this theater. Concessions have always been good. Love the fresh popcorn and extra cold drinks every time I go in. I enjoy that this location is on Main Street on downtown which makes it perfect for a date night; you can go grab dinner & drinks before or after your showtime. Parking at the nearby parking structure makes it less of a pain than trying to find street parking. read more

Ahh the movies!! Great place to catch the latest movies in the heart of beautiful Downtown Ventura. I love this movie theater, very clean, friendly staff and fantastic seats. We watched Kung Fu Panda 4 and we all had a great time. The popcorn was fresh and the red Icee was tasty. The seats are very dirty every time I go. The popcorn is also very stale. Movie theaters are also very warm, even at night.

I absolutely love coming to this cinemark location! I love the reclining seats! I always come to this theater on opening week for movies I want to see. I recently came to see Saw X. They also always have a full stock on all snacks. I do wish they still did the free refill on large popcorn, but I know its a cinemark policy now. The staff are also always friendly! Parking can get a but full but they do have lots of free parking available. I also am a movie club member and come very often. On Tuesdays they also have special discounts on tickets. read more

I'm not a movie theater person however if there is any movie I have to see in the movie theater I always come here. I love the seating it's so nice you can reserve the exact seats to sit in. The people working there are so nice. I always get popcorn and maybe this is my only complaint. The popcorn was not the freshest. The kernels were tiny all broken and made for a very messy fingers. I love the reclining seats and that they sell beer on tap. The theater itself was nice and clean the floors weren't sticky. I arranged to meet someone at this theater to see a movie, first time since covid. We were so excited to go see a film we had been looking forward to, got there early and parked. We walked up to the ticket window and a young woman was sitting there whose job it was to sell us tickets was on the phone chatting away quietly absorbed in some kind of personal conversation. We indicated that we needed to buy tickets because the movie was about to start, and she just continued talking on the phone ignoring us standing there. I went inside to ask another young woman to help us, so we could get to the movie on time, and she went to tell the other young woman to get off the phone because someone had complained. The ticket window person now got off the phone and directly asked me if I had complained about her being on the phone. To which I said could we buy our tickets now please? But she clearly wanted to start an argument or a fight, so I walked away and asked for a manager, who finally showed up and sold us two tickets. But he did not reprimand her or fire her on the spot, so it is clearly part of their policy to treat paying customers the way that she had. This kind of toxic atmosphere directed at the public is just exactly what should not get supported in local businesses. We were finally so offended that we left and didn't go back to see the movie. An unbelievable way to treat people. I highly recommend not supporting this business. read more

I love this little downtown movie theater, it's located walking distance from my home so that of course makes it at least 4 stars based on convenience. The people who work here are friendly. If you see at least 1 movie a month you would save money by joining the movie club because it will waive online fees for booking ahead and also give you a discount on snacks. If go you go less than once a month, or if you aren't buying additional tickets for friends and family members you probably won't save by joining the club I love the recliner seats. Free parking is quite close by, either behind the library and the theater or across the street in the covered parking structure. On my wish list are only 2 things: I wish on discount Tuesday (and really simply every day) there were more movies earlier in the day. When I lived in Kern county there were movies available at multiple theaters starting as early as 10:30am, around here there is often nothing any earlier than 4:30 pm. Phooey. And second, I wish they could add coffee to the snack bar. I know, I know, if you're not gonna have movies any earlier than 4:00pm why would you sell coffee? I dunno, I just love the combo of popcorn and coffee and many of the theaters in Santa Clarita and further south in LA started offering it. Otherwise - this place is great! read more

This is my favorite movie theater in the area, for many reasons. First and foremost the comfortable seats! When they redesigned the interior a while back I was literally so impressed I quit going to most all other movie theaters, and every time I tried some of the new theaters in the area I always went right back to Century 10 and was so grateful that this theater is in Ventura, because a lot of these new theaters just really suck in comparison! Century 10 now has more comfortable seats than ALL the other theaters, they're wide and cozy and recline. They also have much better food options, and better drinks. They serve alcohol, and they have coffee like starbucks. They have some of the best hot dogs and popcorn, they have pizza and lots of candy, even bulk candy. They also have the movie club so you can get discounts on the food, candy, drinks, admission and earn free tickets, and 1 free ticket per month is awesome! I love this theater, and it's right on Main street, so it's so perfect for "Date night" because you can go out to eat, get a movie and after go get a drink and walk down to the beach. It's just in the most perfect spot. Love it! read more

Century 10 is a pretty modern movie theatre with leather reclined seats and very competitive prices. It's a smaller theater so don't expect to see many movies last there for multiple weeks. I would highly recommend booking tickets in advance because the showrooms are pretty small. I usually like to book the last 3 rows to avoid being too close to the screen, and those usually get booked pretty quickly during prime time hours. read more

I'm glad for this local theater that is within walking distance of home. It's very convenient! What I don't like are the reclining seats that are incredibly uncomfortable in the upright position and the blinding light panel around the controls that I have to hold my hand over so I can watch my movie. Shame on Cinemark Theaters for carrying Coca-Cola products as the only choice for beverages. Options are needed, especially in light of Coca-Cola's openly political discrimination against the state of Georgia. I will not purchase a Coca-Cola product and, since there are no other choices to wash down food with, I sadly cannot purchase anything to eat as a result. Theaters rely on their concession sales but this chain is determined to hurt itself in this regard. read more

Free parking is sometimes available behind the theatre or in the parking garage across the street. You can cut through Fox jewelry to access. Special pricing is available for matinees and some weekdays, with reserved seating thru fandango. The popcorn is good and service is friendly. We go at odd times so it isn't crowded for us. Big clean bathrooms, and nice small local movie place right on Main Street. read more
