Made a party reservation for yesterday. Brought in my kids and everything seemed great. Went to go order pizza for everyone and was told all the pizza dough was frozen...please wait an hour. Waited over an hour and was told dough still wasn't ready. Guy said I should just have someone else deliver it and ask the counter as they would understand the situation. Went to the counter to ask and talked to a young blonde who rudely stated " we have other food." I have kids who wanted pizza and I'm not going to spend a fortune on other food items. She said no, she isn't allowed to once I stated, the kids wanted pizza. We finished our our game and just left. This was my first and LAST time we will be there. I had way many kids and people to feed and waited over an hour for nothing. read more

I decided to come watch my friends bowl the City tournament (March 6, 2022) and I just felt uncomfortable the man the counter was so mean. No conversation, no smile, no enthusiasm at all. I decided to cash in a $50 lottery ticket to play club keno. Mind you I'm cashing the ticket to play more games so I'm essential bringing more business. When he saw the ticket he immediately said to me "we can't cash that" I been playing lottery for year and if there's a machine I'm sure you can cash any ticket up to $500. I went to play a second ticket again no enthusiasm at all again. I spoke when I first walked in he didn't speak or nothing. It looked like I bothered him just feels like I stepped into a sundown town in the 1950's geez. I hate to say that comments like that but it was the look for me of "you don't belong here" he could have had a bad day granted but your at work leave your bad day at door. If this is your best staff member I'll be the first to say I am not impressed customer service skills are horrible. He needs a lesson in customer service very bad. I thought it was just me but my friend told me "no it's not you he threw my change on the counter" after this I'll be the first to say I'll never return. Went bowling with some friends, not a pleasant night. The way they have the tables set up you are FORCED to sit with strangers also you share the monitor to load your teams name. Not to mention that if your foot BARELY touches the line the pins you knocked down dont count. WORSE night ever. Will not be returning. read more

Awful. Guy at the desk was rude and highly unprofessional. Was obviously put off by the rather large group we brought. Sorry about bringing business guy. Never asked if we needed shoes, charged us for them, made it seem like it was my fault for not saying I didn't need shoes. Asked my friend if she was a man or a woman and said he "doesn't want to assume nowadays" which I guess i get, but I mean come one. You don't say that. The lanes were terrible also. Didn't work properly. Kept having to fix scores. All around horrible experience and I will never be going back. There are plenty of other bowling alleys in the area with a staff that is welcoming, friends, and at least act like they have an ounce of respect for the customers and the business. Maybe B-Squad, or even D-squad just work on Sunday nights. Either way. I wouldn't bother wasting your time. Go somewhere else. read more

i've bowled at century off and on for years. i took my bowling class here years ago and most recently i have started bowling on a league. at first coming to a bowling alley with 'regulars' is sort of intimidating, but once you are here a few times you start to feel at home. everyone is really nice and helpful. the waitresses are nice and will offer to bring your drinks out to you at your lane. their shoe prices are sort of high at $2.79 a pair. so if you are going to be bowling often you are better off getting your own pair. they are always having specials so be sure to check out the website or call for prices. read more

I'm part of the big brother big sister program, and decided for a fun outing that we would go bowling. I chose this bowling alley primarily because it was convent To her house, perhaps I should have drove a lil further... When you first walk in there is an overwhelming bad smell, but we were already there and didn't feel like searching for another place. My little sister and I begin to bowl and the scoring on the machine was all messed up and not working properly, and on one of the games we played they cut me off before I could finish my last frame. On top of all that, the service at the concession line was extremely slow. The only up side to this place is the fact that the staff are very friendly. Overall this place is not clean and over priced, I would go somewhere else! read more

We come here a few times a year to go bowling. Staff always seems pretty nice. The bowling lanes appear to be using modern scoring screens that make everything easy. We have not tried the food as of yet. Will keep returning! read more

Not bad! We got right in for open bowl, after checking other places. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The lanes are decent and the bathroom was clean. :) Didn't try the food, but everyone else was eating! We'd go back if in town. read more

Lady manager is a complete liar!!! 15 yr old lost an AirPod on Monday February 3rd. Son calls three times mon-wed to see if found or turned in. On Thursday he is told they have it. He tells them he will pick up on Sunday. He goes in and is told they no longer have it. I go in and get fed a pile of lies. After about 3 lies from the lady, I told her she was an effing liar!!! My kid is at fault for losing it but century bowl is mistrustful thieves... they should have just lied to my son upfront and said they didn't have it!!! But after dealing with the lady, I can see why there is other 1 star reviews and people singling her out!!! read more

I used to come here all the time when I was younger. The staff was kind and the food was amazing. Hanging out friends at the bowling alley was one of the best memories I had as a kid. Now going there it feels different the staff has changed and they are very rude. And the food is awful now. I'm not sure what happened besides the fact that maybe management has changed (I'm not sure if that's true) but hopefully things will change. I used to love this place and now it's not as fun. read more

I wanted to give this place a good review due to it's funny messages on the sign outside that have made Internet fame, but as a local my most recent visit prompted me to give a poor review, for reasons below: 1. The staff was very unfriendly. I ordered a pitcher of some fine Miller Lite and was lectured for 5 whole minutes about redistribution of my drink to minors. I'm aware I break the law if I give alcohol to minors, I don't need to be treated like I'm 12. 2. I left to grab my phone charger when I was halfway done with said pitcher for 5 minutes, and that's apparently the amount of time to get your alcohol privileges revoked at this place. My pitcher was taken from my table by the staff for no discernable reason and I paid 10 U.S. dollars that were hard earned for that crisp Miller Lite. Despicable. I normally think of bowling alleys as very chill places, but that was not the case at this venue. This aggression will not stand man. read more

Great bowling alley. The people are very nice here and my kids had a great time. It's in a good location and easy to make a reservation for a lane. The computerized scoring is very outdated, but it's still easy to use and keep score automatically. read more

I had my wedding after-party here on October 1, in an effort to recreate our first date (which consisted of seeing a show at Starlight Theater across the street - where we had our ceremony - and bowling afterward). My husband and I came in a few months ahead of time, and we were very anxious about whether we would be able to do what we wanted here and what our cost would be. Everyone we spoke with at Century Bowl was super accommodating leading up to the big day. We reserved a few lanes several months in advance, starting with a smaller headcount, and arranged to bring in donuts and have the venue grab cider, for which we would reimburse them. We were planning everything from Chicago, which was frustrating in some ways, but every time we came in to Century Bowl, we left smiling. On the day of the wedding, we had worked out a photo shoot, so we could come in at 2pm and take some group shots with the cosmic bowling lighting. That didn't end up happening, which I was fine with, but it was great that they were willing to do that for us. We had scheduled our lanes to start at 10, though most people arrived closer to 11, and my husband and I didn't make it until well after that. We had a good number of people bowling, and others drinking or mingling, and I'm sure we were somewhat disruptive, but no one complained about us. We kept the bartender pretty busy, and the last of our group left about half an hour after last call and the lights coming up, as we tried to help clean up a bit. Our ultimate cost to use the venue was very low - we were able to work out that each person would pay for their own games and shoes, at a slightly discounted rate for the larger group, so all we paid was the cost of the cider and donuts, and shoes and Cosmic Bowling for two. My uncle broke his ankle about halfway through the reception when he went outside to smoke and kept partying with us until 1:30am, so I think it was a pretty good party. We were able to serve our donuts and cider at Century Bowl, and everyone was having a lovely time. I was just so, so pleased with how the evening turned out.
