I called Cenwood-Nashville today. Before we went to look for a wall oven I wanted to see if they delivered .We're about 1 hour and 10minutes from there. I got transferred to two different people, the second one promised to get me an answer before the store closed. Still waiting for an answer. I've never written a bad review for any place because I like to focus on the positive. This is my first bad review.. you can verify this on my profile. Anyways, we purchased about $29k worth of appliances. Jenn air panel ready refrigerator, panel ready dishwasher, beverage/ wine refrigerator and range. High end appliances. We ordered in April and was told no issues and delays with Jenn air,, so we were excited. Our new home was supposed to be finished September. We had to keep reaching out to make sure we were on schedule. We then were told end of august the range would be delayed. They said first week of October- great, no problem because our home was delayed too. Anyways, we were scheduled on a Wednesday and they said range comes Friday. No worries again. Then Monday came and no news. They said oops! It's now delayed until April 2023. I truly felt like they lied and accidentally or purposefully sold it to someone else. How could it be delivered and then magically delayed that long? Second their install guys that did our refrigerator and dishwasher didn't even know what they were doing. They had to keep calling for help. And my husband had to help them. Like high end appliances shouldn't this way. Our dishwasher leaks because of poor install and the install guys threw away our toe kick. Our refrigerator was installed incorrectly. They were supposed to come fix- but never showed up. I could go on and on but you get the point. So much runaround. It's been 7 weeks and still missing items and improperly installed appliances. DO NOT BUY HERE. They simply do not care!!! After moving to Nashville four years ago and building a new House, we wanted upscale appliances in our new and forever home. The Builder gave us an allowance at Cenwood which we overspent by nearly 14K. Our built in Monogram refrigerator has shifted and we had contacted Cenwood initially 3mos ago only to be given a total run around. They will finally re-install the unit at the end of the month, hopefully. With this being a new community we do have the pulse of our neighbors and would recommend shopping around and asking service questions, especially for the future. We have a kitchen of all GE Monogram appliances, have had them serviced by GE and GE has pointed to the installation never the mechanics. 2 weeks understandable but not 4 months read more

Memphis I also will not use them again. I have purchased 2 ranges. The first cost about $8000 which lasted 14 years and the latest cost $11,000+. I signed a contract for the cost, it took 3 weeks to arrive to their showroom, and I got a call that they had misquoted the installation cost from $175 to $375 dollars. I could not get the stove unless I agreed to pay the additional $200 (pretty poor customer service on a $11,000 purchase). My only choice was to get a refund (after having no stove for over a month - actually longer since I took time to find the one I wanted). Again, Never again. read more

I'll start with the conclusion- I will never buy from Cenwood again, and I will tell everyone I know to avoid doing business with them. I have never seen any company with such an appalling lack of customer service. I placed a large order for kitchen, laundry, and guest house appliances in December 2020, and paid in full. At that time, we had a "March-May" home completion window, and the delivery schedule we were given at the time of the order showed all items shipping before the end of May. As the dates got nearer, the contractor reached out to confirm install times, and eventually our sales rep (Vicky) would respond with new dates- weeks or months further out. This same pattern has continued right up to the present - after many calls from the builder, a delivery date for a part of the order would be confirmed by Cenwood, only for it to be blown. NEVER were we informed by Vicky (or anyone else at Cenwood) that they would miss the delivery date. We only found out when the foreman called them to confirm the specific time the next day. and was told then that there would be no delivery. This has happened multiple times for multiple pieces of the order. It is now September 9, and we still don't have our Sub-Zero refrigerator, freezer, range hood, speed-oven, or dishwasher. I know that supply chains are stretched, manufacturers are backordered, and there are long lead times for many products, but the complete lack of any communications by Cenwood is unacceptable, and in my experience, unique to them. Other vendors, equally stressed, have emailed (or called), explained the situation, the reasons for the delay, and offered alternatives where available. Where there were no acceptable alternatives, they made sure to update us as soon as they learned any new information. Cenwood, in contrast, has never proactively reached out to give ANY information. When the delivery last Friday didn't have the freezer it was supposed to, we contacted Vicky to find out where it was. She stated she was in Iceland and passed the question off to someone else. We contacted that person and they had no idea what we were talking about Another time, after yet another missed delivery, I called Vicky to get an explanation, and received a "this mailbox is full, and can't accept any more voicemail messages. Goodbye". That about sums up their customer service. read more

We bought an entire kitchen from Cenwood last year and our refrigerator broke in August of this year - only 9 months later. It's almost November and the situation has not been resolved. They refuse to give us a new fridge, sent someone to fix this one and it broke again. SO much food ruined, so much time spent in a pandemic trying to fix this very expensive piece of equipment that's less than a year old. We are so frustrated and bummed. read more

Cenwood delivered a fridge to my new construction home the day following closing. During installation, several thousand dollars of damage was done to my wood floor. In addition to the damaged floor, the delivery crew didn't confirm that they had correctly installed the water filter. Several hours later water started pooling on the new hardwood floor due to filter not being properly seated. More than 6 months later with no support from Cenwood their insurance company issued a check to cover damage. People are human and mistakes happen, but I am extremely disappointed in how Cenwood's President handled the situation. All I did was pay full price for a high-end fridge, and he didn't feel compelled to return emails, phone calls or give me a partial refund for the inconvenience . Now my wife and I along with 2 large dogs need to vacate the house for 4 days while repair work is completed. Worst retail purchase experience of my life. read more

I've never written a yelp review, or even a retail review in my life. I need to tell my story because I have never experienced a more frustrating or unprofessional purchase experience in my life. I am working on finishing a studio workspace behind my house with a small kitchen. I went to Cenwood (based on my interior designer's suggestion) to buy an under counter fridge, convection microwave and small dishwasher. I ordered the appliances several months ago. Before the (first attempted) delivery/install of the appliances, Cenwood did prep us on what the electrical requirements would be and what the measurements were. Well, they were wrong about the convection microwave both on the location of where the outlet should be, and the type of power required. The installation guys told me they'd never seen this type of plug before. Is this really what they do for a living? Fine, I'll get my electrical guy back to move the plug and convert it to a 20amp plug (thanks for letting us know). They did attempt to install the dishwasher that day, but they weren't able because they neglected to tell us that we would need to build a base to lift this particular dishwasher higher to meet the counter height of the other appliances. Fine, I'll get my wood guy back to build a base to raise the dishwasher to meet counter height (thanks again for letting us know, Cenwood). But at least the crazy expensive under counter fridge was installed. Then the ice maker in the fridge never started working. So I called my plumber to come back to double check the work Cenwood did on the water line they installed under the sink. Looks like water is running to the fridge. But now the service light is on inside fridge on the display. And then the display quit working. So my interior designer got in contact with the service manager at Cenwood. She then gave me the service manager's number and email and suggested I contact her. Well, I called (voicemail) and then emailed (no response). Three weeks went by and then my interior designer contacted Cenwood again. Then the service manager called me and claimed that she had been trying to contact me. I said, what number have you been calling? They had not called me. I thought the customer was supposed to always be right. Well, not at this company. Then they did send out a service guy. He confirmed that the electronics were bad in my fridge, and that was likely why the ice maker was never working. He ordered the parts (and I am still waiting). Meanwhile Cenwood scheduled a day to come and finally install the microwave (now that the appropriate plug is installed). That was supposed to be this previous Monday. I was in the studio working all day and waiting for a call or someone from Cenwood to show up. My designer called in the late afternoon to ask if they ever showed up, and I said I didn't hear or see anyone. She said they called her to say they tried to call me and knocked on my door and didn't get a response. Well, no one called me, or left a message. And I didn't hear anyone trying to find me in the studio (I was there all day). Maybe they went to the front door at my house instead? But this is the third time they've been at my place attempting to install these appliances. Even if it was not the same guys, shouldn't they have a note or something that the appliances they are to install are for the building behind the house? (But this is giving them credit that they showed up). Oh, I forgot to mention the wood on the cabinet was damaged next to where the dishwasher was installed. It's not a big deal to me, but I wish the installers would have at least mentioned it, and offered to repair the blemish (least of my concerns at this point). Anyway, I can't wait to be done dealing with this company. If you have another option of where to buy your appliances, I suggest anywhere else. read more

My parents recently got new appliances from this appliance store and I happened to stop in upon installation.They had to come back several times to complete services and that is fine. The lead installer was on his phone with someone and don't think it was work related for a majority of the time. The other guy looked as if it was his first install and my parents electrician had to help him with his install do to the fact that the lead installer was on the phone with what appears to be his dad.. As stated before they had to come back several times to get it right which is fine..... But the worst part was when I heard what appeared to be the boss of the 2 installers bragging about getting drunk with the number one sales person at cenwood during work hours and was currently drunk. Thank god nothing went wrong or nobody got hurt but my parents are the greatest people on earth and did not want to say anything about it. So I thought I would reach out to a public forum to make sure that they don't hurt themselves or others.
