E92 M3 carbon fiber roof re-clear!…read more It was very difficult to find a shop even willing to take on the task of working on carbon fiber... the other shops would only quote replacing the roof rather than repairing it as it is very easy to damage carbon fiber weave when sanding and any damage is very noticeable. Donny's took on the job of clear coating the carbon fiber roof. I dropped the car off Monday and picked it up on Friday... also they repainted the front bumper and the side panel that a different local shop did a terrible job painting. Donny's did excellent work and they even washed the whole car. I have had only bad experiences with paint and body shops prior to this and would highly recommend Donny's. I don't know what other shops charge but it didn't break the bank and definitely saved me a ton of money not having to replace the roof. Also I just realized that I am the reviewer from 14+ years ago with the Nissan 350Z haha! (The picture shows the roof without trim which is how I brought the car to them) Thanks guys!

What I received was less than base level acceptable with hard edges to the paintwork and paint on the seals for windshield (f and r) and the sunroof seal. I also had chipped clear coat around the sunroof. On showing this to the shop they insisted that they could do nothing unless (at my expense) they removed the glass and sunroof and reshot the panels : this despite the fact that on this car the seals are all removable without glass removal and sunroof removal takes all of 10 minutes. When. Challenged they simply refuse to deal with their mess. Awful.

Was visiting Houston from out of town and a screw had popped off on my bumper and it was flapping in the wind. I had to drive 150 miles back home on a Sunday so I could make work Monday morning. I called some "body shops" but everybody was closed. I found 2 guys A1 Autobody and this other guy. The other guy wanted me to go to Home Depot and bring him something - while A1 was like I can most likely fix it given the pictures. I was a little reluctant to spend money from somebody on Yelp and not an official body shop. But, I wasn't in a position to really wait and shop around. I didn't know what to expect but when I got to the location this guy was prepared and I could quickly tell he knew his stuff. I felt very comfortable having him work on my car and feel like I got lucky to find him. I have driven 200 miles since, and my car looks great - panels are secure. With the remaining time he offered to fix some dings and gave me the rundown of what could be a quick-fix vs. time-intensive. Bobby has a lot of experience with body work. This is like directly dealing with the guy that will touch your car rather then go to shop, schedule an appointment, and wait around. Overall, very happy and would recommend again.

I also tried to wash it out with my pressure washer and it would not come off. The inside of the truck was covered in dust from them sanding the truck. It is all in the carpet, in all the crevices of the leather sests. The glove boxes are covered in dust. It even came out of the vents when I used my ac. The radio settings had all so been changed.
