This was my first experience with Certified auto sales. I learned of them through searching the internet for a particular vehicle I was looking for, and they happened to have a potential "Keeper" for me. I was very apprehensive at first, not knowing anyone at the dealer, or the area. I live about 2.5 hours away in San Diego. I bought a mustang there .i went in and paid off the car in 3 months fully in cash. When I bought the car they told me if I did that they would charge no interest. Then, at the end , THEY DECIDED TO ADD ON 1700 of interest. They also tried to report on my credit that I missed payments!!! I did not miss one! Plus every time I came in I paid an extra 2 or 3 grand over the payment Such lying sleazy people. The girl at the desk Tania?? is extremely rude and Impersonable. Everytime I went in to make a payment she acted like I was a huge hassle. She would call my phone over and over again to remind me to come in and make the payments but never got any calls about maintenance for my car they signed that they would do on my car when I bought it. I would sit there awkwardly without one word being exchanged until she gave the receipt and says "bye" . Also nick forges bills of sale to show you how much they "buy" the car for so they can jack up the price. Just a huge mistake I had to learn from in my life!! they also agreed to paint the bumper and fix the back camera but never followed up with me once!! I just bought my first used car after having a brand new car that was totaled in a car accident, I went all the way to la looking for the exact car but used and the dealer I went to was pushy and gave me excuses as to why the car made a weird sound and then wanted me to pay a lot more than what they said online I'm glad that didn't work out and that I came here. He even pointed out the scratches that the car had and offered to get those fixed at no extra cost. The Dealer Certified Auto Care, Inc. or Certified Auto & Tire Care, Certified Auto Sales, Certified Auto Complete Auto Repair, which ever is their legal name located at 1201 Foothill Blvd. Upland Ca 91786 are all the same company including their owner Haitham Qatimi aka John who sold me the vehicle and Saleem Alkatime aka Sal failed to notify me of the many defects. Moreover, it now seems that the subject vehicle had been in an accident prior to my purchasing it but a salvage title was not disclosed or provided to me. I immediately informed the dealer of the subject vehicles defects as identified by Akbar on November 30, 2011 a few weeks after my purchase. The Dealer misled me by falsely representing that the defects were in fact repaired on December 16, 2011 while the subject vehicle was still under express warranty and further misrepresentations were made on December 27, 2012 when the Dealer finally agreed to "fix" the subject vehicle and offered to pay for half of the cost of repairs and deducting $150 off the balance due on the subject vehicle. The Dealer falsely represented the repair by tampering with the "check engine" light sensor so it would appear that the problems/issues/ defects were "fixed" yet the check engine light remains on from the date of purchasing the subject vehicle. In addition, the Dealer later acknowledged that the repairs were not, in fact, made when I notified it that the oil sensor light turned on a few weeks after my first oil change and by allowing me to replenish the oil a whole year for free. The subject vehicle continues to have air conditioning problem which the Dealer was aware of as well. They recommended that I sell the vehicle on craigslist only to get rid of their problem and defraud the public or another individual. They also recommended that I sell the vehicle to Car Max and defraud them as well by resetting the "check engine" light for the highest appraisal possible only to give them more money for a down payment on another non-merchantable vehicle on their lot. This company had a rate of an "F" on the Better Business Bureau which they are no longer affiliated with after my complaint with them. Now you can no longer find their business on BBB but you can find other complaints against this fraudulent company on google and other websites. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone as they are exercising fraudulent business practice by deceiving the public stating that their vehicles are "Certified" when they are not. These people are taking advantage of the middle to poor working class and are eating on the backs of hard working citizens of this country. read more

They also provide the opportunity for you to secure your own finance otherwise they would also help you to get financed for your car. I was able to secure my own finance and come back on a different day to finalize all the documentation. I would leave no stars if I had the option. I bought a car from this place 10 months ago and have had nothing but issues. The day I drove off the lot the check engine light came on, which should have been a red flag to return the car. Instead because of how nice John and Christine where, I decided to let them fix it. BIG MISTAKE. Within 10 months I had the check engine light come on more then once, had to fix a transmission leak, had to replace the fuel pump (cost $900), and now the cars engine is done and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately most of these issues happened not long after their 3 month warranty. I understand that they are selling used cars and you get what you get but the main reason I'm leaving this comment is because they don't care. I emailed them to let them know how wronged I felt and said that I understood they didn't necessarily know that these issues would happen. All I asked for was a response from them so that I could know that they heard about my issues, and they couldn't even respond. They where so kind at the beginning and all this does is make me feel like they are 100% fake (scammers), they don't care, and I would never recommend buying a car from someone like that. My mechanic took apart the motor and told me that this motor had so many issues that someone hid, probably to make a quick sell......... read more
