I purchased a refrigerator from RC Willey for $14,000. Certified installed it and after they left, I noticed the doors weren't lined up. I reached out to them and they told me I'd have to pay their hourly to send someone out. The fact that they didn't do it while they installed it and wanted to charge me is poor business practice. I spoke with RC Willey and they assured me Certified would make it right. I was supposed to receive a call to schedule a time and never heard from anyone. It's been months now and I had to pay someone else to come and finish the job I already paid Certified to do. read more

They let me know that Certified Installs does that work, and I happily paid a little extra for the peace of mind. I called to schedule the install and the lady on the phone was super friendly and accommodating of my tricky schedule. She even asked if I would prefer that the technician wear a mask. As promised, I received a text and a phone call the day of the install and they were right on time. The gentleman who installed the dishwasher was professional and kept the area clean. He got the job done quickly, much faster than I ever would, and tested everything out to make sure it was working properly. He also let me know that they guarantee their installs for a year, so if there were any problems, I could call and they would make it right. The lady with scheduling was super nice, and she even called! We had a date scheduled for later in the week but called early and said there was an installation appointment the next day. Wow! We originally had a different company but we could never connect with they and they never returned my call. They kept cancelling the appointment and I still could not reach them. They never returned my messages. The Installer, Taylor was superb. The installation went without a problem and he was nice to show us all the features and test the dishwasher to make sure it worked. Had my new dishwasher installed twice! First one, brand new out of the box, was a lemon and Taylor tried so hard to get it to work...never did. I had to call the store where I purchased it to be sure they had the same make and model in stock (they did), then called Certified Installs to set up another install date. One week later my new replacement dishwasher was delivered and Taylor was again the technician sent to install it. This time the installation went like clockwork, and I now have a functioning dishwasher. Taylor was very personable and very efficient at installing my dishwasher. read more

I first called Certified Installers on Friday evening just after 5:30 PM. The person that answered the phone name was Heather. Heather was polite, but mentioned she had paperwork to do because she was closing. I mentioned I didn't realize that and I thought that they were open until 6 PM. That seemed to be not very customer oriented. Heather commenced to take down my information, name and phone number, she also noted the appliance that the installers would be putting in. Heather mentioned that she would call me back the start of Saturday morning 11/14. I never received a call from Heather all morning. So, I called about 1:40 pm., that same day. Heather answered the phone. I told her who I was and that I did not hear from her this morning, she mentioned their computers were being worked on. Heather thought I was having a dishwasher installed, but I reminded her it was a 30 inch wall oven. I asked Heather what is the charge to have the wall oven installed. if I remember the amount correctly, Heather said $257.00. Heather did mention that this charge came with a one year warranty on the install. Heather said the entire amount needed to be paid upfront over the phone. Mind you, this was before anyone came out to the house, before any work was done in my home. Heather also mentioned that the price included removing the old wall oven and hauling it away. But, I told her I removed the old oven so that would not be a concern. The price remained the same. I mention to Heather, that I had not heard of paying before work was done in my home. It is ludicrous to imagine paying money up front for requested service that had not been completed. But, I guess that's where we are at these days. The one star was for being polite. I cannot give any other stars, because, there was a lack of customer service to begin with, when I called Friday evening and she reminded me that she had paperwork to do and that they were closing at six. The other reason, I did not receive a call first thing Saturday morning as she said and that we had agreed upon. This would make anyone leery of paying money up front, considering the customer service was not up front. read more

Tanner had came to do a gas dryer install at our home. He was nice and overall did a decent job. However he dented our BRAND NEW DRYER that we never used. He suggested we take a blow dryer to it to try to pop the dent out. So we tried to do this with him there and it would not come out. Additionally I spent another 4 hours trying to do it on my own after he left. To no avail. He took a picture of it and assured us that someone would call us on Monday and would get it taken care of. He said they should be able to come out and use some tool with suction to pop the dent out. (the install was done on a Saturday) 10/6. I waited and never received a phone call. I called at the end of the week, giving them several days to call and left them a message asking for a call back and explaining my frustration with the damage. To this day I still have no received a call back and am upset every time I look at our brand new washer and dryer and see a dent in our dryer. I wouldn't have cared as much if they weren't brand new, but it is quite frustrating when the dent was caused even before it's first use. UPDATE:::: Shawn contacted me the day my review was posted and apologized that somehow my voicemail slipped through the cracks via email. He arranged for a tech to come and fix the dent. A tech came out and got the dent almost completely out. 90% better than what it was. I feel better knowing that they do actually care and tried to take care of me and make it right. I would use them again for any other services. They did offer to replace the top portion of the dryer that was dented since they could not take it out completely. I felt that was unreasonable for me to ask that they do that, but I was impressed that they offered. They did offer me a credit towards my install for the work they did and I felt that was reasonable and fair on both ends. I would recommend them and I would use them again. read more

Bought a dishwasher from RC Willeys and Thais for installation. RC Willeys had Certified Installers come to install. We had no problems with power in our house. The installer came, couldn't figure out how to turn off the power to the kitchen for over an hour going back and forth between the breaker and all over our house. After installing the dishwasher there wasn't power to half the kitchen. He told us he can't fix it because he is t an electrician, to get an electrician and then the installer can come back and make sure the dishwasher works. They offered to waive the fee to come back. He wouldn't take the dishwasher out to double check the connections. Called to talk to a manager and only spoke with the person who answered phones who went back and forth with me. She said the technician said the problem was old wires and old breaker box. If he isn't an electrician how did he know what the problem was? Called RC Willey customer service and they called me back with the response from the installer. Didn't offer any solutions. If there was a risk and he saw our electricity was old he should have stopped, informed us to agree to move forward or not. This is so unprofessional and horrible service! I'm having an electrician come to assess the problem and I'll have to take this to court if it is the fault of the installer. read more

The tech actually knows the details of various brands, knows the parts of the install that most people skip, and on both the installs we have had them do, is a perfectionist. By FAR the best money I have spent on anything related to an appliance, ever. And the office folks are very, very focused on meeting customer needs--not making a sale. I have had the worst experience with certified installs. I purchased a dishwasher at RC Willey and set up an appointment for my new dishwasher to be installed. On my ticket I told the installer to call me before the install so I could meet them at the house and I also asked for them to put my old dishwasher in the garage. I never got a phone call, the installer came into my home, without my permission, without my signature, without anyone letting him in, the installer the new dishwasher, damaging my countertop and took away my old dishwasher. I called the company to report the incident, I was treated very poorly. I was first told that I was basically lying and that their installer did not take my old dishwasher and that e specifically stated that he left it in my garage and then tried to blame the stolen dishwasher on the people I had painting in my garage. It wasn't until after I showed them the video surveillance of their installer loading up and taking my dishwasher that they admitted to "a mistake". I have since been given the run around for over a week have not had anyone contact me or try to make anything right. I have sent countless texts, calls, and emails and still nothing read more
