Certified breakfast sandwich with all added toppings ($3 extra).
    Melissa W.

This is a must when you visit. We went two days in a row for the Certified sandwich. First of all, the English Muffin is made there. It is buttery and crispy. Mmmmmm. The eggs, bacon, arugula, tomato, cheese... all of it is perfection.. staff is friendly and helpful. They had so many people in there working. It was awesome to see. Worth the wait for your order. Super cute area too!

Cute, busy, lil bakery in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Came here for their carrot cake that is highly regarded. And it didn't disappoint. Yelplicious!! Need to come back and try their soups and sandwiches. Very interesting combinations and ingredients that sound scrumptious.

    Pulled pork sandwich

I live a few blocks away from certified and it's always a great treat to stop by there. Was craving a good sandwich in between the workday and I got a pulled pork sandwich. It had super delicious flavors within it, especially with the little greens and the pulled pork not feeling too heavy with it. The ciabatta was the main dealbreaker for me selecting that sandwich. It was so fluffy and delicious and tasted like it was fresh out of the oven. All of the stuff is always super sweet. My mom is obsessed with their blueberry bars and if I do not come prepared with four blueberry bars, when I visit, she will be very disappointed. Always a great time to stop by certified and get a treat. Definitely try out their baked goodies as well.

I find myself at certified at least twice a week. A staple in Hyde park you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. From their handcrafted sandwiches to their coffees, desserts and prepackaged snacks for picnics certified makes their food with love. My favorite is the French style pancakes, which of course is a crêpe, just by a different name. They serve it with Nutella and fresh berries, and it is to die for. Their baked goods and pastries are 10 out of 10 delicious their Star cookies and the sourdough brownie are some of my favorites. they do have gluten-free breads and desserts so it is a gluten-free friendly place. they do not have much indoor seating at all. They do have a very small bar top with some barstools, but it gets very crowded during the busy time. I recommend getting your food to go and sitting at one of the tables outside. To me, certified kitchen and bakery, represents a successful neighborhood café/lunch spot. They have great options for just about everyone. A great spot if you're going to picnic at Cammile's back or bringing a friend from out of town who's visiting or just picking up breakfast or lunch on your way to the office. I highly recommend.

I've been here twice now, and both times I've walked away genuinely impressed. The Certified Breakfast Sandwich is a winner--super filling with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Special shoutout to the bacon: perfectly cooked, not too crispy and definitely not limp. Just right. The staff is consistently friendly and impressively efficient, moving long lines quickly without making anyone feel rushed. While the restaurant doesn't have much indoor seating, it's easy to grab your sandwich and head to the nearby park or one of the many benches along the street to enjoy your meal. This spot is quickly becoming a favorite. Simple, satisfying, and run by a team that clearly cares about both the food and the customer experience.

Matcha (Extra Shot & Less Milk) + Star Chip Cookie

Usually come here for the breakfast items but, wanted to try some of the sweets. The Breakfast burrito, grain bowl, and sandwhiches are all amazing and fresh to order. The Matcha isn't ceremonial but is a local business, I added an extra shot of Matcha and less Milk. It's okay but, recco to add a bit of sweetener since it comes out to be a bit bitter. The cookie was chewy on the inside and crispy on the edges. Love the addition of pecans and the folds bring more texture to the cookie. The service is great, tons of staff working tirelessly to get orders out. There's a few chairs on the side. Will be back again!

I preordered a tuxedo cake. I'm so glad I preordered because that place was PACKED! The cake was delicious, not too sweet. The service was great as well. I can't wait to try some other treats from here!

I'd heard some rumblings about this place and their low key tasty breakfast sandos. Well those rumblings need to be shouted out loud because these guys sling a mean one. Team behind the counter were full of smiles and kindness. This place is a must try.

Don't let the line out the door deter you, it's worth it 100%. Loved my breakfast sandwich! And the English Muffins I took home were delish.

I'm obsessed with this place! From the lattes to the sandwiches to the baked goods, everything is soooo good. You have to get a starchip cookie! Heads up, this place really is best enjoyed to go! It's order at the counter and there is not nearly enough seating for how popular they are. Nevertheless, I'm loyal to Certified!

Cool spot for a casual coffee and breakfast sandwich. Coffee was good and well made. Breakfast sandwich had a really good English muffin and savory bacon but at $11, was a bit on the pricey side so dock one star. Overall pretty good.

There always seem to be quite a few flying around, and sometimes you feel like you have to fight them for your food. LOL! I really wish they could find a way to get that under control because it definitely takes away from the dining experience. Other than that, we enjoy coming here. This place is phenomenal and seriously one of the best breakfast places in all of Idaho. I hesitate to say that because there can definitely be a wait because of its popularity, but facts are facts. My wife and I went to Moe Joe's for breakfast recently and man was it good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was stunned at the amount of food. Where to start. The steak was incredibly tender and enormous. The homemade biscuit was flaky and perfectly baked. The sausage gravy was meaty and flavorful. And the crispy hashbrowns seemed to cover half the plate. Then there are the house-made jellies. Who does that and how can I get more! The service was prompt and friendly with a great wait staff that made everything easy. The vibe of the restaurant is "friendly neighborhood spot" and feels like home. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. These folks know how to do breakfast right and I cannot wait to go back.

And after finding out that Blue Bench Brunchette and Biscuits and Hogs were all affiliated, I made a point not to spend a dime at any of those businesses. I recently found out that Blue Bench is under new management. Knowing that this joint has new owners, I was totally down to give it a shot. New management means new expectations and service. I was done doing labs at the hospital. I told my husband let's go get breakfast and we made our way in. I love love love how darling this venue is. It's bright, fun and girly. I adore the decor. It's a smaller venue so the space is cute and dainty. Even though it's a smaller venue, tables and booths are nicely spaced out. You're not on top of each order. I can imagine this place being crazy on the weekends so I'm happy we decided to try this place out on a Monday. It was chill. Our server got some coffee and apple juice started for us while we looked over the menu. Everything looked so good! For brunch my husband got the Brunch trio. He picked cinnamon roll French toast, a cinnamon roll and some eggs. I got the sunrise sampler with cinnamon roll French toast. I had to try a little bit of everything. I also snagged a side of country gravy for my potatoes. Food came out really fast and it all looked fantastic! The cinnamon roll French toast was so fragrant. My husband's cinnamon roll looked divine. And the sunrise sampler was all about business! It was hearty! If you ever eat here, the cinnamon roll French toast is a must! It's crispy on the outside topped with butter and cinnamon sugar dust. The inside is soft and warm. Killer good! I did take a bite of my husband's cinnamon roll. It was mehhh. But I think if it was served warm, it would have been that much better. It was cold, dry and stiff. The bacon and sausage on my plate were cooked perfectly! My eggs were great and the potatoes were tasty! I do wish that the country gravy was not lumpy. I couldn't get over the lumps in the gravy from it sitting. I had about a couple spoons of it and couldn't eat it. It looked esthetically displeasing. Breakfast was good. Aspen did a decent job taking care of us. The venue is super charming. But the cinnamon roll was cold and honestly tasted like it wasn't freshly baked. The country gravy was lumpy and not very hot. It sucked to pay for a side of it and not enjoy it. Overall our visit was great. I don't know when we will be back but the cinnamon roll French toast will be a must have the next time we come in.

So, I don't weep for their need to re-evaluate but realize fans will be disappointed. From the letter on door: "As many know, there has been a significant slowdown in consumer spending, especially in restaurants starting late 2024. We've done our very best to keep prices in line with what makes sense to cover costs and provide full benefits for our amazing staff," the letter said. I came here for a late lunch around 2 pm after arriving in Boise. They weren't crowded at this point but business wasn't dead either. My waitress was very friendly. Inside has a lived-in, intimate feel, but it was pretty dark, so much that I wasn't sure they were actually open as I was opening the door. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.
