My car broke down in Woodland Hills and AAA quoted more than $400 to tow me back home to Ventura. I called my insurance company and luckily I had a roadside assistance benefit. Shortly after I got off the phone with Allstate, Certified Roadside Assistance called and gave me an estimated time of about an hour. My tow arrived in about 40 minutes (making me VERY happy) and the driver quickly got my car onto the flatbed and we were on the way. He was very courteous and efficient and clearly knew what he was doing. Total out of pocket cost was $128 (my insurance covered an additional $100). Way more reasonable than what I thought I was going to have to pay and an overall very positive experience from what started out as a disastrous day. read more

I give this tow service a 5/5 rating. The only company who actually communicated with me and understood my frustration! Long story short, I had arranged a tow service with bmw and their 3rd party companies since 7am, it's now 4:30 pm, Dennis called me and was able to calm me down for the delay that BMW gave me and assured pick up and delivery of my motorcycle to the dealership of my choice. Dennis in my opinion went above and beyond to make sure my motorcycle gets picked up!! If you're ever in need of a tow! This company is the one! Hands down. I don't care what anybody else says. We were driving over Benedict Canyon in the latest rain storm and drove through some rushing water and got a flat tire. Since we have a Tesla we don't have a spare so we needed a tow. Dennis and Daniel were both fantastic. My car broke down and I was able to steer it off the street but was in a red zone. I called my insurance and requested a tow, but for reasons unknown, 2 tow companies cancelled on me before Dennis took the job and my car was stuck there unattended overnight! I explained to him what happened, and he talked me through what might have gone wrong and exactly how to contact the police to see if it got impounded, and what to do if it was. Once I confirmed that it wasn't, he immediately sent Daniel to get the car (couldn't have been more than 20 mins!) and drop it at the auto shop I requested. Had the same experience as Deez and Daniel in the other reviews below, so their service is clearly inconsistent and unreliable. I called this company and they set up an appointment for the next day. Their driver was almost an hour late and the manager (Dennis) kept on trying to buy time by a saying another 20min... when their driver finally showed up, he yelled at me (no hello, no apologies for the delay) claiming that I gave the wrong address?! Then he couldn't find parking?! We confirmed the address twice (on the phone, by text) the day prior and in the morning of the appointment. I would definitely NOT recommend this service if you're looking for a quick, reliable and friendly service. In comparison, I called another tow service and they've picked up the job in 20min. I rarely go out of my way to write Yelp reviews, but... This towing company was assigned to me by my insurance company when I had a flat tire. Dennis (owner?) would not commit to an arrival time and was clearly buying time while he juggled me with other customers. Five calls and OVER FOUR HOURS LATER (four hours and twenty minutes, to be exact), the tow driver finally arrived (and confirmed he had not been informed until over three hours into my wait). In our calls, Dennis was apologetic but insisted he was "doing a favor" by even taking the job...Thanks, Dennis. It's bad enough to leave someone stranded roadside for over four hours in the dark, but it's even worse to be dishonest and not take responsibility for your actions. I'm asking my insurance company not patronize this business, and I suggest you don't, if possible. read more

Johnny of this company was one of the couteous, pleasant, ingenious tow people I've ever met! I didn't realize that my car's wheels were locked in a near sideways turn and it was nearly impossible to get the car OFF the tow truck UP a steep driveway at the destination! I highly recommend Certified Roadside Assistance. My car died on the 405. Metro Freeway Service Patrol towed me to a safe location (gas station in Westwood), but I needed to get the car from there to my mechanic in Woodland Hills. My insurance company USAA connected me to Certified. On the phone they were calm, professional, and creative. It was late in the day so car was moved the following day. They sent me a photo from my mechanic's to show it was indeed there! They were also very patient dealing with USAA - for some reason my assistance request got into a loop and they kept trying to send another tow company to me! I'm so grateful for Certified's help.
