Excellent service. This company winched my sons truck out of a ditch off the freeway after an accident and towed it to their yard. From there I called AAA and Northridge Towing was dispatched to tow my vehicle home which was a big mistake because after 3 1/2 hours in 102 degree weather waiting they refused and told AAA they couldn't handle the tow with their equipment. Thankfully Action towing was so helpful and patient with us while our truck was blocking their driveway while we waited for AAA service. AAA never found a contracted provider so I had to handle it on our own. Action towing ended up helping us with this mess of a situation, they offered to tow our vehicle back to Oxnard. Understanding of our situation, they let us leave our vehicle there until we returned in the morning. This company went above and beyond. Definitely would recommend Action Towing. read more

Back in January, on a Friday evening, my son had an accident. Someone called this towing company. On Monday, I personally went to pay them, and as soon as we entered, the older man started to yell at my son, "Why did you leave a bad review?" I let them be, but immediately I realized that I know my son doesn't know how to get here to write a review, and second, we were not in any place mentally and emotionally to write something, even less a review. I told the man to stop yelling that it was a false accusation. Went inside the office; a nicer lady helped us pay; gave the pink slip. Last words that came out of her mouth were "Don't have to worry about anything else, especially DMV; we will take care of everything. That's why you are paying." Last month my son got mail from the DMV for not having insurance for that car. Last week we got the license plate renewal form. This only means that they resold the car that, by the way, had 3-day brand-new tires (extra cash for them) and never reported it to the DMV. Since they are so worried about the reviews, I can't wait for the response on how they will clear this and say that this didn't happen and that they are not a corrupt business. read more

They towed my daughter's vehicle, which had a dead battery. They were called at around 10AM and towed it from Oxnard & Reseda to Parthenia & Reseda. We picked it up by 11:00 AM. They charged me $260.00, and said they left their location at 8:00 AM, and charged for storage also. It was a total ripoff, but I had to pay them to get her car back. They also kept my daughter's Driver's License and Credit Card, and we had to return to pick those up. My rating of One Star is TOO HIGH. I think they are not a very reputable business, and I would never use them. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. On Friday I was in an accident and I was so flustered and anxious about the whole thing. CHP came and told me they had called AAA to tow my car. I belong to AAA so I thought that was great. Well it turns out I should have called them myself. Action Towing came out and because I was so out of sorts I did not confirm that they were with AAA. I did however ask that they would tow my car to my residence and confirmed the address. Come to find out they actually took it to their tow yard. They are still fighting over this with me, the driver swears he never said he would take it to my residence but I know the truth. Since this was a Friday and they were not open on the weekend, I couldn't get my car till Monday. And of course they try and charge fees for my car just sitting there over the weekend. All in all they had no sympathy and I had to pay $500 just to get my car back, not something I really needed after being in a traumatic accident. Edit to respond: no my fees were not waived. I paid $500. I was just happy to be done with the process. I thanked you because I'm polite, not because you did right by me. I was told I was a liar by your staff. I got in an accident with 5 other vehicles and this is the place that a police officer called for me to get my car towed since my vehicle was not operational. The guys were very kind. When they arrived, they spoke with my dad on the phone and were very patient. I had to return to their location days later to get a few things out of my vehicle. They could not have been much more kind. Dealing with them was a joy and getting your car towed could not possibly be a better experience. Action Towing? More like INaction Towing. We had an emergency yesterday where my grandma needed her car towed off the freeway. We had to leave it there overnight since they close at 5 and we couldn't get there in time. They charge a $100 fee if you need to go there after hours. Fine. We called and asked them how to go about getting the car back, since my grandma is in the hospital and unable to get it back herself. They said we needed a copy of her drivers license and registration (the registration is in the car). They also told us we would need to get it notarized in order to pick up the car. Lots of hoops to jump through to say the least. We got a notary, signed everything, and I went to pick up the car today. The guy who works at the front, I think his name is Robbie or Rob, was not friendly and was very rude. He knew our situation as we had called the day before and was not helpful at all. We just wanted our grandma's car back after this awful situation. I know that towing company's are not known for their excellent customer service, but come on, basic human interaction requires some form of decency. I do not understand how this place is in business. Moral of the story: do not use this company for your towing needs. Call AAA. They usually work with great companies who are also friendly and get the job done. Also this place is FILTHY. There is no way the building is up to code and there is literally no parking for customers. In fact, there is a sign that says you will be towed if you park there. How IRONIC! read more

Roni saved the evening after a really bad day of dealing with other companies. 3 other tow trucks had been sent out to tow my car to my new house and they were all lazy and useless. It was a difficult situation that had me dealing with Mercedes Benz roadside assistance.
