This is an honest review. The room was not that bad size wise and beds being comfortable but the cleanliness was not good. There were a lot of dead mosquitos on the edge of the windows, a few hairs on the sheets and the bathroom was pretty gross. Something was splatter on the wall, shower curtain was yellow and it wasn't throughly cleaned. I am blown away how the housekeepers missed that. It was on the cheaper side considering that staying in this city costs you an arm and a leg. A 3 star hotel is valued as a 5 star hotel. Crazy!

This place is disgusting. I booked it because it's owned by the running Y, who has a pretty excellent hotel and condos outside of town. It's dingy and super creepy. The pics used on their website and NOTHING to what the room I got was like.

Two queen bed room with extra space on the right.

We did a Groupon for the hotel so for the value we received it was good ($53 with tax). There's a Waffle Hut across the parking lot and I do recommend the liege waffles. As to the hotel room, of course the pics on the website are more updated than the room we actually received. But, we had a two queen bed room and it fit our family of six. We brought a pack n play and an inflatable toddler bed (this just makes hotel stays more comfortable for our brood). The room was spacious enough with all that extra stuff we bring. Also, there probably is a elevator but we never found it and just brought everything up the stairs. There was a desk, drawers, fridge with tiny freezer (I swear a gave an extra star for the tiny freezer), microwave, table with two chairs, sink area separate from bathroom (also a plus for us). No bible found, my kids pointed this out. Lol. The bathroom was the thing that concerned me the most because there seemed to be a lot of patchwork on the walls and when I stepped into the bathtub it made noises like I might fall through (obviously it wasn't that dire but it made me nervous nonetheless). Other issue was the carpeting must have been filthy. My kids feet were black within a half hour of walking barefoot. It looked clean though. Overall, this hotel, for the value received was satisfactory and had some things we really appreciate (the freezer for our ice packs, larger room for our extra stuff). There's an outdoor pool and hot tub but it's snowing as I write this so we couldn't partake. But always nice to have a pool when you travel with kids.

After a 5 hour drive with two kids under 2 years old we were so excited to lay down and relax in our room. Not only did we have to try THREE rooms before they gave us a decent one, we cut our stay short. The first room had a cookie on the headboard (WHAT IF MY SON ATE THAT), water stains on the nightstand and a full garbage can, the second room the bed was broken and the third room the ceiling was falling apart. The fourth room was a suite with an extra room which was decent. I won't go back.

Made a trip to Klamath falls for a Fastpitch softball tourney. Excited to play after months off due to the pandemic then northern California fires. We had to call daily for places to stay. We also utilized the reviews, however more so the pictures. This located close to the girls and downtown. There is a waffle spot to grab food and we may try it for convenience. We all know everyone's review depends on our moods and the service provided during the stay. I would say I'm disappointed after checking in. The night staff was, and is awesome from phone call to arrival. The price is high for the quality of room. We walked in and it smelled like a bingo center. Smoke and mildew. The floor had dust and the beds looked cleaned, until we started to get settled and we saw stains on the blankets. Both beds had stains on blankets and after laying down we started to feel itchy. The pictures did not look like the rooms! False advertising. One more night and we are out of here. I will follow up with management my here, the running Y corporate relations, as well as my contact with department of health. This is unacceptable. It's late and I will try and cool off and rest. When it's all said and done. Choose wisely. Lastly i want to give a shot out to the night staff. The gentleman before 11, and the one after. They are the only reason there is. Star. Good night

Definitely not a hotel, motel all the way.

Remember that motel you stayed at, swore you would never do so again, and caused you become loyal to a chain? This is that place. Walking into the lobby to check-in where you told wait while the desk agent answers a call that in their own words had been in hold for a while and may have hung up. The aroma of the spacious room with extremely outdated furniture, that the 1960s wouldn't take back, was a mixture of mildew, dust, and stale smoke. For that classic horror film touch the TV had such poor reception that lines were running through the picture, giving you that feeling that soon either a zombie would knock at the door or the blob would be sliding in through the cracks around the door. The real selling point was the stained sheets that waited to greet us as we settled into bed. Dirt? Ash? A souvenir left behind by a prior guest? When brought to e attention of the front desk, we were offered new sheets so that we could remake the bed. Threw in a discount on the price of the room to offset us having to make our bed. The customer service on check out in the morning was steller! Four people behind the desk, one lounging in a chair with her feet up on the wall, and all looking at each other in confusion when told them we were checking out. I can't wait not to stay here again. For the quality and price try camping, staying with your in-laws, or sleeping in your car in abandoned parking lot.

The property is mostly asphalt except for the pool area and a bit of grass if traveling with pets. Easy access and good parking for large vehicles, RVs and trailers. At least that's what I was told, so we ended up with one room and 3 beds for an extra $100. The first night shower was messed up, and the charger didn't work because you have to flip the light switch. This time around I'm really disappointed by the fact they don't clean your rooms without you going to the front and asking. I stayed 4 nights and not one turn down. The breakfast sucks and is only cold Options. The hotel is old as dirt and has no new renovations, yes the pricing is cheap but I won't be staying here again. Beds are old, make noises when you move, the walls are dirty, the bathroom is growing mold, I honestly don't think anyone really cleans here. You can see the dust on the lamps and light fixtures. It is a convenient place due to the location. They do have a lot of parking and a pool that is heated which is weird when the weather is 80-90 degrees during the summer. There are a lot of homeless people around here and behind the rooms I did take a picture. It sucks when you can't leave windows open because you don't want to hear or see them. I did see a lot of people staying here smoking outside of the rooms or near their cars. Which is not okay. I didn't like that the lady that works here sat down instead of getting up to greet you, I did ask if I can borrow a broom to clean our room and she said no. I don't see why that's an issue all I know is it left a sour taste in my mouth. It's unfortunate that Klamath doesn't have new upgraded hotels.

THIS was exactly what I got at The Maverick Motel, and couldn't be happier. Don't think you're coming to a Hilton or anything like it.. but great value and exceeded all expectations. The Dad at the front desk was really great and polite even at 11pm AND when we left early morning. The room was definitely.clean and comfortable, with a good soft bed and pillows, a microwave and fridge, and a decent comfortable space for a toilet and shower/tub even for a big guy like myself. The AC blew cold. The TV and cable worked great. Nothing more you can ask for. Thank you for this stay and good nights sleep!!! A couple notes: 1. There is no breakfast here... But they do have coffee. 2. There is a small convenience store in the office, and they've got a lot. 3. MIDGE FLYS - they are everywhere outside and the Dad at the front desk warns you about them. Get in and out of your door quickly to keep them out. THEY ARE HARMLESS. 4. Not sure about wheelchair access here. I didn't see a ramp from the lot to the rooms, but I could be wrong.

Just a clean room, a quiet stay, a decent bed, at a decent price. *Bring your own hairdryer or ask the front desk for a loaner. The rate on Expedia was much better than booking direct with the motel which is a little odd. The room itself was a step up from the last visit due to it being "pet friendly" (+$15/night); laminate flooring instead of nasty carpet *yay* The beds were comfortable enough. The sheets and towels were clean. Heater worked fine. Water is nice and hot. The "smart TV" was broken and we had to have the manager come to our room and give us a different remote; one that works with google TV. He said this is an ongoing problem that is caused by guests attaching an HDMI cable to the TV *good to know*. Expedia has better pricing than their own website: $54 for the room (double queens) + $15 for the pet per night. The ice machine was working. No amenities. Short drive to OIT and walking distance to the Amtrak Train Station.

We were given the option of 1st, 2nd or 3rd Floor which was nice. We chose ground level this time, our room was small but cozy perfect for us. There was a decent sized bathroom, a queen bed, closet, desk, tv, fridge & microwave. The room had a bench seat in the window which I loved. I chose to hang out there for a bit. It was comfortable and we could see our vehicle from the window. The bedroom had a large mirror as a backdrop with bright lights, it was perfect for someone to do their makeup if the bathroom was in use etc. The bed was comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. The down side of the rooms being small is you can hear the tv from the next room through the walls. And unfortunately for us the alarm clock from the opposite room that went off from about 530 - 930ish when housekeeping went in and shut it off. The only other issue w3 ran into was the side door closest to our rooms key reader was down so we had to walk around to get back in the building. The fridge was handy as there were many grocery stores in the area to buy snacks and drinks. We used the indoor hot tub and pool during our visit. Both were great! The towels were fully stocked and the pool and hot tub were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good too. The staff worked hard to keep the food stocked when the breakfast rush arrived. My only complaint is the elevators. We took the stairs most of the time because the elevators would shake and seemed to pause for a few minutes before finally settling on the second floor to open the doors. At first we called the first elevator (on the left) "sketchy" after a few uses. We then revised the nickname to "sketchy 1" after using the elevator to the right, which we fondly named "sketchy 2." Both elevators were a little scary so we just used the stairs. Other than that we had a wonderful time at this Holiday Inn Express.

I booked this hotel on my way through Oregon through the IHG app. I like the IHG group of hotels and I had no issues with this hotel it's exactly what you would expect from IHG hotels and Holiday Inn Express. But will really set this place apart was, again, Cynthia! When I showed up she was friendly and courteous. There were other people waiting to check in and she handled all of our tasks professionally and deftly, I wasn't waiting for very long! Then, there was an issue with my room and Cynthia was able to accommodate me getting into a different room. Then I made a mistake with my key card and Cynthia helped me out with the most wonderful attitude. And finally helped me get settled into my room for the night. Checking into hotel can be stressful, especially when there's something that goes wrong, and especially when you make a mistake with misplacing your key card. Cynthia took all the stress out of that situation and really helped me out. The breakfast in the morning was a little limited, but the server was very friendly and helpful! So again, this hotel is great, but the star of the show here is definitely Cynthia!
