LOVED THIS PLACE! I was in Hollywood when I realized that I needed a last minute gel mani. So I called them and Kim was extremely nice and told me that I could come in for a last minute appt. (basically a walk-in). She basically saved my nails from a horrendous mani gel I had gotten a week prior. I would just like to say how i absolutely dislike establishments that do not have prices for their services. my bad for not asking prior to getting my full set almond shaped nails. I figured it would be max 25 since this nail salon is a dinky little place. my nails were 30 dollars for the full set almond shaped nails by the way. and it was just ok. it wasn't fabulous. had i known it would've been 30 i would've trekked my ass over to laque nail bar and pay 35 for the full set and be treated like royalty. honestly, shame on me. i'm a little bitter and being cheap but i feel like i'm entitled for being a cheapy since this place was a jank hole in the wall. i mean it did say $ for the price range. ... womp womp. read more

I got my nails done a week ago it was a pretty good price I got gel acrylics but it has only been a WEEK today and my nails are off. My long acrylics usually stay for about 3 weeks no lie . And it was not nice at all they only had 2 employees and since I'm a teen she assumed I wanted short nails but I always get long and she was like "are you sure ? Can you still clean your butt?" I really dont believe that this place likes black people Once I went there and wanted a polish change (natural nails), I had a dark color on my nails and wanted a light color for the change. The lady who sits at the first booth, I assume the owner told me in a really rude way....... NOOOOOOOOO, we dont do dark color to light color.... Sorry... I was like OK...... to myself, I thought how rude. I've never heard of that rule before. Last week I decided to try them again as my usual spot was booked. Went in... The shop was empty.... She (the same chic) asked me what do you want. ? I told her a gel manicure and a pedicure. she said OK. She proceeded to remove my polish and start to file and I mean file, or maybe I should say saw my natural nails. I told her to please only go in one direction, she got an atttitude and said something to another worker in vietnamese. She did it right for that nail and the proceeded to saw back and forth with the file again. So... I said to her again, can you please not do that because my nails will break. She then again said something under her breath but loud enough for the other worker to hear her, And then looks up at me and says..... I have no time to do your pedicure. Mind you , the shop was totally empty. I said excuse me? She repeated herself then proceeded to say really fake and super friendly.... "Thank you".... Thank you". I really wanted to smack her in her face because she had totally wasted my time and I had plans for the evening and was trying to beat the rush hour traffic, Every time I drive by there they are empty and I definetly understand why. If you study nail care you should know that you file the nails in one direction so that nails do not break. That is nail care 101, So if you have natural nails or just care about the health of your nails not just being treated like a $ sign. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SPOT!!!!!!!! read more

I see this place has not been reviewed in months. Interesting... I used to go to C'est La Vie all the time because the ladies were nice, they did a nice job, and it was walking distance from my home. It was almost perfect. Almost... But then they started getting bad on me... Higher prices for less than great nails. "What do you mean you don't scrub my feet anymore? Did you just forget to remove my cuticles?" It was as if I was paying for a simple polish. Good bye pedicure experience! Since then I have used yelp to find a better nail place and thank goodness for yelpers because they weren't wrong. KIM IS THE SWEETEST she honesty spoiled me silly this past weekend. I came in for a gel mani/spa pedi and had a broken middle finger nail that she offered to fix no charge!! I am looking for a decent place that is clean to take my disabled mother for a Pedicure. Although this review page states "Wheelchair Accessible" , I wanted to make sure my mother would be accommodated. Once the woman on the phone was asked if all would go well do to her being disabled, I was told "NO!" "She can not come here! Chair too high won't work!" VERY RUDE!!!! I love this place. It's not the fanciest nail salon, but it's worth the price. They do a good job. Despite one of the reviews on here calling them rude (over the phone) I think they are very sweet ladies who just don't speak english very well. I get gel nails done because you can't beat the price/quality anywhere. The gels last a long time and make it worth the little bit extra that they cost. I've also had my eyebrows done here several time and am always happy with the result. I started going here because it's close to my office but I've come about 30 minutes from my house to go on a Saturday too, just because I like it that much. I don't want to write a good review because I don't want too many people to find out how great they are! Alas, Judy and her sisters are so sweet and so good at what they do, they deserve a great review. I get gel manis and it never takes them more than 20 minutes from start to finish. You may have to wait, even with an appt, but it's worth it. My mani lasts a MINIMUM of 2 weeks, despite my insistence on washing dishes and gardening without gloves. Plus, the ladies are just so darned lovable and the clients are very friendly as well. And you can't beat their prices! read more

I love these ladies. Pedicures are $15. They don't do foot massages (bummer) but for a solid, inexpensive pedicure, they are great. The nail polish looks great and stays on. The lady that did my nails did them so aggressively and painful, and when I asked why she won't just use the acetone to remove my acrylics and make it smoother and less painful she said it would take too long. This was my first time visiting and I am still in awe of the amazing customer service. To begin, I called roughly 15 minutes before I came in to ensure there wouldn't be a wait. I spoke with a woman on the phone who I later learned was Kim. She called me twice while I was on my way to ensure I knew where I was going. When I arrived, I discovered that there was a walk-in also trying to receive service at the same time as me. Despite being a few minutes late, Kim still saw me over the walk-in (wow!). For my service, I received a regular manicure and acrylic full-set both done by Kim. I love how meticulous Kim was about my shape and how she took her time with everything she did in the process. For my full set, she recommended and did an ombré glitter that made my nails my look elegant and stunning! She made me feel like a valued customer, as both she and her sister were very personable and friendly to the other customers and me. Though, I stumbled across this nail shop just by being in the area -- I am extremely happy I came! It will definitely be worth the future 45 minute drive to return next time! Everytime i go to this salon i get great service. the fact that they only have a few people in there at one time makes you feel like you're getting their full attention. Kim (and all the sisters) are SO FUNNY, so you'll most certainly be entertained while getting pampered. The salon is right by my job so i try to hop in there during my lunch break or when i can, its so convenient. If you can call in advance, that's probably a good idea, that way they know you're coming. After a while, they will know you by name and treat you like family. Love this place. I was hunting for a last minute mani/pedi at 6:45 on a Friday night with minimal luck. Called this place because they didn't have their hours listed, said they could take me! On my way over, though, they called and said, wait- we actually close at 7, maybe another time? I was bummed and only a block away so I pulled up hoping to beg for mercy. No begging needed, they paused, asked if I'd be okay if they did both hands and feet at the same time (perfect) and did a fantastic job! I was definitely the last of the day because the few remaining people slowly cleared out before I was down. Even so, they were gracious and friendly, didn't rush me and even insisted I stay longer in front of the fan. My nails look perfect- incredible attention to detail, full coverage, and perfect cuticles. Definitely going back. Only criticism is they don't have as many colors to choose from as other spots.
