Was in the mood for a little ceviche and Hubby recommended we come to ceviche 595 since it's close to the house we shared a mixed ceviche where they make it fresh on the spot. It tasted amazing and refreshing and just the way I like it. The service was impeccable and it was pretty packed for being an afternoon. I wanna come back and try everything on the menu cause everything looks so good. This is gonna be my new go to spot for ceviche.

Huancaina. Not flavorful and did not taste like authentic huancaina sauce.

Visited over the weekend. Pretty sure I've ordered take out from them and have had a good experience. The owner was kind enough to allow my husband to eat his poke bowl in the outside area. I also asked about a kids menu and the owner was able to offer chicharrón de pollo for $15 which included two sides. I felt like this dish was fine. I love papa a la huancaina - actually I really love Peruvian food overall - I believe it's one of the best cuisines in the world. I reviewed the menu and saw that they only offered yuca a la huancaina. I really hate yuca so I asked the owner if it can be swapped for potatoes instead. He said he had a mashed potato option, and I was more than happy with that. When the order arrived I was so happy to see that there was a ton of sauce on top. Unfortunately, the sauce lacked flavor. It was extremely bland. I asked for salt and the salt did not fix the issue. The owner was chit chatting with another gentleman and didn't come by to check on our experience. I also ordered the ceviche (fish and shrimp mixed). The shrimp was perfect but I seemed to have an allergic reaction to the fish since every time I ate it gave me a burning/tingling sensation. I had my husband try it and he had the same reaction. When the owner finally came over, he gave me the check, again didn't check in about my experience. I told him about the ceviche and asked him to look into it. He saw that I left the entire huancaina dish and didn't ask why. He did go back and try the ceviche which I was happy about. I would hate for anyone else to have a bad experience. For reference I have ceviche often, and have tasted corvina hundreds of times - this is the first time this happened to me. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

This restaurants really really quaint. It feels really secluded which is nice. The man who runs it is so sweet and nice. The food was also very very good. The yuca and its sauce was a great starter. The mistake we made was thinking the plates for single people. We ordered ceviche for my wife and lomo saltado for me. The ceviche came out first and my saltado was nowhere to be found and we were very confused. We understood instantly when they took away the plates and brought new ones for my wife and I when the saltado came out. Aside from this mistake on our part, the food was insanely tasty and the portion size is great too. We'll definitely be coming back now that we know what we did wrong!

I come here every few weeks and honestly love it. I personally like going to a restaurant and not having an overbearing server, yet they do check in on you and bring your order in a timely manor. I always get the regular lomo or the lomo with pasta and hurricaina sauce and it's always really tasty and fresh. The reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is pricey.. for me and my friend sharing a lomo & pasta WITH 2 sodas and a tip it's about $50 but I don't mind spending that every once in a while when I'm craving it and I know it's fresh.

Located in the Tower Shops in Davie (SE Corner University and SR 84) this small Peruvian restaurant serves up great fish ceviche. The price was a bit expensive, $24.61 (including tax). The staff are friendly, but they prefer to speak Spanish. I have never seen it crowded.

Stopped in ant the height of lunch on a Thursday and it was not busy. Not sure if that was a tell or not. The interior is bright and clean. With some outside seating. I ordered the lunch special. A lot of food. The half chicken was flavorful but a bit on the dry side. The rice really did t do anything for the meal except be a ton of it and the fries were good. Should have gotten ceviche lie all the reviews said. It seems a bit pricey for the portion sizes of the few ceviches that came out of the kitchen but the lunch special would have been two meals if I was close to home. It was ok. Give them a try and I will next time I am in the area.

I eat Peruvian food often and have gone to quite a few different places and boyyyyyy am I glad I found this one. The best one by FAR. The food is consistently very delicious. I've tried a few dishes now here, and I have loved every single one. Even the chicha morada is the best I've had. The service is also great, very nice. They also play Peruvian cumbia, which I love. I don't think I can go back to the other spots, they just don't measure up to Ceviche 595. I'm looking forward to trying all of their plates! I'm obsessed if you couldn't tell already lol Super highly recommend

I've come to this plaza for years and I can't believe I hadn't tried Ceviche 595 sooner. My friend and I wanted to share a ceviche and we got recommended one of the Ceviche Appetizers called "Ceviche Duo" that is basically 2 ceviches in 1 and I love a flavored ceviche. Their ceviche is made with grouper and it we DELICIOUS. Definitely recommend them. The area inside is on the smaller side with several tables and I believe one or two outside tables. Small, casual but nice. Staff was also so nice! Food and service were both quick! I would return.

Location: Davie Florida. Inside a small shopping plaza Ambiance: tiny cozy place with outdoor and indoor seating. Food: As a peruvian myself, I am very cautious when I review peruvian good. My standard that I use for comparison is the food that you can get in peruvian territory. This place is very good. Fish was fresh and was cooked in the moment. One of the main flaws at making ceviche by other restaurants is that they leave the fish to marinate for hours. I highly recommend to request your ceviche to be spicy. If you don't like spicy food, at least order it mild spicy. The chili pepper rounds the flavor of a good ceviche. Arroz chaufa was also pretty moist and delicious. Place is owned by the chef who is an excellent cook from Northern Peru (Chepen) Service is outstanding when you have the chef taking care of business Prices were decent. This is not a cheap place. Chaufa was around 22$ the dish

Best lomo Saltado we've had. I'm half Peruvian and traveling from Cali and shared the ceviche de pescado, parihuela and lomo saltado. Delicious food and great service! Compliments to the chef! We will def be back!

Nice little restaurant tucked away in a plaza. The waiter was very welcoming. They give you a nice dish of corn kernels to snack on. I ordered the Ceviche de Maricos en Crema Tres Ajies. Beautiful presentation and the taste was awesome! Good assortment of squid , octopus, a mussel, fish and shrimp. Parking is ample. The interior is simple but decorated tastefully with Incan art on the walls.

I politely asked if the seasoning could simply be left off due to an allergy, and my request was refused. Rather than accommodating a simple dietary restriction, I was told that the dish wouldn't taste the way the chef intended. While I understand wanting to preserve the intended flavor, customer health and safety should come first--especially when dealing with allergies. I find it concerning that no effort was made to accommodate a reasonable request or even ask about the severity of the allergy. In today's restaurant industry, flexibility and customer care are important. Unfortunately, I found the service to be very unaccommodating, and given the high prices, I expected much better. Whether you live nearby or not, I would say that it is worth coming to Burtons Grill. I've been…read morehere twice and left with a happy belly full of delicious sensibly made food. Both visits were for birthdays---the first was mine, when I happened to mention to our server that we were celebrating my birthday and she helped make the experience great. She then exclaimed, "You should have told me it was your birthday! We'll give you a dessert. Would you like to take it home?" Which I did, and the Seven Layer Chocolate Cake was thoroughly enjoyed for breakfast on two different days. I still can't get over the fudge layers in the sponge sandwiched by a light, creamy chocolate mousse. The plated cake was much cuter and better dressed with surrounding raspberry sauce instead of it being in a takeout cup, but the divine tastes of that cake are unchanged. Seeing that the majority of their locations are in the north, with the southernmost locations before Florida being Virginia and South Carolina, I feel lucky that we have a location in South Florida (and a second in Boca Raton). The hostesses are friendly, as well as the servers, and each one asks about allergies in the party. I saw on their website that they have a commitment to accommodating food allergies and a protocol for communicating allergies to the staff and kitchen. The most recent visit started with us repeating allergies to our server after telling our hostess, as he wasn't informed of them. It never hurts to confirm that everyone is on the same page but it was a little odd. I'm not sure what those purple allergy cards are supposed to do if they're not written on. However, like I mentioned, they are really serious about food allergies. When we were placing orders, our server would tell us whether there were allergens in the dishes we mentioned. Our server during my first visit even went back to the kitchen to check whether there were eggs in a sauce that were in one of the dishes we were interested in, without being asked. The inside is clean, beautiful and well lit, and the bar is spacious with plenty of screens if you're able to make it in for their happy hour at the bar from 3-6 PM on Mondays-Fridays. We had the guacamole and chips ($9), which had a surprisingly generous portion of genuine guacamole to the point where we ate all of the white and blue tortilla chips that came with it. I asked our bartender if we could get more chips by any chance, and another bartender heard and went straight to the kitchen and came out with a bowl of warmed tortilla chips. I had an Old Fashioned, which was slightly sweeter than I'm used to, but still having great citrus aromas. I recommend having a cocktail on happy hour as they are typically $15-17 on the regular menu while they are $10 during happy hour. For dinner during my second visit, we were seated in a lounge appearing area to the left of the entrance with long couches for the booth seats and an unfinished cut of wood table. Let me tell you about the food before I run out of space! Bread service: I know it's weird to have to pay for bread, but that's the restaurant world we live in. It's worth the $5 to get warm, fluffy bread dressed with everything seasoning and coming with herbed butter, pesto and an olive tapenade, all a choose-your-own-bread-adventure sampler. You can tell nothing on the plate came out of a jar. Philly cheesesteak rolls: Everyone can eat all 3 of the rolls that come in this dish along with the crispy onion rings that come on top of them. Resist the urge and share the tender beef and gooey cheese inside of these rolls. NY strip: Tender, well grilled and seasoned, accompanied by tasty green beans and mashed potatoes made with just the right amount of butter where you taste more potato than butter or cream. Crab crusted haddock: A generous portion of flaky, slightly buttery haddock with an aromatic crab cake on top. We loved the jasmine rice that came with it, from the degree of cooked to a little oil covering. Lobster roll: It was a summer limited item until August 31, and I'm sorry to say it was perfectly buttered, toasted and brimming with plump lobster meat. You were able to get it cold with a cole slaw, but a hot roll is definitely the move. Did I convince you to go try their food? If not, read this again. I'll see you there.

The service is always great and just want to say we adore when our server Karen is available. Ask for her, you will be thrilled. That's not say the others aren't also spectacular at anticipating your needs and menu knowledge, but she has a sparkling personality and doesn't miss a beat. It also says a lot when someone has worked there for years and years. It says without words that employee retention is a reflection of the company itself (management and owners). I definitely highly recommend this environment for those who enjoy a lively place as there is a fun and unique way in which they honor birthdays (a great spot for these celebrations), every guest is given a wooden mallet (hammer) to break the crab shells, however, when they announce a birthday wish over the speakers throughout the array of dining room options (one being a large barge on the canal), EVERYONE bangs their mallets on the tables which creates a cacophony of sound! SO much fun, but do not go there if you have a headache or are looking for a low key atmosphere. We adore The Rustic Inn, as it also has a very New England vibe and that happens to be where I'm from. It is consistently great, and it is a little spendy, but it's CRAB, so don't expect it to be cheap. If you want a delicious meal with top tier hospitality, in a down home environment, The Rustic Inn is the best around and conveniently located right off I-95

It came with a crab ball, two frog legs, gator bites and some peel and eat shrimp in a butter garlic sauce. The shrimp were by far the best part of the platter. For entrees... I had the crab stuffed shrimp which were good but not great. The ratios were off as the shrimp were medium sized at best butterflied with a heaping mound of stuffing. If the shrimp were actually large or jumbo shrimp this ratio would be correct and the flavors would complement each other better. My beautiful date had the skippers platter which came with a strip steak and stuffed shrimp. She had the same opinion about the shrimp and the steak was cooked properly to her liking but it lacked seasoning of any type. I just had a bland beef flavor. Again, not bad, but certainly not what we had expected. Our server, Gemma did a good job taking care of us. There seemed to be a lot of folks there eating crab so perhaps they are more crab centric and that may be what shines there and what they developed their reputation on.
