    Basil spaghetti w steak bits

Wasn't particularly happy with taste. Had Basil spaghetti steak dish, definitely different basil recipe from pesto. Hot tea came at end of dinner . Waitress was very polite, nice, but not connecting what she had to do with each order.

Unassuming strip mall restaurant serving up amazing ceviche - generous portions of calamari, shrimp, seafood, in a lemon vinegar sauce. I ordered mild and it was full of flavor. Great service! Not much atmosphere, but it's all about the food! Recommended!

This Peruvian restaurant delivers solid food and good service. The ceviche was very tasty, and the chaufa de mariscos (seafood fried rice) hit the spot! Their chicha morada (purple corn drink) was a standout--refreshing and not overly sweet. My husband enjoyed the bistec a lo pobre - the steak, rice, beans, and fried egg plate. The beans were really tasty! It's a small place but worth the visit.

Rolled in with group of six for a late lunch. Seated immediately. There were three different languages spoke at the table so confusing. Carlos ordered for the table being fluent in Spanish so I really have no idea what all we ate. I did try it all. We ate family style so everything was shared. Started with a beef soup that was very flavorful and then moved on to all the other items in the pix. Food was delicious. Lots of flavors. Service was great. I also experienced the purple corn drink not sure what the official name is but I had to have two they were so good. Amazing local place. Yes we had three or four deserts and three or four main courses as well as a couple of appetizers.

This has to be my favorite Peruvian restaurant! As their menu states, "no gourmet, no fusion, traditional-classic Peruvian food"! Always a hit and never misses! Fresh and made to order as if your mother was cooking! Nice portions - moderate prices! Fernanda is always welcoming! We try to come once a week, I suggest the papa huacaina, lomo saltado con tacu tacu (steak sautéed with onion and tomatoes with crispy rice and beans) and chicharron de Pescado (lightly fried to perfection fish with marinated onions) ask for the spicy sauce and mix with the house tartar! Always a win!!!!

First time back since 2015. Not close to home. In with a friend for Friday dinner at 4. Ordered: To Start Papa a la Huancaina, a Peruvian appetizer of boiled potatoes in a spicy, creamy sauce. $9 GOOD Chaufa de Mariscos, Fried rice with seafood. $17.50 GOOD Chaufa de Carne, Fried rice with BEEF. $16.50 GOOD Both dishes were a little dry and needed a sauce to moisten them a little which they don't have. Our server (Fernanda) did a good job.

It's in a very teeny strip mall, which did not have any parking spots. But across the street is a bigger strip mall with lots of parking. So, we easily found a spot there. The dining room is nicely decorated and clean. (The bathroom was spotless.) We were first greeted by a young lady who did not speak any English. I guess I asked too many questions (in Spanish) because she gave us to the other waitress (who spoke English, but we still communicated in Spanish). I tried to order a Pollo Saltado with Tacu Tacu but was told only the Lomo Saltado could be combined with the Tacu Tacu (still not sure why). Anyway, we ordered a fish ceviche, a Tallarin Saltado de Pollo, and a Lomo Saltado. The ceviche was decent. It was nicely seasoned and lemony. However, I struggled with a few fatty pieces of fish. The Tallarin Saltado de Pollo came covered in raw scallions (eek for my raw onions allergy), which I painstakingly picked off. The waitress offered to bring me a new meal when she saw what I was doing. I declined. I guess I didn't think I needed to warn about raw scallions when I asked for my onions to be well-cooked because I am allergic to raw onions. However, it was very good. The chicken was just right, not too dry. And I had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. The Lomo Saltado, too, was tasty. But the beef was very chewy because it was overcooked. We liked that both meals had a good flavor without being too salty (a problem we have with a lot of Peruvian restaurants). The eatery seats about 40 and was half full with 1 table of 10 and 5 tables of 2. I am guessing there was a chef in the kitchen. But the two young ladies had a difficult time keeping up and service was slow. One person at the large table got their meal so late they packed it to go home. When we were done with our meal, the waitress brought us two complimentary desserts. They were Mazamorra Moradas (a gelatin-type dessert with the purple fruit and other fruits in it). It was refreshing. I think it was offered because of the raw-onion fiasco. Luner for two with ceviche and two meals was $75. The food here was decent and there was even live music (though a tad loud), but the slow service was a detriment.

Unfortunately I didn't try the desserts because I had a ceviche de pescado to start and a lomo saltado as a main dish. Parking may be an issue but I think you can park across the street in the shopping plaza.

When I tried this place I was looking for a burger and their classic did not disappoint! It was absolutely GINORMOUS, juicy flavorful and had lil pepitas on it.
