My uneven nails leaving the salon before I was able to fix them at home.

I wanted to update my review because since that one-off experience, everything has been great. Vincent and Kim are amazing and always do such a great job on my manicures. I was sad when the original nail technician who did my pedicures retired, but Cindy has been taking care of them for quite a while now and she always does an excellent job. Bonus, she gives the best massages too! The salon is always clean, and I've never had any issues with cleanliness.

I decided to try out Cherie Nails as it's very close to where I live and I've been needing to find a new nail salon as the one I've been usually going to has gone downhill. I called the day of on a Thursday to see if they could take me in for a pedicure around 3pm, and they have availability! They were super kind about taking me in and I truly appreciated it as I've been in dire need of a pedicure and I wasn't sure when I would have the time to get one. As I walked in, I noticed the salon was super cute and very spacious! Their decor was very welcoming and the worker who answered the phone when I called also greeted me and checked me in. The lady who did my pedicure was very kind as well. I'm usually the type to relax and sit back rather than talking so im glad she respected that. I got a sugar scrub and a callus removal that came with the New Moon pedicure that I selected, but I noticed that not a lot of skin came off during the callus removal. Usually, at other salons, they're able to get more skin removed, but I noticed there wasn't much of a difference to my feet. I may just pay for a regular pedicure next time. Although, the end results were very pleasing. I'm happy with the color and the way she cut my nails! I'll definitely be coming back.

I found Cherie Nails by recommendation of a friend. I always loved her nails and how natural they looked. I switched from my other nail place to have an acrylic fill with Vincent. he is awesome! he pays attention to detail, he leaves them naturally thin and not thick and fake looking. My nails are very durable (and I am not careful with my hands). The location is always clean, they have online scheduling (major plus), and everyone has been nice.

Best way to describe this place is CHEAP Lazy service, the girl did whatever she pleased. She hurt my nail bed, and didn't really consider what I wanted. Even after I told her I didn't not like them. They do favorite customers, would only recommend if you need cheap nails, with a mediocre finish. You get what you pay for‍

Gone about 4-5 times. I really enjoy getting the Nail Dip manicure there and one of the pedicures. Pedicures without gel still last me over a month. Place is very clean, neat, open, and welcoming. It's not loud, they always have nice soft music playing and cute cooking Korean shows (muted) on screen. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. Check in is super easy. Prices are displayed on their menu. Payment is easy too. Apple Pay accepted, no fees charged for paying with card and tip can also be done using this payment option. Very convenient and they've been able to see me at 6pm on weekends with no wait! Vincent is my fave.

I am always browsing for a good nail place in the area. A lot of these nail shops are always under new management. Anyway, I browsed and saw Cherie and decided to call and make an appt. I had a regular pedi and it was $25. I didn't get the guy's name but he did a great job! My toes were perfectly cleaned, trimmed and painted. I am planning on going again and definitely trying out dipped nails or maybe gel x. The place is pretty new and definitely clean. They also have a points system, not sure how many points you receive for each treatment and what are the rewards.

Worst place to get your nails done, came in for a pedicure, water wasn't hot as requested, no callus remover after I got the same pedicure last time and received it 2 weeks prior. No massage on feet , and no wrap with hot towel. Everything was rushed and paid $15 extra for gel polish which wasn't told before... $53 pedicure for a rushed unsatisfied rude service. Requested nails to be done at the same time , they said they didn't have time when I was there mid day? Ok never again. read more

Came for 1st time, 1 because it opens early, 2 because it's close to my house, and 3 because I wanted to try this new place. Now the service was excellent, I was treated so great from the owner or manager. He was so nice. He gave me water and checked on me to make sure I was doing fine. Now my feet was done so nice, I love the way the lady removed and clean all my dead skin. The salon was clean and classy looking, the music was fine. I would definitely be back. The new owners of this salon are the absolute best! The place is so clean and everything is new. I had a problem with the gel (it peeled within a couple days) I went back in at the week mark and they fixed it for me no problem. Then when I went in a couple weeks later for my next appointment the owner let me know they stopped using that kind of gel. Really shows me their commitment to quality. read more

First visit was today. I got a full set of Acrylic nails and my friend and I both got the Sea Breeza Pedicure and it was great! They were very sweet and attentive. Vincent did a great job on my Acrylics and Ann was gentle on my feet. We got carried away talking and they never hurried us out or asked us to leave. I will definitely go back! The nail salon was taken over by new management about a month ago. I've been coming here for pedicures with Connie for 2 years and I would never go anywhere else!! I am EXTREMELY picky and she does AMAZING. It's been hard to find a nail tech I like since I moved to the area.... since new ownership took over she's asked me to give it a try. Like I said I'm very very very Picky!! Kinda of a pain in the ass...I notice everything wrong‍ well I decided to give it a try today and had my acrylics taken off and got a dipping powder manicure....I WAS VERY VERY SATISFIED Vincent did my nails. My sister and I went here for the first time. I had bog fear of going to nail salon due to previous painful experience with a heavy handed nail tech and infection. We were both very guarded. Then they started working on the cleaning and wow, they were light handed. My sister had 2 males working on her and she was really happy on how light handed they were. My fear went out the door. Very disappointed with todays service. I only go here for pedicures since the 1st and only time I got gelx they fell off within a week, I've been getting gelx for 3 yrs and that's never happened. Usually Kim or her mom does my pedis and I love them but today was terrible, my feet weren't cleaned and no massage just a dab of lotion and done, the color also didn't match the book so I pretty much walked out spending $75 and was not happy!!! read more

This place really hates business because the last two times I called they don't give a wait time just right away "oh sorry we're full". Walked in and there was only 4-5 people in there. Last minute decision to get my nails done today. Searched on yelp what would be available and close by. I've been to a few other nail shops in the area but wanted to try somewhere new so I decided to try Cherie nails... the photos on Yelp looked super cute inside and other people shared good experiences. Vincent helped me out and did an amazing job on my nails. I was just looking for a simple dip manicure and he went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. Very lovely salon and friendly customer service from all the staff. I definitely recommend this place. Will be back soon! read more

Meet the Manager: Vincent V.

I have been working in the Nails Industry since 2013. Before that, I graduated with Graphic Design and have more than 3 years of experience. The working environment where I had to sit in front of the computer for eight hours every single day made me decide to switch to a new direction for myself, so that I could learn many new things as well as the intention of opening my own business in the future. In 2020, I got married, then I decided to fulfill my dream by opening a nails salon for myself and my family in Glendora after more than 8 years of experience.

She did not realize that I speak Vietnamese, so I understood everything being said. The situation made me very uncomfortable and felt extremely unprofessional. Despite this, I still left a tip, and she proceeded to comment on the amount, which only added to the disrespect. When I said goodbye to her in Vietnamese and let her know that I understood the conversation, it was clear she had not expected that. Professionalism and respect should be a given in any service environment, and it's definitely lacking here. I will not be returning. For potential customers considering this salon, be aware that conversations you don't understand may not always be appropriate.

Polish was left on my fingers, nails were put on crooked, and what polish they got on my skin should have been on the sides of the nails. Pedicure was good however the man doing the pedicure was a bit rude. Had been to this place once before and he had the same attitude then as well. Will absolutely not be returning.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!
