Cha for tea is one of my favorite boba place. Been coming here for a long time since I went to csulb days. I love that they have the samples for you to try. My favorite is the almond milk tea with boba. The boba is fresh and soft. The almond milk tea is so good, the drinks are sweet at full strength with 4 pumps, so i suggest getting maybe 2-3 pumps first.

Great food for price. Crispy chicken with yummy salad and noodles. Also drinks are a must. Great mango green tea with boba. Boba pearl texture is perfect. The sauce costs extra so I don't order it. Chicken still tastes good even without seasoning. Service was great and quick with online ordering. Ambiance is casual-- great for lunch dates, picking up food during work lunch, catching up with friends, etc. Would come again!

A bit of a hard one, but it was just ok for me. Service, location, speed of drink being ready were are great. I ordered one of my go to drinks which I often get when first trying a new place. Compared to other places, it didn't match up. They offer various levels of sweetness which was a definitely plus. I just found my matcha beverage to be very light in taste, almost watery, but with the sweetness of boba. Layered for a nice presentation which made it photo worthy, but ended there for me. Wouldn't run back here although the menu had lots to offer.

Cha has a special place in my heart as it's the first boba I EVER tried when I was 18 and a freshman at CSULB. I was obsessed from my first sip of almond black milk tea. I've since lived in San Diego for 10 years where I tried 20+ other boba shops but always longed for Cha's boba. I moved back to Long Beach this year and I'm ecstatic to live near a Cha For Tea again; it's just as delicious as I remember! I used to only get the ABMT, but I've ventured out and also love the honey green milk tea. The iced mango green tea goes so hard in the summer -- with or without boba! The service is always friendly and efficient. Aside from the drinks being delicious, they're also very CONSISTENT, which is so valuable in a place you get drinks. Not to mention it's a great place to get some homework done -- there's 7 or 8 tables, plus a couple outside. Love you forever, Cha For Tea. I hope I always live near a location so I can be a customer for life.

I haven't been here in like a year and oh how I missed the mango green tea so much. It's all I really get here so if it's your first time here or don't know what to get, I think you should get that. It's also probably their most popular drink for a reason. There's a good amount of tables to sit and it's a nice setting for a boba spot. The service is really good here, my gf and I came in like 20 minutes before closing because we were in the area while they were mopping to close and still served us with no push back. There's also a lot of fundy's from CSULB clubs that happen here so that's cool too and could get packed quick.

First time trying this boba shop, recommended by my friend. I always like to try Thai tea at these types of shop as a base line. Unfortunately their Thai tea tasted watered down and not sweet. If it wasn't for the boba it would have been bland. However the crispy chicken with the sweet and sour sauce was delicious. I would definitely go back for the chicken appetizer and maybe try a different drink and hope their other options are a bit better.

Great Tea Shop! In addition to drinks, they serve food! A lot of great drinks on their menu, milk teas and others. I ordered three drinks to go. Matcha Latte with Boba, Passionfruit Refresher with Boba (very refreshing!), and a strawberry smoothie. Ww all.enjoyed our drinks! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The drinks were made very quickly. Definitely will be back!

Cha for Tea has a special place in my heart. There used to be a location near me, but now I have to make a drive just to have this nostalgic experience. I was in the area and this is my first time visiting this location in Long Beach. I came an hour before closing time and I must say this location is smelly from the parking lot all the way to the entrance. Not sure if it's from wastewater. I tolerated the awful scent, just for Iced apple green tea, Iced almond black milk tea with boba and crispy chicken medium spicy. The flavor is still the same all these years and I can only hope someone will open a location near me again.

This place was busy on a Saturday at 6:15. It was actually the fastest I've ever had a drink come out ever, but it just wasn't good. The boba itself wasn't good and the pudding was even worse. I won't come back if I want a drink. I haven't been to a Cha for tea since college 10 years ago, but it used to be the spot

I work in the area so I come here a lot. Love their lunch combo and appetizers. Very good price and good portion. My favorite is the crispy chicken. I probably tried everything on the menu: grilled chicken, orange chicken, dumpling, tofu, pork sausage, etc. They were all ok. I like their passionfruit tea (no sugar) and with boba.

Such nice people clean bathroom and AMAZING boba probably best in Long Beach! Also great food options if you're hungry!

The passion fruit was good but I've had better milk tea but, the vibes were good and it's clean and nice to hangout in there!

Very cute small place opposite the VA hospital. Great Boba and tea. Friendly service and decent price. I tried the crispy chicken spicy with rice, noodles and corn. The chicken was quite good, crunchy and tasty.

Bottom Line Up Front: The Crema Cafe is a bakery and…read morerestaurant that will satisfy both your sweet tooth and savory craving -- so long as you don't mind paying a premium. The Food: In the past, I've come only for the dessert, but this review will focus on my most recent visit when my wife and I had brunch here. I ordered the quiche Lorraine, a classic variety that featured ham, cheese, and bacon. It was firm, hearty, and delicious. The wife thought it was a little dry, but then again I like hard boiled eggs and she prefers them runny, so I chalk it up to personal preference. My wife had the breakfast burrito, which was stuffed with all kinds of goodness, including egg, ham, bacon, and chorizo con papa. We both really liked it but thought it had just a hint of sausage. If it was more meaty, it would have been flawless. The Location: It's located on Main Street near the beach, so street parking is extremely limited. I came on a Tuesday morning and didn't have an issue, but lunchtime and weekends are insnae. Visit off peak hours to avoid the traffic jam or a long wait. The Setting: Crema is a medium sized establishment, with about half the space taken up by the bakery line. Fortunately, there's an outdoor seating area with about another 10 tables. Since we brought our dogs, we chose the latter option and enjoyed the shade provided by the umbrellas. Everything is clean and well organized. The Service: The customer service is great. The staff was all polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. The Price: This is really the only con: everything is 10% to 20% more expensive here. I call it the beach tax. Shops along any beach can implement it because people are willing to pay it in order to enjoy the amenities and location. The Conclusion: The Crema Cafe is one of our go-to restaurants for brunch and dessert any time we come to Seal Beach. It's not flawless, but we always leave happy.

I went into javatinis since it was right there and I felt bad about just asking for a water without paying so I ordered an iced latte (even though I don't care for their drinks). After I had already paid, I asked them politely for an iced water. They said they would have to charge. I was like "what? Even though I paid for a drink?" And the girl said "yes we charge for the cost of the cup." So pathetic. So I walked over to bogarts fully expecting to have to pay for something else I didn't need just to get an iced water for my toddler. The girl at bogarts, without hesitation, gave me an iced water. The carpets and walls are "rustic" if you're being generous, but honestly they looked cigarette-stained and filthy. The service was atrocious too. It took nearly THIRTY MINUTES just to get tea. Tea. Not a five-course meal. Then we waited OVER AN HOUR for finger sandwiches that tasted like cafeteria scraps. Most of the food was genuinely awful. The only remotely edible items were the tomato soup, cucumber/egg sandwich, and chicken quiche -- except the quiche wasn't even included and cost an extra $22, which is insane for a place already charging premium prices for mediocrity. The "egg sandwich" was basically stale yellow bread with microscopic traces of egg. And whoever decided HAM AND BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE belonged in a finger sandwich needs to be fired immediately. Even the table decor looked terrible. Every table had random mismatched pieces from different sets instead of a cohesive theme, so the whole place just felt cluttered, lazy, and disorganized. Nothing about this experience felt charming or intentional. I waited over an hour to eat garbage in a room that smelled like dust and neglect. Absolutely do not recommend. I wasn't paying, but the experience costed over $100 (including $60 from a groupon).
