Love, love, love this ramen spot! The broth here is so flavorful and not salty. My usual is the shoyu ramen because I love how fresh it tastes. I'm a sukiyaki broth lover, so it's somewhat similar to that taste profile. I like how they also provide garlic and house spicy sauce as it just makes the ramen even better and seals the deal. The crispy rice with spicy tuna is perfection-- you get the bottom bed of crisp with fresh avocados, spicy tuna, and a kick of jalapeño. They also provide watermelon infused water, which was perfect for a warm day out. Although this restaurant is quite small, service was fast and very accommodating. I have been here several times and service plus quality of the food never changes! Seats here don't have any back support but it adds to the modern aesthetic and vibe of the restaurant. I've been eyeing the cucumber crab salad, so I look forward to coming back and trying it next time.

This is a 4.5 for me, but the customer service from Mel and Cassandra bumped it to at 5. I was supposed to try HiroNori for a Yelp Elite event, but unfortunately my plane landed later than expected yesterday, so I missed out. But I had heard so many great things about HiroNori that I wanted to try it anyways. My brother especially kept hyping them up, and he LOVES ramen. And I'm glad I decided to try them out! While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great. They do not have tipping, instead they have a service charge of a little over 17%. Definitely worth it!

SALMON POKÉ RICE BOWL (S) - I omitted corn and baby kale

Writing this review on the food we ordered - salmon poke and pork buns - because I know they are known for their ramen. I was craving poke and my boyfriend came across this place. We ordered via third party app because the preparation of the poke sounded intriguing and different. The food came in cute packaging. When we opened the containers, in my opinion there was too much rice/quinoa to fish portion. I did enjoy the taste of the poke. It had bits of sour notes from the apple dressing, which is different from what you normally order with poke. The avocado balances out the sourness. And the poke surprisingly pairs well with quinoa. The pork buns were really delicious! It has that umami taste you look for when eating pork. The meat was very tender - easy to bite and chew. The bun was nice and soft - had good texture. And the onions that came on it was good. You don't get that oniony, bitter taste that lingers in your mouth. Overall, I enjoyed the food. Poke was good but idk if I'd order it again because the rice-fish portions are off. But I definitely need to try the ramen cos I know that's what they're known for.

This is my first time trying HiroNori ramen, I've only ordered one of their chicken bowls because my family took it to go and I don't like getting ramen to-go like that. Came here again recently with my friends and I waited about 20 minutes for a table and we all ordered the Shoyu Ramen. I got chicken instead of pork. It wasn't too salty and the flavor was good. Wish there were a little bit more noodles portioned in. Couple of things we didn't like was how other parties that got there later than us were being called up before us. Also my buddy found a piece of hair in his ramen but we just decided not to say anything because he was hungry lol.

    CRISPY RICE WITH SPICY TUNA

I've been to the Torrance location and it's been my favorite ramen for a while, this location is just as great too! There's plenty of parking and seating. The servers were very friendly, if not a bit slow with bringing out the food. I was a bit disappointed that they did not have their full drink menu. I think they need to have a modified menu if they are not serving everything on there as I had planned to get a drink with my meal. The tuna crispy rice is amazing and I wish we could get more in an order. The edamame was good but I wish it was salted since most of the yuzu was at the bottom. My favorite ramen is the shoyu but the tonkotsu is great too!

FOOD: Tonkotsu- A+ the broth for this delicious noodle soup is something I have thought about several times. In a good way. It was delicious and still piping hot. The soup had a lot of good stuff in it. Seaweed, a tea egg and tender, tasty pork. Pork buns-A. The bun was soft and fresh. The pork was nicely seasoned and lean for pork belly. Vegan gyoza- C. I'm sure if I was vegan I would love this. The filling was mushy. Crispy chicken- B. These reminded me of chicken strips. The condensation from traveling made them less crispy. Crispy rice with spicy tuna- A. I'm glad I got three of these. I could've eaten them all myself, but I shared them. The crispy rice made a unique bed for the spicy tuna. I would have this and the tonkotsu again. SERVICE: the service was weird. I called in my order and was 10 minutes late and my order wasn't ready. That doesn't bug me because I know the food was going to be fresh. I went outside to wait for my order and the lady at the counter said she would bring it out to me. About three minutes later I saw her leaving the establishment and getting in her car. I fought the crowd and went in and got my order. The food was neatly packaged. AMBIENCE: lunchtime on a cold Friday. The place was packed. I had called in my order and I am glad I did. The wait for a table was over 30 minutes.

I've been driving by here for a while now and finally had the opportunity to try it. We were seated right away and our server took our order right away. We ordered some buns and noodles. It was delicious! Service was excellent! Wish the menu had more options though. I'll have to come by again another time.

A solid ramen spot! I went right when they opened and the food was very good. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The place itself was very clean and well kept. Customer service was great too. They will not seat you unless your entire party is there and there was a 17% surcharge on the bill too.

Lunch with some friends and this was their pick. It was a great one and I was very pleased with it. The parking was a little confusing as there was construction going on in the back area where parking and the front entrance is. It shares parking with a couple other business and the entrance is just off the alleyway off Carson. Construction in the back did halt some of the parking spaces and entrance on one side. I didn't know where the entrance was walking around the block which found out later that the entrance was where parking is. I believe you could get on the waitlist but it was still early during lunch time when we arrived that it wasn't necessary. The restaurant itself isn't that big. A good amount of Asian modern style seating. Menu is pretty limited but gets down to the punch. Ramen, a couple of rice dishes and starters. Basically it. They had some alcoholic drink options too. We started off with some beers, the crispy chicken which was really nice. Thick chunks of thighs lightly deep fried and served with a dipping sauce. Juicy and tender. Entrees, the tonkatsu which you could make into a combo that comes with a side salad, and with salmon poke bowl or spicy tuna bowl for an additional fee. The broth for the ramen was quite tasty and paired really well with everything that added to it. And very filling. Also had the pork rice bowl with pork chashu, green onions, poached egg, spinach on top of rice. That was quite tasty and filling as well. There's a small and large option. Lastly the vegan ramen with sesame miso broth, broccolini, corn, bean sprouts, soy meat, tofu, baby kale with chili oil. Food was quite tasty and very filling. Service was great with friendly staff. Didn't take long for the items to arrive. The place isn't that big so it does get busy.

My first visit to this Long Beach location and my second visit to a Hiro Nori and it didn't disappoint at all! I got the order to go and it was packaged perfectly separating the ramen from the ingredients. Angel who took my order was super welcoming and friendly. She offered me some infused water while I waited for my order. Inside is relaxed and modern and spacious. The ramen was delicious when I got it home and the perfect lunch!

    Sarah M.

Hands down my one of favorite ramen place! Super solid and reliable. Any friend will love it. If you're super hungry, you can add a small rice bowl. They have a parking lot. It can get busy on certain nights so you might have to wait.

    Cait S.

Omg this place is AWESOME. Loved it. It's a gorgeous restaurant. The service was excellent. The ramen was amazing. Would love to come back!

Everything is always so fresh! I was hesitant about coming back because of the parking but I went on a slower day and found plenty of parking. Service was great and I forgot they had a 17% OPTIONAL service charge which I don't mind because it is optional. When I got there, a few more people came in and it felt crowded and it got hot inside. If I come back during the summer I'll probably take it to go.

Yes it comes with veggies as well

    Do you offer gluten-free noodles?

The noodles are wheat noodles . So I don't think so.

What's in the vegan ramen broth? Looks like milk?! I can't have milk

No all ramens don't come spicy you add the spicy sauce that they have on the side .

Hi there! We probably won't get beef for awhile but you can always add Chicken to the Vegan Ramen. You can also do a Broth Change for any of our ramen for $1. So you can order the Tonkotsu Ramen and change the Broth to Vegan. I'm not sure if this…

I felt welcomed by the cool tones of the interior design and layout actually. We waited by the door as a party of two. Not too long after we entered were we greeted by the hosted and seated outdoors, as we requested. Even though it is on fourth street which has plenty of street traffic, it was still a quiet, comfortable dining experience. Every thing on the menu looked and sounded amazing but I planned to try the ramen because I've been craving a good bowl of ramen for a while. I landed on the shoyu ramen with tofu. I really enjoyed the taste of the broth. The flavor and seasoning was soul-healing. I don't usually go with plain chicken broth in ramen but I felt confident in my choice. I was literally happy dancing with each bite. The ramen was so good! My partner went with a spicy order of tonkotsu ramen with chicken, garlic, and black oil sauce. I tried parts of it and it was also delicious! I wanted to try the sushi but did not have that big of an appetite for both sushi and ramen so I opted for the salmon poke tacos. They tasted very savory and the salmon was flavored really well. The temperature and consistency was not too overwhelming for the tacos shell. The service was attentive and not too invasive. We took the check to the counter to pay. I am excited for our next trip here. It is dangerously walking distance for us! We came in specifically to order two coco cloud matchas and requested extra matcha cloud. The cashier/server explicitly agreed to our request. However, when he handed us the drinks, I was in total dismay-the matcha cloud wasn't even at a normal level, let alone extra. It was literally just a splash, leaving us with mostly coconut water. When I politely pointed this out, the employee told me to "just mix it and it'll taste good." When I said I wanted what I paid for and asked for more matcha, he shrugged it off and said they were running out and couldn't do anything. Customer service goes a long way. He could have easily offered a partial refund, explained the shortage before taking our order, or made more. Instead, I paid for a specialty drink that tasted like plain coconut water. Disappointing experience for a place I usually enjoy. It's truly bothering me that if they were running out of ingredients, they should have told us beforehand rather than charging us for a specialty drink and giving us a watered-down version with zero accountability. Very disappointing customer service today.

Didn't give us menus until 10 minutes after Sitting down. Didn't come back to take our drinks, by the time she did come to ask for our drinks. We already had our whole order ready so ordered at once. Mind you the restaurant was empty besides one family finishing up and we asked for a two Ramen with toppings like vegetables on the side. And she says OK. Puts the order n and comes back with our Ramen full of all the toppings and walks away. We proceed to look confused because we asked for a toppings on the side and she did not come back until we're taking off all of the toppings When she comes back, she brushes it off like it was no problem and gives us terrible attitude for the rest of the time like we put the toppings on our own Ramen. She asked if everything is OK despite messing up our order. we had to sit there for 10 extra minutes, taking out all the vegetables and stuff that we asked for all of the side. My only problem was that she's proceeded to charge us full price, and we had to pay for food that we couldn't enjoy fully because what we asked for was not given to us. And it was overcharged food that wasn't great or worth paying that much after getting our order messed up.

A pretty good local ramen place with very kind staff! It's not where you'd go for authentic…read moreJapanese ramen but it does a great job still. I got the vegetable miso ramen with spice level 2. It wasn't too spicy but I could also do without it because it was more of a numbing rather than flavorful spice. The regular noodles are a little thin but they're plentiful! There was a part that was kind of clumped together in my soup though. The broth was more just savory and salty but nothing really stood out as miso or anything different. I appreciate that they have a fair amount of bok choy and bean sprouts. And the tofu was really good too! It was covered in tempura so was almost agedashi-like but they only did give 2 pieces. Our waiter, Hector, was helpful, kind and continually attentive so shoutout to him! Prices are reasonable for ramen too. Glad I got to try!

Cute interior for a ramen shop. Beautiful wood accents and neon signs bring the vibe to life…read more Service was great. The food is better than average. Ramen competition in LB is stiff. Cucumber salad was the only fresh/light vegetable option on the menu. Decent but nothing to write home about. Ramen had solid flavor. I like that you can pick your spice level. The pork was fatty and delicious. I wish they put less noodles. I did order the thick ones which cost a bit more but the ratio was WAYY off. My bowl was 75% noodles which didn't leave room for much soup and the fillings were lost in the mix. I had enough left overs for a full second serving - so great to share!
