Unfortunately, after my husband was involved in an accident with the vehicle, the customer service experience went downhill. We were never fully informed about the extent of the damages. We were only told that the repairs were extensive and that the insurance company wanted to total the vehicle. While the dealership did advocate for the vehicle to be repaired since we hadn't had it long -- which we appreciated -- the communication afterward was extremely poor. Communication with the representative, Jose, was unacceptable. I repeatedly requested updates, documentation of the damages, and a detailed list of parts being replaced, but was consistently given the runaround. On top of that, his tone became condescending. At one point, he asked my husband a question and then said, "Oh wait, or do I need to ask her?" -- which was disrespectful and unprofessional. As a paying customer, I expected transparency and respect. Instead, I felt dismissed and spoken down to. Based on this experience, I would caution female customers about working with this representative. Clear communication and professionalism should not depend on who you are.

I found on…read moreautolist.com a 2014 Toyota Tundra Truck posted by Cartex Motors, a Houston, TX based family-owned used car dealer. According to Autolist.com, which they "CARTEX Motors" posted this 2014 Toyota Tundra truck listing it at $4,000 for this truck (see photo). Insane right!!! Called 1 Jan 2025 inquiring about 2014 Toyota Tundra CrewMax SR5. I spoke with a young lady, who sounded she could be between the ages of 16 to 19 years old. When asked about the listing she stated that the car is $19,995 and $4000 down. I informed her of the posting which stated the tundra was listed as being only $4,000 not $19,995. She had no clue to what I was talking about and tried to brush it off. There was no attempt to verify what I was talking about. I asked about the carfax and if can being sent to me so I can review it before I made my decision to purchase a flight to look at the truck. She said " WE DO NOT SHOW THE CARFAX UNTIL ALL PAPERS ARE SIGNED" (RED FLAG!!!!!!!!!) but she did assure me it had a clean title. She also stated " The title of the car is a clean title because she can visual see the title at that moment." It was apparent this young lady should have passed the phone to an adult who knew what they are talking about. Based on this conversation I end the phone removing this 2014 Toyota Tundra and inexperienced company from my list of possibilities. Based my conversation with the young lady (who answered the phone), posting of 2014 Toyota Tundra on Autolist.com, and past reviews I can only conclude the Following. 1. Poor customer service 2. Bait and switch 3. Inexperienced staff This dealership's owner and staff have a lot of growing to do in more ways than one. In conclusion, my interaction with CARTEX Motors and based on all past reviews I agree they are spot on. If you wish to do business with this company, BE VERY CAUTIOUS

This place is an absolute SCAM. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!…read more I had done my due diligence and contacted this place 10 months before I went to buy my car. I paid around 1,000.00 for a credit restoration package that was supposed to take six months. Then, I paid an additional thousand dollars for their 'Trade Line' credit card. They SAID it was supposed to get you an INSTANT 50-75 point boost. Which is absolute bull$hit. I was monitoring my credit with credit karma (also another scam) and it was showing I had a 735 credit score when I went to go buy my beautiful, expensive car. I put 10,000.00 down and when I asked to see my credit score they told me I had a 660. I was PISSED. What I was expecting to get a 2% APR for all of my hard work with a thousand dollar a month car payment turned into 7% APR and a 1,500.00 month car payment. THE ONLY REASON I WAS STILL ABLE TO GET THIS CAR WAS BECAUSE I DID ALL THE WORK OF PAYING OFF MY DEBT AHEAD OF TIME AND PUTTING DOWN A LARGE DOWN PAYMENT. This place is an absolute joke and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Also I am NOT the kind of person to leave reviews of any kind. But I want to help others from falling into this trap. DO NOT GIVE THESE FOOLS ANY OF YOUR MONEY. IT is 100% A SCAM. BUYER BEWARE.

What I don't understand is how you expect someone to make their payment when you turn their vehicle off and prevent them from getting to work to earn the money to pay you. I was already struggling and trying to figure out how to get my payment together. Instead of showing any understanding or working with me, Shabana Motors turned my car off. Now I'm stuck without transportation and unable to get to work -- the very place I need to go to make the money to pay my car note. That makes absolutely NO sense. I'm not asking for my payment to be forgiven. I'm asking for a little understanding and reasonable communication when someone is clearly trying to get the money together. Turning off somebody's transportation when they depend on that vehicle to work only makes the situation worse. This experience has shown me that once they want their money, they don't seem to care what position they put their customer in. If you depend on your vehicle to get to work and take care of your family, think very carefully before financing with Shabana Motors. I regret doing business with them and would not recommend them to anyone based on how I have been treated.

Thankfully, rain made today a slow business day and I was next in line. Tireni was assigned to my appraisal. Took a quick 2 minute survey of my details, and put my car through the process. They estimate. 30-40 processing period. I gave up my keys at 2:10p, my car was moved at 2:17, returned at 2:32 and I received my appraisal at 2:43. A very well timed process. Fast forward a month, I ordered a car to be delivered from Louisiana location for a test a drive. $200 non-refundable. It took two weeks and the tracker sucked, rarely updated. But it eventually came in. And the test drive process was a breeze, again in and out in less than 20. The gal hated the car (Genesis gv70 Electrified). Too cramped, but very pretty. Despite this, CarMax completed the sale for only $4,600 without clearly explaining why the newly issued $5,000 offer was not honored before I signed. I clearly specified the year, make, model AND trim. The person I spoke with on the phone confirmed that it was indeed still available for inspection, and could be looked at during any of their open office hour times. With that confirmation in mind, I then placed a $200+ order with a PPI inspection company to schedule an appointment. Hours later I heard back from the PPI inspector who had arrived at the dealership; but with bad news --- apparently, the vehicle had already been sold, potentially days before I had even called the dealership that morning. This was despite the PPI inspector also having separately called up the dealership ahead of driving over and also confirming that the vehicle was available for an inspection that day. All said and done, I may ultimately have wasted a couple of hundred dollars needlessly on an inspection that wasn't even possible to take place in the first place. Motors on Wheels needs to train their staff better to confirm that their vehicles are in fact available for inspection when requested, as well as drop their listings from their website once they're sold. Having potential customers needlessly waste their money on impossible inspections is a senseless waste of money that could be easily prevented with better safeguards and training. If the dealership can't ensure against simple issues like this, I can't help but wonder what other sorts of issues exist at their dealership that aren't as readily visible. I unfortunately cannot recommend this dealership.
