Unfortunately, after my husband was involved in an accident with the vehicle, the customer service experience went downhill. We were never fully informed about the extent of the damages. We were only told that the repairs were extensive and that the insurance company wanted to total the vehicle. While the dealership did advocate for the vehicle to be repaired since we hadn't had it long -- which we appreciated -- the communication afterward was extremely poor. Communication with the representative, Jose, was unacceptable. I repeatedly requested updates, documentation of the damages, and a detailed list of parts being replaced, but was consistently given the runaround. On top of that, his tone became condescending. At one point, he asked my husband a question and then said, "Oh wait, or do I need to ask her?" -- which was disrespectful and unprofessional. As a paying customer, I expected transparency and respect. Instead, I felt dismissed and spoken down to. Based on this experience, I would caution female customers about working with this representative. Clear communication and professionalism should not depend on who you are.

According to Autolist.com, which they "CARTEX Motors" posted this 2014 Toyota Tundra truck listing it at $4,000 for this truck (see photo). Insane right!!! Called 1 Jan 2025 inquiring about 2014 Toyota Tundra CrewMax SR5. I spoke with a young lady, who sounded she could be between the ages of 16 to 19 years old. When asked about the listing she stated that the car is $19,995 and $4000 down. I informed her of the posting which stated the tundra was listed as being only $4,000 not $19,995. She had no clue to what I was talking about and tried to brush it off. There was no attempt to verify what I was talking about. I asked about the carfax and if can being sent to me so I can review it before I made my decision to purchase a flight to look at the truck. She said " WE DO NOT SHOW THE CARFAX UNTIL ALL PAPERS ARE SIGNED" (RED FLAG!!!!!!!!!) but she did assure me it had a clean title. She also stated " The title of the car is a clean title because she can visual see the title at that moment." It was apparent this young lady should have passed the phone to an adult who knew what they are talking about. Based on this conversation I end the phone removing this 2014 Toyota Tundra and inexperienced company from my list of possibilities. Based my conversation with the young lady (who answered the phone), posting of 2014 Toyota Tundra on Autolist.com, and past reviews I can only conclude the Following. 1. Poor customer service 2. Bait and switch 3. Inexperienced staff This dealership's owner and staff have a lot of growing to do in more ways than one. In conclusion, my interaction with CARTEX Motors and based on all past reviews I agree they are spot on. If you wish to do business with this company, BE VERY CAUTIOUS

I paid around 1,000.00 for a credit restoration package that was supposed to take six months. Then, I paid an additional thousand dollars for their 'Trade Line' credit card. They SAID it was supposed to get you an INSTANT 50-75 point boost. Which is absolute bull$hit. I was monitoring my credit with credit karma (also another scam) and it was showing I had a 735 credit score when I went to go buy my beautiful, expensive car. I put 10,000.00 down and when I asked to see my credit score they told me I had a 660. I was PISSED. What I was expecting to get a 2% APR for all of my hard work with a thousand dollar a month car payment turned into 7% APR and a 1,500.00 month car payment. THE ONLY REASON I WAS STILL ABLE TO GET THIS CAR WAS BECAUSE I DID ALL THE WORK OF PAYING OFF MY DEBT AHEAD OF TIME AND PUTTING DOWN A LARGE DOWN PAYMENT. This place is an absolute joke and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Also I am NOT the kind of person to leave reviews of any kind. While I'm ultimately satisfied with my vehicle and appreciative of the support I received from Mr. Abdul and Edward, my overall experience was unfortunately impacted by the conduct of one particular employee. ....Please steer clear of Mrs. Shawn!! She's a scammer, bully, liar and manipulator. She's very deceptive, rude, ghetto and unprofessional. She will finesse & falsify your paperwork and ask for a larger down payment $2000 or more to pocket the money under the table. She will write her friend's name down on your application as if they referred you to also pocket the $500 referral fee fraudulently. Additionally, I believe there may be a concerning connection between Mrs. Shawn, Mrs. Maria, and other individuals in the payments department, raising further questions about her being able to have them print checks on demand. When I brought these concerns to management, rather than being addressed calmly and professionally, Mrs. Shawn reacted with hostility--yelling, getting in my face, and behaving in a manner that I found loud, aggressive, and entirely inappropriate for a customer service setting. Several other staff members appeared visibly uncomfortable, which suggests that this may be a broader issue that warrants further attention. The staff here is literally terrified of this wicked individual. I showed proof, asked for the cameras to be pulled, and she still was still able to manipulate her way out. I respectfully recommend that senior management, particularly Mr. Abdul, review this matter closely. Ensuring integrity and accountability at all levels will help protect future customers from similar experiences and uphold the dealership's reputation. Despite these challenges, I sincerely appreciate Mr. Abdul for eventually taking the time to meet with me and help rectify part of the situation. After multiple visits over a two-week period, he refunded a portion of the funds she pocketed, which I greatly appreciate.

Good morning, I purchased a grey Honda HR-V on 05/01/26. This SUV was returned on 05/19/26 due to concerns you each received in an email dated 05/02/26 (11:32 am). I would like it noted and I did call on 05/19/26 to speak with a Sales Manager regarding the excellent service I received from Robert and Wausaun, this portion of my experience was seamless. After receiving my new white Honda HR-V on 05/19/26 during my drive home the TPMS light came on. I called the Customer Service number and was notified that due to it being after 6 pm service was closed. I arrived at 7:28 am on 05/20/26 and was assisted by Ishmael. I explained to him the aforementioned and was met with the following: 1. He stated that my issue could not be resolved because I did not have an appointment. - I stated that I just wanted the air pressure checked because after I left on 05/19/26 Discount Tire Co was closed and on 05/20/26 they had yet to open as I stated previously I arrived at 7:28. 2. Ishmael also stated that I could leave the car and when Service had an opportunity the car could be checked. - I pointed out that I had to go to work, which he then stated I could receive a courtesy ride share. My position is itinerant meaning I am not stationary and need my car for work. Upon further prodding Ishmael took the SUV to check the PSI. Why this many conversational turns took place with no one in service that needed to be assisted is beyond my understanding. When Ishmael returned he stated that the PSI was low on the front two tires and overinflated on the back two tires. I asked "what was the PSI supposed to be" he proceeds to "mansplain" what PSI is WHEN THAT WAS NOT THE QUESTION ASKED. In lieu of listening to listen he listened to respond. He also stated that the TPMS light would go off after driving, which I understand because this is my 3rd Honda purchase from your location and second issue across 2 different cars with Service. I drove out of my way to ensure the light would turn off, it did not. I watched a YouTube video and recalibrated it myself. I am not employed by Carmax nor do I appreciate having to do someone's job had customer service been his priority this morning, it took a matter of 3 minutes. Again, no one was waiting in the service bay other than myself. Considering that Carmax is facing a challenging time and consumers such as myself still choose to do business with you because of Salesmen such as Robert, Wasuan and notable mention "Peter" who I purchased my first Honda from while in college is beyond me. I am naturally skeptical of any used car dealership even more so one that has so many high ranking reviews. I didn't initially believe it and thought they were fake. Boy was I wrong! Joad (Sales Manager) & Zuri (Sales Agent) do business the old school way. They stand behind their product, no B.S. Bait & Switch, and take care of their customers to no end! They offer a 7-day warranty on there vehicles and dont just sell you junk that you have to be worried about breaking down the minute you roll off the lot. They sold me a solid business van for my fleet, that had low miles and it was the cheapest priced vehicle online in the entire country. They are in business for the long haul and understand the importance of reputation. They treat people with the upmost respect regardless of price on car, like some other dealerships. Motors on Wheels went above and beyond for me to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the esthetics and mechanical integrity of my vehicle, which gave me peace of mind! Never experienced this level of customer service and professionalism from any dealership, not even the big manufacturer dealerships. They earned my business for life. I will be purchasing all of my future business vehicles from them!
