Drunken noodle is spicy stir-fried broad rice noodle with basil, onion and bell peppers. It's delicious and packed with flavor! The mini spring rolls were crispy. I walked into Lemon Leaf Thai Restaurant to pickup my order and it was right on the counter. It was quite busy inside too. All my friends really enjoyed the beef drunken noodle. It was still really hot too. They packed it in an aluminum tray with aluminum foil on top. I highly recommended Lemon Leaf Thai Restaurant.

Look, I love fried chicken but I was not really buying into their description of them while eating them. I'm quite unsure if they're even made in house? They taste very similar to bodega hot food wings. These weren't exactly cheap either and there weren't many included. The house sauce is also just sweet thai chili sauce so yeah these were a total bummer. The overall decor inside was very cute! There's also a bathroom in the back. I ordered the Lunch Special: Pad See Ew with Shrimp and a Thai Iced Tea. I forgot what my friend ordered but she really liked it and said it had a home-cooked meal feel to it which was a positive thing. When we arrived, I asked if we could sit outside, and the owner had no problem with that. While we were enjoying our meal, one of my friends mentioned that the edamame needed a little more salt. Seeing the owner outside, I politely asked if we could have some salt. To my shock, he suddenly started yelling at me and told me that I was being rude. At first, I thought he was joking, so I responded, "Can you imagine how rude I am to my husband?" His response was completely inappropriate and offensive. He said that if he were my husband, he would slap me on my behind over and over again in a sensual manner and that I would enjoy every moment of it. My friends and I were absolutely stunned. When I asked him to stop and bring us the check, he then said that "you Jews always give me problems." A few minutes later, after I told the waitstaff that I intended to share my experience on GN Mommies, he came over with hot sake to apologize. He even offered to refund our meal, but I declined. I don't want anything from someone who makes hateful remarks about Jews. After living in Great Neck for 40 years, I have never experienced anything like this. As a Jewish resident, I was deeply offended by both the inappropriate sexual comments and the anti-Semitic remark. I will never set foot in this restaurant again.
