Stopped by with fellow Yelpers since we were in the area grabbing an Elite experience. We got street parking in front of the restaurant, which is free after 6 PM. It wasn't crowded on a Saturday evening. The service was friendly and welcoming. The Tom Yum Soup (with Shrimp) was a great balance of spicy, sweet and sour. The shrimps were cooked well. There are a lot of veggies in the soup. They gave us little bowls and spoons since we were sharing everything. The Palo was tender and flavorful. They give a good amount of pork. Don't waste the broth - pour it over rice! The Beef Rib Panag was fall off the bone tender and easy to cut. It had good flavor, though I wish there was a bit more sauce so I can eat it with rice. The sauce was thick, so it clung well to the beef. The Roasted Duck Pineapple Curry had a good assortment of veggies that went well with the curry. I did not try the duck. The Pla Nueng Manoa was limey for sure. It is deboned, which makes it easier to eat. The fish was tender as well. The Lemonade Thai Iced Tea had great balance of lemonade and Thai tea. I'm writing this to remember not to come back. The salmon sucks . It's dry and fishy . The portions are not what you get in a thai restaurant with pride . They present the food nicely and I don't care if would order more but I really don't like the taste of the food here. I cook frozen salmon better . I'm happy to see it on the menu but this place consistently disappointing for lunch . I'm not coming back for dinner . I came here a few nights ago with some friends and everything was wonderful. First off, upon entering on a cool wintry night, you're embraced with warmth (heat). It's not an overwhelming amount of heat either. The décor is full of bright lights and browns and gold tones with some white incorporated into it. It adds to the warmth felt upon entry. All of the tables and chairs were clean prior to being seated. There is a host desk as soon as you enter and a handful of tables and chairs to either side. Kitchen and bathroom(s) are at the back. The servers are kind and knowledgeable. The menu is a tad confusing because some dishes state that they're V for vegetarian and then 90% of the rest of the menu doesn't specify, but I learned when I was there that everything is pretty much vegetarian unless specified or unless you wish to add some kind of meat to your dish. The water and water service is wonderful. Normally, I would need a lemon or lime to make water drinkable, but I didn't need to do that here. My table ordered a bunch of apps and all of them were phenomenal! The Massaman Curry was good but the potatoes were either too thick or not cooked all the way through, and the coconut broth was watered down. Was here for a quick lunch with my mom in law and my 1yo baby. They do provide high chair. The food was above average. Thai Fried chicken chuncks-- there is no overwhelming seasoning on the chicken itself but the dipping sauce is very flavorful. I love it that way. My MIL really liked the Green Curry and repeatedly told me "this is really good". The dumplings that came with is just average but I got them with the lunch special, so no complaints. The space seems clean and calm. Not a big restaurant but doesn't feel tight. Service was good, we had a small hiccup with one of our dishes but they were very nice and handled it well :) I would come back. read more

Delicious Thai food in Great Neck. The first moment that I walked in to the restaurant, I was greeted right away which made me feel welcome. I was also notice that the way that they decorated the restaurant made me felt so peaceful and soft musics that they played in the background made me felt very relaxing which is kind of impressive. The servers were very friendly, polite and welcoming. The price is affordable and not expensive at all. I expected the price to be slightly higher due to the location and decoration. The portion is also huge compared to many other Thai restaurants that I went to. I can't even order dessert as a plan because I was so full. Overall great experience. Even though it is not the place that I will drive just to go there to eat but I will definitely stop by again the next time that I have to do something in the area. Was super relieved when this local Thai spot opened with their currrnet and new name. Dined in a few times only but since they are SO local I love grabbing their stuff to go and relax at home. They have a very helpful amount of options for us vegetarian and vegan options. I LOVE their mock duck in pretty much any of their dishes. Their summer rolls are the best! I can't do a fav dish cuz I'd had them all vegetarian styled and none are "not great" to be considered the best. I have been to this restaurant before and have taken out food from them many times and have not had an issue... until now. Please just save yourself the time, money, and effort and do not come here. I do not live close by and so when a family member was in Great Neck I decided to order food for my family member to pick up. I ordered a duck pad thai and a curry puff appetizer which I have gotten many times from them before so I know the flavor and quality it should be from this restaurant. When my family member got home we decided to start eating and I immediately noticed how extremely oily the curry puffs are and when I took a bite, all I got was a mouth-full of oil - how GROSS! Then I tried the pad thai and it was even worse. Absolutely NO flavor, hardly any duck at all and again extremely oily with somehow also being extremely dry - a new unwelcome texture and flavor with Thai food that I wish I would not have ever experienced! I decided to call the restaurant and spoke to Bri who I told about how horrible the food is and how surprised I am because I've had their food before. In fact, I was there just a month ago with a friend and had the exact same order. I told Bri I was very disappointed and wanted my money back. The food was literally inedible. He went ahead and put me on hold to go and speak to the kitchen. 5 minutes later he came back to the phone and said he could give me a refund but then abruptly said he was going to go and speak to the manager who he said was in the restaurant and put me on hold again. He put me on hold for another 3 minutes and when he came back, he said that he wanted to send someone to my house to pick up the food and only then would he would give me a refund and only for the Pad Thai. I told him that I would not be comfortable with them coming to my home, especially since we are far away and went out of our way to pick it up from them in the first place and that I had no problem taking photos of the food and showing them just how oily and horrible it all is. I then told him that I wanted to speak to the manager - he went ahead and put me on hold again. This was the last time I spoke to Bri because he never came back to the phone. For a total of 30 minutes, I only spoke to Bri for 3 and was on hold for the rest of the time (27 minutes). My family member then decided to call the restaurant as I was on hold with them, to see why he had never come back to the phone. Bri answered her call and when my family member asked him why I had been and still am waiting on hold for 20 minutes at that point - he had no answer. He then said that the manager wasn't even in the store, which is the complete opposite of what he told me and when my family member asked him to speak to the manager and also spell his name so that she knew who she was talking to and that she could address him correctly, he refused to do so and put her on hold. Bri then came back to the phone and hung up on her. All of this happened as I continued to wait on the phone for Bri to pick back up. He never did. Overall, the food is horrible, the customer service is despicable, and when you have a loyal customer for years, and they tell you that something is wrong with the food for the very first time, the least you should do is do the right thing by your customer and refund them their money without giving them an immensely hard time. The grilled fish probably needs a little more seasoning and the dipping sauce was way too small. Best Thai for miles. I'm vegetarian, and here's what I typically get: Vegetarian red curry with fried tofu (8.5/10): I really enjoy this dish. I used to not be veg, and it tastes like red curry I've eaten at other restaurants back then. Deep flavor, turns out they make their own vegan red curry paste. It's a huge portion, the fried tofu is delicious, vegetables are still crispy and not mushy, and a squeeze of lime is perfect on top. I also love the avocado they randomly put on top . I ask for spicy here, and it's perfect, bc it's balanced by the richness of the curry. Som tum thai (9/10): delicious papaya salad, super spicy, crispy, and fresh. Show stopper! Once I got it "spicy", it set my mouth on fire. So I go medium now. Kindest staff, met the owner, who bakes her own brownies. Try these brownies, 10/10!!!!! We tried this place for the first time and the foods were really good! We did take out and had Shrimp Pad Thai and summer roll. The pad Thai was very tasty, and there was a good amount of shrimp. I liked the summer roll as well since they're cut into 6 pieces and each roll has shrimp, tofu and avocado in it. I would love to come back and try other foods! It was my first time at this local Thai spot. The staff was very accommodating and the food pretty good. There was a slight mistake with my main order and I mentioned it to the waiter only so that it wouldn't happen again to someone else (it wasn't really a big deal for me) and they offered to remake the whole thing. I appreciated the offer but told them it wasn't necessary, so they didn't charge me for that dish, which was very nice of them. The short ribs (appetizer) were delish, and the duck spring rolls very tasty. My pad Thai with shrimp was not outstanding, but it was pretty good. I'm glad there is a Thai restaurant not too far from my friend house. We have a party at home, but I just want something spicy and bring different to my group. Food was okay and surprisingly they have northeastern style of papaya salad. I like it but my friends aren't crazy about. Pad gra praw is kind of sweet but it is still ok for the area like this. Been here 3 times in the last month. I had really good food- love the pad see ew, Pad Thai was good (not overly sweet), the Thai dumplings appetizer was delicious too- steamed, chewy on the outside and slightly crunchy on the inside. Green curry was good- I like it that they don't skimp on the vegetables- they give a decent amount in all the dishes I ordered. My son, who doesn't like Thai food, ate the chicken nuggets and liked them! Now maybe the whole family can come together!
