We always order from here, because the delivery is fast -- sometimes in 15 minutes. Recommend pepper steak.

Soooo disappointed in this place. Why cheap out on takeout containers??! Fair warning: Never ever…read moreorder takeout from Tiga. I do takeout a lot, and we order Japanese very frequently. But I've never ever encountered what I got from Tiga... even from far cheaper restaurants. Last year, I ordered 3 special rolls and excitedly picked them up. When I opened the package later, it appeared that they decided to squish all 3 of our rolls into one single plastic takeout container. So instead of each of us being able to enjoy the roll that we chose, we had to "share", dig from one container, with no other plates to use. Not only that, they squished the rolls so tightly together that the rice of the 3 rolls got stuck together, and the sauces of got mixed up. So as we tried to get our own rolls out to eat, it soon became like one container of fried rice - except it wasn't fried - just a mess of rice with toppings. For rolls that cost $20+ each, don't you think that each of the 3 of us deserved our own container to eat from? We were 3 colleagues who did not wish to eat out of one single bowl. I'm flabbergasted by Tiga.

Washed our hands and good was out in a few short minutes. Overall the food fresh and flavorful, but not especially memorable, just a fairly good lunch. The smiles and welcoming atmosphere is what makes this place a solid 4 star. ~$50 all-in lunch for 2, and no upside down smiles to be seen here, TGIF.

The brown sugar taro bubble teas were diluted with too much ice & not enough taro powder. Japanese pancake was basically scallion pancake with a curry dip that tasted sour. The salads that came with our entrées were warm & dressing was watery. The sukiyaki (clear noodles with beef, tofu & veggies in broth) was bland- not rich as described and beef was overcooked/ dry. Terrible. The udon noodle broth had a little more flavor. Beef fried rice- literally 1 bowl of rice served on a plate & the beef was tough. Pork katsu bento with California roll- the tempura & pork katsu were not crispy and the sauce tasted like ketchup. Luckily, the hibachi steak and chicken combo was probably the best thing out of everything- the meats & veggies were cooked well and flavorful.

We ordered a sashimi deluxe and sushi sashimi deluxe, diet Coke, hot green teas. No salad or miso soup was included - unusual. Service was on par with casual Chinese takeout. Waitstaff seemed annoyed we were there. They cleaned the table while we were still sitting Kitchen entrees were huge but just ok food wise. Chicken was very dry and rice bland To be fair, we didn't get sushi but prices for sushi here were crazy. Same platter or chirashi I can get in manhattan for $18-20 was $45 here. The kimchi pancakes were perfect and no shellfish to be frightful of in regards to allergies. We tried their popcorn chicken and one was a little sweet and spicy and the other was plain. We shared edamame. And everyone was happy with their dishes whether it be the vegetarian japchae, beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap with an egg, house salad, soup, chicken katsu, etc! Only one star removed because the veggies were still more raw than cooked in the dolsot bibimbap. I know we were a large group, but cooking it a little extra would have been preferred. Happy eats!
