The kimchi pancakes were perfect and no shellfish to be frightful of in regards to allergies. We tried their popcorn chicken and one was a little sweet and spicy and the other was plain. We shared edamame. And everyone was happy with their dishes whether it be the vegetarian japchae, beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap with an egg, house salad, soup, chicken katsu, etc! The soy garlic wasn't overly sauced, and because the coating was done right, it still had a crunch to it even after a 12-minute drive. After talking for a while they realized they knew him from when he worked at another Turkish restaurant in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn called Liman. It has since moved to Coney Island. Ali opened Bosporus Cafe Grill in Port Washington in 2014 and I'm am glad he took the risk to go out on his own. His business partner is the chef and is also a butcher. They've combined their talents to provide one of the best restaurants experiences you will ever have. I've been coming here for several years and it never gets old.
