    Banchan self serve June 2026
    Josephine C.

On a Saturday afternoon in late June, my brother wanted to come here. At 11:30am, we waited to get seated. They have a lunch special $22.99 including weekends. The staff are nice and very good at refill water pitchers, changing the grills. The newest addition are tablets to order meats at each table. The banchans are in middle of restaurant -dried chicken, fried rice, tempura, beef bone, potato salad, macaroni salad, salad pieces, fried rice, white rice. We received water containers with cups and dipping sauces. The $22.99 has basic meats to order line beef brisket, pork belly, etc.The restaurant got really busy by 11:30-12noon with 3 staff servers. We got full after 4th serving of meats. At the end, we got a small cup of ice cream. Nice ambiance inside of listening to kpop and fans turned on throughout the restaurant. This location is better than ktown location,

Customer Service: 11/10 Ambience: 10 Quality of Food: 10 Overall Experience: 10 Ruben helped us at 7:30PM on Tuesday, 9/30/25. He was super friendly, helpful, and was a pleasure to be around! Ruben really went above and beyond, and he made our birthday dinner for my mom much more enjoyable. The other employees were also very attentive, often asking if we'd like a grill change, getting our orders, and filling our waters. We got the premium menu and tried our best to try a little bit of everything, but we got full before being able to do so! The sides were delicious. I had never had such a flavorful japchae at a Korean BBQ place -- this was truly amazing! The other sides were also great, of which my favorite were the potato salad, radish paper, and the kimchi. Rice paper, broccoli, marinated cucumbers and fish cakes were also available. The salad was also great and refreshing, and we got spicy tofu soups and egg soufflés, which were also very flavorful. Out of the grilled foods, we really liked the beef belly, baby octopus, and Mount Fuji premium pork belly! They were amazingly tender, fresh, and marinated well, and the pork belly was so good after rendering the fat. We also liked that Cass beer was available and we got a heaping portion of ice cream after our meal. The available flavors were chocolate with crisps, strawberry, or green tea, all of which were creamy and delicious! The food was so good that I kept wanting to eat more even after feeling full. The restaurant has just the right volume and choice of music playing with plenty of indoor seating and lots of space for parking. All in all, I really enjoyed my experience and my family and I will definitely be coming back again! This quickly moved up the ranks for my favorite KBBQ places!

Words can't justice how amazing this place is. Cham Soot Gol take all my money. Me and my husband go at least twice a week. As soon as they open @ 5 on weekdays. They upgraded their rice paper. It's more fully and the brisket is to die for. Please Cham Soot Gil add cheese corn bring it back

Came for dinner here yesterday with my partner after wanting to try this place for sometime since moving to the area. I would like to say we arrived around 7pm on a Saturday and waited for about 10 mins for 2 people. Once we were seated all the sides were already there which was great. The sides were your typical Korean bbq sides but we did notice how fresh the sides were compared to other locations we've been to. The meats were good and portions were great that we did only one round along with the sides. It is priced at $33 per person , but the portions and service make up for the price. Would definitely be back in the near future.

Cham Sut Gol has the BEST SERVICE; No contest! My friends and I went out last night to celebrate a birthday and we had such a a great time here. Julie was our main server and she was on top of our orders the entire time. The portions she served were perfect for our party and really satisfied that kbbq-craving that we all have. I was a bit needy (partly because we enjoyed her company so much) yet, she was so patient and professional. In addition to the great service, she cracked cheesy jokes the entire night - a service we didn't pay extra for but greatly appreciated. The rest of the staff filled in when we needed things in between service so big shout out to Kyle and Temo for helping us with the cake and birthday song. It's been a few years since I've visited Cham so I was very surprised to see all the remodeling they have done. Great job; it looks modern now. We love you Cham!

Happy Birthday Jeff. And thank you Julie and Kyle for the great Service.

Great restaurant. Food was solid. Service was amazing. Julie was on it and she made sure we had everything we needed. Kyle also helped our tables and both of them were nice, prompt and worked to make sure we tried all of the options. Thank You

Whenever I'm having my bouts of iron deficiency (or that time of the month iykyk), it's always time for some kbbq. My mother & I have been coming here for years as our go-to kbbq spot. Cham Soot Gol always leaves me with a food coma! We noticed they've added kimchi fried rice to the menu and it was pretty yum. They could be a bit lighter on the salt, and that includes their soups as well but other than that, you're getting a pretty nice deal for the value. The servers are all very sweet and are always checking in to see if you're enjoying your food (although, every time they've checked in on me, my mouth would be stuffed..) and it seems they also remember faces, haha! They've recently remodeled in the past year so the place has been looking very sleek and nice but still a bit laid back-retro. Great spot to drop by for a post gym meal with your buddies and maybe a few shots of soju, as long as you're not dd.

Been here for the 4th and it never fails!!! I definitely recommend this place to family and friends Service: was amazing we went on Friday evening at 6pm and the place was packed but we didn't have to wait too long prob 5mins. Staff is very attentive to make sure that you're not running out of food. Food. The quality of the meet is 5/5 I love the thin slice brisket, bulgogi and pork belly. All the sides are delicious as always. The ice is different now but better. Ambiance: better be wearing some work out clothes because you know your clothes are gonna sleep like k-bbq. Place is clean

I've eaten at Cham Soot Gol twice now and will def keep going back! I enjoyed this kbbq spot for the ayce aspect and the lower prices. The banchan was delicious and we reordered everything multiple times. We ordered Spicy pork, thinly sliced beef brisket, and spicy beef belly. These were our favorites and so delicious. The spicy beef belly is soooo good. THEY NEED CHEESE CORN THOUGH. The wait has never been bad and service is pretty great, especially with a button on the table. While I have had better kbbq, overall, this is a good, cheaper ayce kbbq option.

The servers are aunties that won't check on you after every bite but will come over the second you raise your hand. I took my mom for lunch and we dug in a little too quick - photos were snapped after we've made a small dent on the food. We got the Seolleongtang and soondae platter which was plenty to share between two people. We ended up taking half of the soondae platter home and enjoying it for breakfast the day after. For those not familiar with Seolleongtang, the soup comes out very basic. You're given a bucket of scallions, a little pot of salt, and shaker of ground pepper to season the broth as you please. I recommend adding a few spoonfuls of the radish kimchi sauce. Speaking of the banchan, Jong Ro prepares some of the freshest and most flavorful banchans on the street. I wish they offered a menu option that was just a bowl of rice and bottomless banchan. The soondae was perfectly springy, paired with a salted shrimp sauce and flavored salt dip. The platter also came with boiled (or steamed?) pork belly, pig ear, and other pork innards that were nicely cooked. I love restaurants like this because they are simply good at what they do. Nothing is over-the-top. There is always a constant stream of customers. The times I've gone have been during your typical slow hours and the place was always 60% full. I imagine the house is full during dinner time or on weekends and rightfully so. Definitely stop by if you're looking for a heartwarming and belly filling comfort meal.

HUGE props to Ian for holding down the FOH fort solo on a slammed Friday night. He handled all the tables and the 8+ groups waiting with such grace and genuine care, showing just the right amount of urgency to indicate the patrons were the priority. He anticipated when the tables might need refills or extra napkins, never flinching when it seemed as though everyone wanted something broiled table side, all while juggling the scorching dishes the kitchen crew cranked out with ease. Ian very easily tipped this review into five star territory with his hard work! We ordered the chicken katsu and the bibimbap for the two of us, but really want to try the short ribs and cheese, and the bibimyun. The crowds were a diverse mix of Korean elders, young college kids, and neighborhood folks - all signs that the food speaks for itself. If you're looking for quality Korean comfort food, a simple menu, and an intimate atmosphere, this is the place for you. Oh, and the banchan choices were great for a kimchi, pickle, mac salad lover like me!

We ordered the chicken katsu curry, beef soup (galbi tang with glass noodles), and dawa chicken. All three dishes were shared family style and we had a good amount of chicken katsu curry to take home as leftovers for my friend's partner to eat for his dinner. Can you believe that a group of seven women only had to pay $71.86 total (including tax and the automatic gratuity for our party size that was 5+ people) for that much food? We each paid $10.27 for our portion and that's highway robbery in this economy. In terms of customer service, I'll say that our server was incredibly friendly when he was present, but he admittedly came by literally only three times during our visit: when we had to dramatically flag him down to order, when he dropped off our food when it was ready, and when we had to flag him down to pay for our check. I'm so glad they had a handheld terminal for us to use for checkout because we might have passed out from heat stroke if we waited any longer, lol. There are always trade-offs in this life, I suppose. We'll be back soon!
