Lunch special from 11am to 4pm. Such a great deal. Service is always on point. The brisket cut is so amazing!! One of the best cuts for an AYCE restaurant. Usually the meat is super fatty, but this place had nice marbling. Order their steamed eggs! It's sooo good! At the end of the meal they offer complimentary ice cream (mango, strawberry, or matcha) delicious!!!

Galbi well marinated not too sweet!

Loved our experience at Chamsutgol! The service was very attentive and everyone was so friendly with big smiles. The meat was good quality, perfectly marinated, and I really liked that it wasn't overly sweet. They also give you lots of delicious banchan! The ambience was cozy and relaxed, with a welcoming, authentic Korean BBQ feel. No long wait, great service, and at $34.99 AYCE, it's an excellent value. Definitely coming back!

This is a more OG style Korean BBQ place with very nice servers. They are one of the less expensive AYCE Korean BBQ places and offers one AYCE tier option which even includes some sushi items for dinner. There are fewer sushi options for lunch. Check them out if you're looking for a no frills AYCE Korean BBQ place. They probably have a time limit but don't recall seeing it on the menus?

This place used to be one of favorite places to go. We became close to some of the lady's who worked there, but lately since the last 2 times we've been there, we haven't seen them. Our last experience there was not great with the service. Those women are rude with no respect. As my wife who's Korean was asking her for oil& salt after taking our order, she just walks away as my wife is talking to her. She comes with meat & literally just throws it on our grill & drops the meat on the table then puts on the grill ( who even knows if that table is even clean ) then knocks over my chop sticks that I had on my bowl. No apologies. Next she switches our grill to a new grill that was grossly dirty ( see pic). When Brot to her attention, she tried to explain that it's nothing. I have nothing against the food & in fact I think they have one of the best steamed egg,BUT where not sure we'll go back cuz of the rude ladies

Had to do a review of this spot because I was blown away. I tend to frequent a couple of other KBBQ spots in this area as Rowland/Industry have a ton, but it was this past Friday and the local favorites all had two hour wait times. I hadn't been here since the high school days so we said heck it, let's try it again! We walked in and were instantly seated, no wait. Amazing. Three women appeared and started laying out the table with the usual assortment of side dishes and salad, etc. This spot is a well oiled machine and you are not assigned a specific server, they all come around and help out as needed. Throughout the experience we couldn't run out of anything; a side dish, salad, even the dipping sauces, as soon as they were out we'd get a brand new one. If we got carried away in conversation a server would appear and start cooking for us and adding more meat to the grill. Everything was instant and fast and I honestly can't say enough good things about the place. The meat quality, the side dishes, the service, everything was on point and the ambiance was very warm and cozy, it felt like a little piece of home from another country. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves KBBQ.

The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Even though our server was handling the dining area on his own, he regularly checked on our table and made sure we had everything we needed. We even received ice cream at the end of our meal, which was a nice way to finish the evening. Overall, we had a great experience with both the food and the service. The meat is not too sweet like a lot of other places. It's lightly caramelized, really tender and seasoned just right. My favorite way to eat it is with a spoon of rice, some tofu soup, a little bit of side dish and a piece of meat all in one bite. The flavor is just so good. You get the sweetness from the meat, umami from the soup and everything just goes really well together. I always refill the side dishes at least twice whenever I come here. They taste fresh and doesn't taste overly salty or too sweet like some places. Another thing I like is their combo actually comes with a regular size tofu soup. Most other tofu soup places only give you a much smaller bowl with the combo, so you definitely get more here. The ajummas are always super fast and really nice. I can truly say with my heart that SoCal KBBQ really got the Bay Area beat. The waitlist showed 45m originally but we got in within 25ish. The meat quality was solid. I got Set B so I could try the LA galbi, which was made perfectly. I also liked the rib fingers. They were juicy and had good flavor. I'm simple though, so most of the time I just stuck with brisket. Overall, I'd probably give the food itself a 4/5. Nothing was bad by any means, it's solid and cant do wrong compared to other spots in the area. As for the service, our waitress, I think her name was Christine or Kristine? She was so attentive, friendly, professional, and just completely on top of everything. I was having a really crappy day after work and her enthusiasm really cheered me up. It's really the small attention to detail things that stood out. For example, I love rice paper and by the 2nd time I reordered and finished it, she was like, "more rice paper?" with a lil finger gun action. It's little things like this that make a difference and keep customers returning, so I hope the other staff members also have the same enthusiasm next time I'm back. I was constantly being checked on, my grill kept getting replaced, waters refilled, etc. You can tell this definitely isn't her first time working KBBQ. She just knew what she was doing and was always one step ahead. The service she provided was honestly better than what I've received at high end places like COTE in NYC or San Ho Won in SF, where I'm paying way more and you'd expect that level of service. They also have a couple things you don't see at every Korean BBQ place, like Korean chimichurri, mala seasoning, and cuts like flat iron (my fave) and pichana. I really liked the house samjang too. It had a lot of depth and worked well with the meat. Overall, I'd give the food a 4/5, but my waitress's service is what bumped the entire experience up to a 5/5 for me. I would definitely come back if I wanted AYCE, the food was solid. I really wish we had this level of service up in the Bay!! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area. I can't wait to have the rib fingers with that samjang and chimichurri again!

We were a fairly large group, and they were accommodating (FYI, there is a 20% auto gratuity for large groups). Susie was our server, and she was AMAZINGLY attentive. Despite how busy she clearly was, our grills got changed so often, she frequently refilled our drinks and banchan, and often checked in on us if we needed anything else. The service is definitely one of the best in an AYCE KBBQ spot. The banchan were surprisingly really delicious as well! I think it means a lot when a place offers good quality side dishes which equates to every aspect of your meal will be great. It's an often overlooked aspect. The hot food and the meat selections were also great! The pricing and quality really makes sense. The food comes out super quick and fresh, so you are not waiting to make another round as your timer runs down. Also, keep that high-pressure sink in the women's restroom! I loved how strong it was, and it REALLY cleaned my hands!
