Yes, the meat quality isn't going to be something that you long for and are craving and the sides aren't crazily delicious, but if you are craving AYCE KBBQ and don't want to break the bank this is a great option. There are no premium options that current restaurants offer, so its easy to know that there is only 1 menu. I opt for the beef brisket and beef belly since I like more of the natural meat flavor, but I have ventured farther to their shrimp, octopus, pork belly, and bulgogi which are good choices as well. The menu also offers steamed egg (I recommend), tofu soup, and sushi! They do have additional offerings on top of the starter sides that they do deliver so just be sure to ask. I came here with some friends on a Sunday night, and we made reservations ahead of time since we had a large party. There were about 15 of us, including 3 kids, and we were seated right away. My friend who is a regular there ordered for us all and everything was excellent. My favorite was the marinated short rib. They also have sushi! The sushi was okay, but I didn't have high expectations for a kbbq place. It was nice to put some kbbq on top of the sushi. Service was outstanding. The servers loved pur group and checked on us regularly. They also played with our kids and offered them different goodies as well. They really took care of us. I recently tried this location for the first time for a birthday dinner, and I'm not sure if this chain is related to the Buena Park or Garden Grove locations, but if it is then it has gone downhill. From the start, we tried ordering tofu soup and the server responded with frustration, telling us we couldn't order it until the end of our meal, which made us confused. The quality of the meat was also a letdown. It came out super frozen, tasted off, and was pretty much flavorless. (I had to drench it in sauce just to make it enjoyable.) Compared to its other locations, this one has definitely dropped in quality. While the servers were fast, they weren't very friendly or helpful, which took away from the overall experience. I also wouldn't recommend a large party of more than 8 people to come here, because it was pretty cramped and our table itself had no room during our entire meal to place any plates. If you've visited the other locations, then you'd know you get to enjoy ice cream at the end of the meal which is pretty much still the highlight. However, with so many other KBBQ options out there, I'd recommend exploring those instead. read more

Cham Sut Gol Bbq is the place to be if you want to enjoy an all-you-can-eat Korean-style BBQ. Their sides also known as banchan are so tasty. It comes with salad, kimchi, potato salad, bean sprouts, glass noodles, and fish cake. The sides are refillable while you enjoying dinner so if you love them just ask one of the staff members for a refill. The meat is plenty and to me, it was nicely cut. I enjoy the different types of beef that they have. If you are daring why not try the beef tongue? They also have shrimp that you can cook on the grill which is delicious. Also, they have options for soups, and don't forget to get the fluffy egg! It's a large portion and this is sharable. The red chili sauce is fire!! I dipped all my meat into this and I have to say I loved it. The spiciness is a pretty hot level so be warned you might get addicted to it and dream about it. Have been here quite a few times and it's usually good. But it has been a couple of months since the last time we have gone here, but and was our usual place...but it's not worth it anymore. I wouldn't be back. This time around it was so bad, quality was NOT GOOD. Immediately had a huge stomach ache after the meal. Which means that it was not fresh. You also feel immediately greasy sitting down as the seats and table was not cleaned well. They didn't come by and refill items unless you flag them down. The meat didn't taste great. Overly frozen. The pork rib was just straight fat piece & overall meat quality just wasn't great. The cheese corn was also disgusting and usually it's my favorite but the cheese tasted off. They also didn't have steamed egg (only 1 per 2-3 people for a table) and service wasn't good today. I'm shocked at how overall terrible it was. Kimchi and the sides were also not great. Dry and tasted like they've been sitting around. The mashed potato wasn't even cold. Salad was not crunchy or fresh and overly coated in the oil sauce. They also scoop the bottom part into your plate when you ask for a refill and you're forced to eat the greasy bottom parts. On top of that salad wasn't even cold, tasted like it's been sitting out. Also when you ask for a grill change they make you wait and say later. Well if we want a grill change now; why are you telling me later? Half the grill is literally burnt! Don't like that they stack your meat on top of each other on the grill. I would rather do that myself as I don't like mixing the meats. The grill also was HALF working so half the grill wasn't cooking. When we would turn up the grill, they would walk by and turn it lower. Which in turn takes forever to cook the meat. On top of that they also stare at you and check the bill total when you are paying with tap and if you don't put a lot of tip they call you out on it. And then stare SMH. Honestly the only reason I'd go here is for the steam egg. Won't be back though because it's not worth it. And on a side note their ventilation sucks. There's plenty of other AYCE KBBQ places in Rowland to choose from. read more
