Used to love coming here but lately the last few times I've gone the service has been horrible. They always want to control the cooking for you and most places don't do that. The lady that helped us felt like she was rushing us, she'd make comments about how we're not eating just because we wanted the meat cooked more. At one point she came by and mix raw chicken next to our red meat that was cooking just to cook the meat that was on our table as quickly as possible. Then, we had the chicken cooking for a awhile because it didn't look fully cooked when we would cut it, and she came by and took it all off the grill and put it on our plates because she said it was ready, so after she walked away we placed it back on the pan to cook longer. She would also walk away very quickly whenever we'd ask for something. Horrible customer and very rude. Will not be coming here anymore for KBBQ, as they have not shown good customer service for awhile now. read more

Cham Sut Gol Bbq is the place to be if you want to enjoy an all-you-can-eat Korean-style BBQ. Their sides also known as banchan are so tasty. It comes with salad, kimchi, potato salad, bean sprouts, glass noodles, and fish cake. The sides are refillable while you enjoying dinner so if you love them just ask one of the staff members for a refill. The meat is plenty and to me, it was nicely cut. I enjoy the different types of beef that they have. If you are daring why not try the beef tongue? They also have shrimp that you can cook on the grill which is delicious. Also, they have options for soups, and don't forget to get the fluffy egg! It's a large portion and this is sharable. The red chili sauce is fire!! I dipped all my meat into this and I have to say I loved it. The spiciness is a pretty hot level so be warned you might get addicted to it and dream about it. I seriously do and will be back again for sure!!! Have been here quite a few times and it's usually good. But it has been a couple of months since the last time we have gone here, but and was our usual place...but it's not worth it anymore. I wouldn't be back. This time around it was so bad, quality was NOT GOOD. Immediately had a huge stomach ache after the meal. Which means that it was not fresh. You also feel immediately greasy sitting down as the seats and table was not cleaned well. They didn't come by and refill items unless you flag them down. The meat didn't taste great. Overly frozen. The pork rib was just straight fat piece & overall meat quality just wasn't great. The cheese corn was also disgusting and usually it's my favorite but the cheese tasted off. They also didn't have steamed egg (only 1 per 2-3 people for a table) and service wasn't good today. I'm shocked at how overall terrible it was. Kimchi and the sides were also not great. Dry and tasted like they've been sitting around. The mashed potato wasn't even cold. Salad was not crunchy or fresh and overly coated in the oil sauce. They also scoop the bottom part into your plate when you ask for a refill and you're forced to eat the greasy bottom parts. On top of that salad wasn't even cold, tasted like it's been sitting out. Also when you ask for a grill change they make you wait and say later. Well if we want a grill change now; why are you telling me later? Half the grill is literally burnt! Don't like that they stack your meat on top of each other on the grill. I would rather do that myself as I don't like mixing the meats. The grill also was HALF working so half the grill wasn't cooking. When we would turn up the grill, they would walk by and turn it lower. Which in turn takes forever to cook the meat. On top of that they also stare at you and check the bill total when you are paying with tap and if you don't put a lot of tip they call you out on it. And then stare SMH. Honestly the only reason I'd go here is for the steam egg. Won't be back though because it's not worth it. And on a side note their ventilation sucks. There's plenty of other AYCE KBBQ places in Rowland to choose from. read more

I came here for the first time on 12/16. We were a party of 6, 3 growing children and three adults. We were a bit smushed in our tiny booth, although I'd asked the waitresses for a larger table for the reason that our two men were larger and would appreciate more space. Well, we made due. It was a great spot for a small family gathering just before the holidays were in full swing. We ordered at least 5 rounds of meat and tons of steamed egg. I thin Kim godson ate 5 steamed eggs to himself. My lil one also loved their steamed egg. So, at least she was able to find something other than beef belly, potato salad and japchae to enjoy. Adding another item to her usuals for kbbq is always a plus, in my opinion. I enjoyed their salad and m godson as well as his uncle enjoyed the rice paper. I think we had a needless supply bought over to our table. Service was quick and efficient. The ladies that helped us were all so sweet. They know my godson and his father. So, they were chatting all the way though our meal time. it was a lot of fun. they were teaching us some simple phrases and greetings and what not in Korean. I was pleased to find that they had beef belly. I don't know how long it has been since I have had that particular cut of meat but it was delicious. I cannot wait to go back and have some more. This place is the definition of quality over quantity. They had a limited menu but the meat they had was so delicious and their steamed egg was the best I've ever had!! The staff worked so fast. We didn't even have to press our call button, they just observed us and noticed when we were finishing our plate and came up again to take our order for the next round of meats! Dinner service is 3 meats per order around 35 a person. The only negative thing I have to say was that our overhead fan wasn't working so we got some smoke in our eyes but the staff was incredibly apologetic. She seemed very pushy as well and kept burning our food even when I told her to leave the temperature lower. The problem here is that it gets hot I think they do have a problem with their air conditioning . The chair we were seated are a little greasy not to mention the floor really slippery. Definitely one of my favorite KBBQ spots in Rowland Heights! I used to eat here with friends frequently during high school but took a break because of the pandemic. Recently came back again for lunch with my family and I'm glad to see that the food and quality haven't changed. The meat quality here won't blow your mind, but their steamed egg definitely will! I don't know how they do it but I've never had a steamed egg as good as theirs -- it's steaming hot, perfectly fluffy, and has a layer of cheese on top. Most of the time, I come here just for their steamed egg lol (will add a picture below). In terms of meat, my favorites have always been the beef brisket, beef tongue, pork belly w sauce, and marinated boneless ribs (dinner only). They have kimchi, fish cakes, potato salad, japchae, radish slices, bean sprouts, and broccoli as banchan. At the end, you can choose between green tea ice cream or yogurt for dessert. Service is quick and the staff is super attentive and helpful! Parking in the plaza can be a bit tight during peak hours. It was more expensive than I expected/remembered from before the pandemic (now ~$27 for lunch & ~$36 for dinner), but would still recommend it overall. read more

She recommended that we meet here since I was craving kbbq and there weren't many kbqq places open for lunch. I walked in and was seated right away. The ajumma brought out all the banchan. I had to wait for my aunt for a little bit and the ajummas checked on me frequently. Btw, there is a time limit of 75 mins from the moment you start your order. Once I knew my aunt was close by, I ordered some meat. This is where the place fell short. The meats were not good quality at all. It was very chewy and thin. The marinated galbi and pork were mediocre at best. I would say best thing we ate was the steamed egg. I gave this place two stars because its a quick place to just fill your belly for lunch and the service was good. The ajummas checked on us frequently and kept the soju coming! The ladies here are so nice and understanding. They know what's up! All-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ is about $30 per person for dinner. I think brisket it their most popular, but I like to try meats other than brisket. I liked their chicken, beef tongue, and spicy pork. They had sauce dishes prepared for each person already. There was a spicy one, the normal one, and the sesame oil with salt. I love the side dishes and green salad. At the end of the meats, they offer ice cream! They didn't have red bean when I visited last, so I got green tea. I just took that to-go and ate it in the car after we left. There is outdoor seating under a canopy. Although there's a large parking lot, it's shared with the other businesses. The parking lot can get crowded. Come here early to avoid the wait! read more
