Its a great place to enjoy a latte I am particular a fan of the olive oil Latte an amazing mix of sweet and salty. Nice art adorns the walls you really do just want to stay awhile. Some of the most friendly Baristas I have ever dealt with. One of them somehow remembers my name. I highly encourage the owners to do cash transactions to encourage more cash tips. read more

I've heard all the rage about this spot and had to see for myself. I was initially worried about the parking situation, but thankfully I was able to snag a free timed spot on the back residential street. I really enjoyed the area, as there were plenty of other businesses around. The inside was incredibly beautiful. Rich and earthy tones, the vintage floral and striped prints, cute merch, and thoughtful touches such as variable seating and self serve water station on the side of the coffee bar. The pastry display was very neat and offered a decent range of options, although I didn't opt to try any during my visit. As always with trying somewhere new, I order a coffee and a matcha. I went ahead with the pistachio latte (note: it's iced only) and a hot matcha latte with half sweetness. The pistachio latte was the winner for me and the presentation matched (4/5) It was nutty and semi sweet while still being enjoyably creamy. The pistachio crumbles on top made for a beautiful and yummy touch. The cream top mixed in perfectly after a few sips in. I hope this stays on their menu all year round. Not sure if it's seasonal? However, I was disappointed with the matcha (1/5) Especially since it had been overhyped. I specifically requested half sweetness and feel that detail was missed. It was pretty sweet, I wasn't able to really taste the matcha, although it did have a nice color and aroma to it. I ended up tossing it halfway through. But thankfully, I had the other latte to enjoy for the car ride home. I went on a weekend morning around 10am so there was a line almost out the door but it wasn't that bad of a wait. Approximately 15mins. The inside seating was entirely full so I ended up just walking around. I'm not certain if I'd come back again, but if I do.. I'd definitely stick to their coffee and perhaps try a pastry. It's definitely a cute spot read more

Quite a popular and Instagrammable cafe right along Abbot Kinney Blvd. I've had Chamberlain Coffee once at the mall and didn't realize a Venice location had opened up. It's quite big inside, there are several tables to sit at. Nice decor and ambiance. Beautiful floral arrangement by the coffee counter where you grab your drink. We stood in a massively long line. We were entertained by some of the items they had for purchase, like a locally made t shirt for over $150. A mug that was priced astronomically high, $60 or something. "So LA" When it was my turn to order, I had trouble deciding between matcha, espresso, etc. but I went with the tiramisu latte with almond milk. I asked for it half sweet. Once it came out, it actually wasn't sweet enough - I must be underestimating my sweet tooth - so I asked for it to be a bit more sweet. Sadly then I noticed the lady putting in two pumps of sweetener which I was concerned would be too much, and it in fact did make it too sweet. At that point I felt bad asking them to remake the whole thing given the crowd. It was good but I couldn't finish the entire drink bc it was more like a dessert treat and was overly sweet. Also the prices are high here. Two drinks cost us over $20. read more

It's a cute place on abbot Kinney. But sigh we just didn't like their matcha drinks - the yuzu matcha spritz didn't really have any matcha flavor to it, and the pistachio matcha latte was very creamy almost gooey. We later ordered the tiramisu latte which was pretty good. read more

First time ever visiting, the place was super nice and aesthetically pleasing, very clean and good vibe. Spacious compared to other coffee shops and the sitting area looked cozy. The matcha was almost 10$ which I think is crazy for the smaller size, but overall tasting good. Expecting little more, but still fine. Not sure if I'll be coming back yet. read more

What a great add on Abbot Kinney - beautiful and vibey cafe with gorgeous interior design. From the tiles to the walls, flooring and beyond. The location and its intentionally created space is not what we came for (although that is one key thing we look at...), it's for the coffee right, but still - it's the whole experience we're after. We ordered 4 drinks on a Holiday Monday morning - the olive oil latte was amazing. The tiramisu, pistachio latte and another matcha drink were all delicious. Luckily it wasn't busy yet as I hear line gets long - could be because of the celebrity factor, maybe to a certain extent - the coffee and friendly staff service sets this one apart. With many cafes around this area, Chamberlain is one I'd be excited to go to when we visit Venice again. read more

Maybe the coffee is better here, but I wouldn't get the matcha again. When I saw the color, I was skeptical but wanted to try it anyways. But it tastes like it looks.. not enough matcha flavor and mostly just tasted like I'm drinking sweetened milk with some matcha flavor. The service is okay, nothing special either. I give it a 4 out 5 because I like the ambience of the coffee shop, the aesthetics, the color vibes however the banana crème latte was not as good as the banana crème matcha. The coffee seems a bit too strong. Service was great. Only parking available is street parking unless you park in lit behind Abbot Kinney. Other than that loved the Matcha. It does get crowded on the weekends and line can be out of the door but worth it. read more

Located in the heart of Venice on Abbot Kinney Blvd, this coffee shop features gorgeous, vintage-inspired interiors as well as an extensive menu of signature @chamberlaincoffee organic matcha, coffee, tea and hojicha. My favorite drinks - their tiramisu latte and banana cream matcha latte, and their pesto danish (which was recommended by the VERY kind baristas) was also absolutely delicious. This spot can definitely get busy and crowded, and wouldn't be my first choice to study/work at, but it's definitely worth a stop by for a quintessentially LA cafe experience if you're in the Venice area! read more

The review is for the coffee as a local who drinks coffee on Abbott Kinney daily - ordered: - cortado which I judge all coffee shops by and their matcha. Neither one hit - coffee is avg at best, they are not about the pull, grind, extraction ( go to Intelligencia for coffee lovers). So yes it's a beautiful build out but it's just about a celebrity following and not the coffee or match- maybe the dessert type drinks will cover up the avg coffee and matcha. Stopped in today for the first time for a late morning treat! Think they've only been open a couple months. The space was very inviting, good vibes, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. I tried their carrot coconut bread, which was delicious and I ended up getting a chai latte, which was perfect. Everyone in the café was equally friendly. I chatted with many people sitting on either side of me. The space was well done. This was a great addition to Abbott Kinney definitely will go back. read more
