After placing our orders, we received a text that let us know to go nearby to the food truck to pick them up. The double burgers were tasty and the fries delicious. Our slushie drinks were exceptional. We enjoyed our meal before walking over to the game. As the ballgame ended, there was a notification that there was a severe thunderstorm and we should shelter in place by staying in the stadium. Since we had a bit of a drive home, we decided to get ahead of the weather and traffic and leave early. Well, we had only walked one block when the bottom fell out. We were drenched. We decided to run back into Wild Leap before we got our car next door. As we got to the front door, a young man (Manager? Shift manager?) whom we had seen working there earlier opened the door and welcomed us in. He immediately grabbed hand towels that were clean and dry for us to wipe off with and offered any assistance he could give us. We went to the restroom and tried to clean up a little, then came back out, handed over the towels and walked outside. It was still pouring out. The same man then insisted on running to his car to get his personal umbrella for us. He returned with the umbrella. My daughter used it as she got our car, then returned it to him.
