We ordered the no. 6 seafood potato noodle. Soup base was good, noodle was generous but there wasn't much seafood.

The food comes out quickly, though, so the wait is short. If you're a smaller party you're at an advantage - tables seat 2 or 4; larger parties that require combined tables will wait longer to be seated. We shared the shrimp and chive chang fen, pork and century egg congee, and the wonton soup. Chang fen had that slippery silkiness; it was packed with lightly cooked shrimp. Congee was good - the pork was nice and soft, the pi dan creamy. Won ton was fine - not as flavorful as the other dishes, but it hit the spot. Service is fast and friendly; they accept cash, debit, WeChat or Alipay. Parking is free and plentiful in the morning (if you come later in the day, it'll likely be full due to the sharing of the plaza by several other restaurants).

We ordered the soup with the expectation that it would be in some medium-sized bowl that the two of us can easily share. The soup actually was giant and is meant for a family. Luckily, it was absolutely delicious; the pork was super tender, the egg fits in perfectly, and the broth was tasty. Every drop was finished. The braised pork belly was also delicious. Tender and fatty, I wished there was so much more sauce for the rice to soak in. I'm also a super fan of pork floss, so loved its inclusion. The side is also noteworthy. The radish soup was so flavorful yet light, and the tofu was fantastic. Everything we ate was five stars on its own. Only panic was when paying our server said they only accept cash or debit? I only had credit cards and American money, but in the end, she was able to use my credit card. Not sure what that was about.

I wonder if it's also available on the weekends. It was available on Friday though. I wish there was the option to add pearls on the side for a price though. My set menu drink had no pearls. Not sure why that's not an option. Definitely a missed opportunity for the business imho. Oh... and the kimchi was a bit weird with the fact that it's overly sweet. Overall, good value and good food. Service depends on who you get. 3.5 stars

We came at the perfect time since a line formed after we got seated The tea was served in a lovely big pot too, it honestly felt like I was in China again. I'd been wanting to try some Xian specialities: particularly liangpi and paomo. My group shared two liangpi (the classic and the sesame, these were around 8-9 dollars each and you could probably eat one as a meal or share with someone as an appetizer/side), a biang biang noodle in Xian pork vinegar soup as well as a lamb paomo. Both liangpis which are cold chewy noodles were flavourful and had a great texture (I think I'd recommend classic if it's your first time!) What blew me away was the biang biang soup, the pork pieces were generous and the vinegarness of the soup was very unique. The paomo had vermicelli and lots of soaked bread pieces and lamb: much more gentle and lamb flavoured. Overall, portions were huge and the bill came out to around $55 for everything which was more than reasonable! Note that if your bill is under $30, they only take cash and if over, debit is an option but no credit. I'll definitely be back to this spot ‍

The broth is so flavorful and the beef is always fall-off-the-bone tender. Just a heads up, they do run out of the ribs so try to get here early if you would like to try it. The last couple of times we've come, the beef ribs were a bit smaller than they used to be, but they were awesome about making up for it. Last visit they threw in an extra rib, and today they gave us this massive extra bone loaded with tendon. I loved it. My wife was too shy to use her hands to eat it, so hey, bonus piece for me! Aside from the food, the service here is amazing. Everyone is super attentive and friendly. The vibe is really comforting to, it's way more spacious than your typical cramped pho restaurant. Parking is free during lunch, but you have to register your car if you're here after 6pm. It's cash or debit only.
