3.5 stars. Small modern noodle soup restaurant. Clean and new inside. This place is the Chinese equivalent of a ramen joint because it's a bit pricey, but the quality is higher than typical Chinese noodle places. There were only 4 broth choices when we went, also similar to many ramen restaurants where they strive for quality in a small variety of broth options. Our noodle soup came with 3 small side dishes, similar to Korean banchan. We tried the lamb bone and spicy chicken noodles with additional eggs on the side. Each soup used a different type of noodle (thick wide noodles for the lamb and thin long noodles for the chicken). The noodles lacked a bit of elasticity, but it seems many Chinese noodles are like this. The broth was the high point of the meal. It was flavourful and seemed to be made with quality ingredients. There were 4 slices of lamb, which was more than expected (many ramen places give 2 pieces of chashu). Shredded chicken was used in the chicken soup but there wasn't much of it. The add-on eggs were tasty, but don't expect soft yolks like at some ramen places since these are cooked Chinese style. Service was very friendly and they take credit cards, which was a plus. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we'll be back to try the beef and mushroom broths. read more

Great little spot for a quick bite , I was looking for something quick and craving noodles . Stumbled upon this little shop and glad I did . The Restraunt was clean , not too busy for 2pm, staff was friendly and the menu looked appealing . The menu is small but has a number of great choices . I had the medium spicy YouPo Mian , wide noodles with mixed beef/lamb , book choy , sprouts and a touch of broth . It was delicious , sweet , spicy , with a hint of vinegar . Very filling and perfect for a late lunch. I'll be back to try other menu items next time I am in the area . read more

We were intrigued by their promotion of all you can eat noodles for $12.95. We had never seen anything like this before especially all you can eat for just noodles! We arrived at 1:00 PM and found the restaurant wasn't too busy. Probably a third of the tables were occupied. The menu was simple, consisted of only 4 kinds of noodles. We were also informed that they had two more options that were not shown on the menu: youpo mian and cold noodles with shredded chicken. We ordered the cold noodles for our first round. We probably waited for 15 minutes for them. We were given 3 side dishes, and they were delicious. The noodles were a little bit too chewy for me as I had a hard time cutting the noodles with my teeth. The shredded chicken were too dry but there was a lot of chicken in there. The peanut sauce was tasty though. It was just the right amount to mix the noodles with without being too saucy overall. There were also lots of corn and bean sprouts. Next, we ordered the lamb bone broth noodles, and beef bone broth noodles. Again, we had to wait a while for our noodles to come. The lamb bone broth was very hearty and flavourful. On the other hand, the beef bone broth was a little bland. It wasn't as flavourful as the lamb broth. Definitely go for the lamb bone broth noodles if you want something hearty. For the last round, we got the spicy chicken noodles and the youpo noodles. The base of the youpo noodles was a blend of chilli oil and soy sauce. It was spicier than the spicy chicken, so maybe avoid this one if you can't eat spicy. I got wide noodles for the spicy chicken and it was really good. They were just the right consistency, I enjoyed the noodles much better than the regular ones. So we were there for two hours and only had three rounds of noodles. We wanted to get a fourth round in but we didn't have much time as we knew it would be a long wait. Service was okay but they were very friendly when I interacted with them. We had to ask for water whenever we finished ours. I would go back for their lamb bone broth noodles and switch it up for wide noodles for a hearty meal. read more

A bit over priced on the food. I ordered the Lamb noodle w/ vege side dishes and the marinated lamp meat. Lamb noodle taste mediocre, no surprise. Side vege has no great taste. Marinated lamp shoulder is a rip off. The meat is cold and dry. It is a $15 appatizer w/ 8 thin cold prices lamb meat that has close to no taste at all. read more

I stumbled upon this place after a doctor's appointment nearby. It was a wet and chilly day so I thought a hearty bowl of noodles would satisfy my craving for some comfort food. The menu looked simple but more pricey than what I would normally pay for lunch. I ordered the lamb broth noodles. I was thinking for $14 what kind of portions will I be getting? A few minutes passed and a tray was placed in front of me. I thought this was a neat presentation. It came with 3 side dishes consisting of picked vegetables and seaweed. Now that's where the value came in! The broth was good, not too watery and not salty one bit. Flat wide rice noodles were under the vegetables and meat. I ended up eating everything including drinking all of the soup. I was very satisfied overall. I would recommend this place. read more

Another hearty noodle soup spot! The decor is simple and casual. I opted for the lamb soup with wide noodles. The soup was flavorful but not overpowering, albeit gamey as expected. There's some bak choy and some fungus as toppings in the soup. To my surprise, it came with 3 side dishes: broccoli, peanuts and daikon. The side dishes weren't too sour, it was a nice addition to complement my meal. I especially loved the texture of the wide noodles!!! Presentation exceeded my expectations too. I had a training class close by, just walked down the street and decided to try this place. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen. It's more like kimchi with hot water and dehydrated chicken breast ..... and the noodle is not even Japanese ramen. On top of that, I never had noodles that tangled to a point that you pick one noodle, the whole bowl of noodles would be all together. The three side dishes were tasteless. At my first time there, I couldn't decide which one to order and the server there recommended the beef bone broth to me, which was indeed tasty. I really like that you get to pick the noodle type. We tried their all you can eat promo. The girl told us the wait would be an hour. We waited a little more than an hour and asked her how much longer it will take. She told us another 15 so we waited. 15 minutes passed and we were pretty much fed up and wanted a realistic time and got 40 minutes. Mind you that the time was 8:20PM. 40 minutes later would be their closing time. When were they going to tell everyone in line they wouldn't be served that night? Worse, I had called earlier in the week to try to book a reso but was told they weren't going to do resos. IF they had at least taken reso they would know how full it would be and not have everyone coming and waiting for two hours only for them to close at 9:30. Also, how was management seating people? We saw people who came after us get seated only because they had the right party size for the table. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THEY ARE THE RIGHT PARTY SIZE. What's the point of having a wait list if you were just going to seat people based on party size anyways? Terrible service. In the end we just left and won't ever try this place. read more

Came here for unlimited noodle promo. Very unprofessionnal service. The first noodle bowl was good, with good broth. The subsequent bowls were watered down and very light. The noodle quality is very random. Sometimes, you get great noodles that are served immediately. Other times, they are soggy and obviously have been sitting in water for too long. The service quality is horrible. They make you wait for over half an hour for each bowl, and lots of potential customers were turned away from the lineup. People were asked to sit with strangers, and management of overall service was extremely bad and inefficient. Water was rarely filled up and no one seems to know what's going on. Love One Noodle! I've been back 3 or 4 times. They consistently serve really fresh and light noodles. It's the kind that fills you up without making you feel super bloated and heavy. The soup is super rich. You can tell that they spend a lot of time and effort boiling the soup with all the bone broth goodness. My favourite dishes are the Lamb Bone Soup noodles and Beef Bone Broth Soup noodles. All soup noodle bowls are served with 3 delicious side dishes. They were slightly different each time I came in. I think I've seen radish, peanuts, bamboo shoots, and potatoes. Definitely recommend the spot. read more

I ordered the lamb soup and noodle bowl. The dish arrived quickly (about 5 min) and looked nice, but the presentation of the lamb was somewhat off putting because of how it was cut. I felt like I was looking at a cadaver instead of food. Despite the looks, the meat was succulent and flavorful and you get four pieces, which is good compared to some places. However the meat was lukewarm, which was noticeable compared to the hot soup. The noodles were bland but the hearty broth made up for it. The broth was actually almost too hearty lol. After half the bowl I quickly felt saturated with the stuff. I must say what brought this experience from 2 to 3 stars was the marvelous 3 side dishes provided with the main noodle dish. They were pickled cucumbers, pickled peppers and beans, and fried mushrooms neatly presented alongside the noodle bowl. Theses dishes perfectly cut through the oil of the lamb broth. I felt sufficiently full after the meal. The Service was nice and attentive, although I was the only one there that day, along with a family who had their food already. For $13.75 it's not bad, and I may come again if I'm in the area and feeling something hearty and warm. read more
