The two sisters that work there are so friendly and they do exactly what you ask for. They do all kinds of designs! Even if you don't know what you want (like myself) they'll come up with something cute and if you don't like it, they'll do it over. I would schedule an appointment ahead of time, but they accept walk-ins also. I dropped in on a Friday afternoon and they weren't too busy. Really fuckin rude and I haven't even set foot in here. I called and explained I would like a gel fill with simple design, and I'm pretty picky about my nails so I request to be with someone experienced, please. (My regular nail lady is out of town, that's the ONLY reason I even considered going here) Her response was: "We don't take requests like that at this salon so we probably aren't a good fit for you." There is DEFINITELY a more polite way to say that rather than turning away my business. I work in customer service and would never treat someone that way. read more

I've been coming here for about a year...I moved to the east bay a few years ago, and had a really hard time finding a nail shop that could deliver on quality and style--until I came here. The owner and her daughter know their shit, I always leave the shop satisfied with a fresh set of fancy tricked out nails. I love every new set and design that I get...Phuong does all the designs and she's really talented. I've brought in photos of nails I like and she is able to freehand the pattern or design FLAWLESSLY. The staff is always friendly, and they take care of their customers. After visiting many nail salons in the Bay Area even SoCal the work here is top notch..Phuong is very talented and she can basically do anything you ask for LIKE literally anything lol! I've had so many compliments from ppl everywhere I go and I refer them but she's always to far for ppl to travel. She's not only amazing at what she does but she's cool and will talk to you unlike other nail places they can barely speak English lol but she's young so she knows wassup. My girls will ask me to come get there nails done and I'm like no I only go to my girl in San Leandro! That being said only thing is because she's so good she's always busy! So make an appt! I stop by after work around 530. They told me there were a few appointments ahead of me so the wait going to be over an hour. I told them ok. I read the reviews on yelp and I seen they do good work so I was willing to wait. I went to get something to eat and I came back. The owner did a great job on my acrylic nails. She shaped them just like I wanted and it was a very neat job. Her daughter did my design and it came out exactly how I wanted it was perfect. I attached a picture so you guys can see. I'm giving 2 stars for 2 reasons: Star 1: the designs are very cute Star 2: the staff is friendly My nails started lifting 3 days after I got them done & one broke the next day. I called and only got 1/2 my money back. I get they need to make their money but after 2-3 days and lifting happens (not a little bit around the entire cuticle) that's not cool. Their guarantee is only 24 hours but they should really have more confidence in their work and not just have a 1 day guarantee. read more

So happy I found this place, thank you fellow yelpers! Info: I called on Monday they answered the phone even though they were closed so I made an appointment for the following day. Location: It was easy to find, parking wasn't problem but I can see that it could be if it was busier and my appointment was on time. I hate when you make an appointment and bust your butt to be there on time and you still have to wait another 15 minutes or so. Service: I had a pink and white powder fill with Uyen. She took her time and made sure each nail looked perfect. She was a perfectionist which I love since I can be pretty particular about my nails. They turned out wonderful and I haven't had them look this great in awhile. I love all of the designs they offer, you can see that they are very talented. I haven't gotten my nails done in quite sometime and figured it was time I did something with them. The service my mother and I received was great. We were a walk in, so there was no appointment, but we were taken right away. Possibly because we came in nearly before closing, but still. The women that were working were very sweet and knew exactly what they were doing. I had gotten just simple black, claw type nails and they had finished very quickly and were no mess ups. The only problem I had was that I really couldn't understand the woman when she asked me questions, but that's not really their problem because they can't just get rid of their heavy accent. For a well-known nail spot, its a small staff of three women who bust their asses to ensure they can fit everyone in because its a tragedy when a girl can't get her nails done, trust me. Phoung is dope, I love her to death. You will need a strong sense of humor to get her humor but she's amazing. She does all the nail designs and she's the funniest person to talk to. I'm late with this review. I went due to being tired of my salon not being able to do designs. Sad I know. I seen Phoungs work via Instagram and thought I'd go. I was in and out fast. I got something simple for the first go round. When I go back I'll get more detailed work. The only thing I didn't like was she had to put white under my colored polish but didn't cover the white I all areas so it showed some. Next time I'll let her know to really try and get great coverage with the Polish. Other than that I have no issues. As you can see that's not a deal breaker. My price point is moderate bc like said I got something I'd consider basic. But this lil lady is very talented. I like young blood they keep it fresh and up to date. read more

To my surprise, I didn't have to wait at all to be taken care of and there was only one other customer there besides me. 2. Cash only!
