Traditional Thai spot near the LAX airport. It has a parking lot so you won't have to look for street parking. It's family owned and the portions are huge! We got the Pineapple Fried Rice that had sweet Pineapple chunks throughout. The Thai Coconut Soup was pretty good too. Nice and creamy that paired well. Let me preface this review by saying the low stars is for 2 reasons only.... their chana Thai shrimp roll and customer service. I was extremely disappointed when I ordered these rolls! The rolls for being spring rolls are actually quite large, what was disappointing was the fact that each roll only have 1 single piece of shrimp. What was even more enraging was when I started eating the roll I found that the single piece of shrimp was actually CUT IN HALF! Wtffffffff so essentially I paid almost $11 for lettuce and 1.5 pieces of shrimp. Not cool. When I called back to voice my concern. They told me that I could bring it back for store credit (I live over 20 mins away). When I expressed that it was an inconvenience to bring it back they said they couldn't do anything else. Make it make sense!!! Other than those two things. Their portions are great for what you pay and their pad woon sen is to die for! read more

I didn't expect to receive maybe a gallon each of Tea and noodles that night I'm exaggerating, but it's a lot of food and drink!! I use to love coming to this location for Thai food since it's closer to home, but I feel like their quality in food has gone down. Their egg roles tasted like the frozen pre made ones- which sucks. Their Tum Yum soup lacked flavor and was too sweet. I also ordered pad kee mow which was decent, but not that great. Their only saving grace was their Thai iced tea, which isn't always great at other thai restaurants. Overall the food was underwhelming despite the fact that it smells delicious. Chana Thai is okay Thai food. It's can't hold a candle to any of the Thai restaurants in Thai town, but I recognize that Inglewood is very far from Thai town. It would be okay to satisfy a Thai craving when in the area, but nothing worth going out of your way for. Similarly priced, it is pretty inexpensive to eat here (~$40 for two entrees, a starter of chana thai rolls, and two non-alcoholic drinks, generous portions) so no complaints there. (#10) Chana Thai Roll - Thin rice paper wrapped with lettuce, basil, bean sprouts, and carrot, served with Hoisin (soy bean) flavor dip. We added shrimp for $1 which I recommend doing, since without the shrimp there wouldn't be much to these. Pretty good, and worth ordering. (#31) Pad See Ew Noodles - add white meat chicken - The flavor was a bit stronger and different than I'm used to from other Thai places. I think the dishes here are definitely less traditional and catered to a less "authentic" audience. The best part of this dish was the broccoli. So nice that this place is minute away because we just found a new Thai food spot! This food was good! Very fresh, flavorful without being salty or greasy! So I called in our or since we got delivery which took about 45 minutes. The girl was delightful over the phone. We ordered the Thai wings, spicy chicken fried rice and egg rolls. All were excellent choices. We both had 2 plates of the food! Yum! To say the wings are delicious are an under statement. Egg rolls crispy on the outside and nice filling on the inside. An order of Pad Kee Mow (spicy noodles) to go along with an order of BBQ Spareribs, please. That's what I ordered for dinner the other night when I stopped in at Chana Thai Cuisine. Walking into an empty restaurant always concerns me because I'm left wondering if the food or service is bad. But, I always stick around because I like being proved wrong in those instances. And I was proven wrong the other night. It's a fairly small restaurant, which seems to do a lot of to-go or delivery business. My hostess who was also my server and cashier handled the restaurant by herself, which only consisted of three parties. Even by herself, she was attentive, friendly and nice. The food was labeled spicy and it would be for those with sensitive mouths, but not for me. In fact, the Pad Kee Mow was a little on the bland side until I dropped some salt on it and the flavor just popped. The egg flat noodles were cooked well, the vegetables not overdone but the beef portion was a little sad. Overall, I liked the dish. The Spareribs were meh. The ribs weren't slipping off the bone good. A little on the tough side too. One of the ribs seemed to be old and possibly just heated up. Either that or it was just overdone. Whatever the case - I didn't like the Spareribs all that much. The service was great though. Not only did she package up my noodles, but she also refilled my water glass a few times without me having to ask. I always appreciate service like that. I saw some of the other dishes that the other two tables had ordered and they all looked tasty. The soup and rice dishes looked the best from what I could see. I'll definitely be back for more. It was one of those times when I felt too lazy to go out and get some food. I hadn't had Thai food in awhile and I usually go to Siam Chan in Mar Vista. I remembered I had gotten one of those $2 off weekend coupon codes from Eat24. This restaurant was one of a few Thai restaurants that popped up in the surrounding area. The reviews seemed very positive. Chana is located west of Randy's Donuts on Manchester. I ordered my usual favorites like pad Thai chicken, yellow curry chicken, beef panang, and tom kha chicken soup. I really liked the food. I found a new place to order from although even though Eat24 gave $2 off delivery, they made up for that amount because the prices they charged for food items was higher than the listed price in the restaurant's printed menu. It's probably smarter to just call up the restaurant next time to order take out or delivery instead of ordering through Eat24. Delivery time was reasonable and within the time frame promised. The lady who brought the food was also nice. Next time I'll order earlier in the day and take advantage of the lunch specials. I only wish that Chaya served mee krob, one of my favorite Thai dishes. read more

We got sat down right away Upon ordering I asked our server what he would recommend since it was my first time He suggested the combination rice BBQ chicken And we added the pad Thai We patiently waited for our food to arrive 35 almost 40 minutes later. The combination stir fried rice came out Half way through the place of rice Our pad Thai came out The combination stir fried rice was ok Flavor was good But we needed a bit more spice We decided to ask for Sriracha Although they had sriracha chicken in the menu They had no sriracha available for the customers But they had a sweet and sour chili oil Which wasn't enough for spice Pad Thai was a bit too sweet and had zero spice at all what so ever Again we decided to ask if they had some chili flakes Or anything that could possibly add some type of spice to our food We were then handed a chili powder which did the trick for spice for the time being Upon finishing our two plates Our server asks if we had a 3rd order which was the BBQ chicken She apologizes as she proceeds to ask the cooks if they had made the chicken. Which they hadn't. Since we were basically done with our meals we just told her to cancel that order. Service was ok could have definitely been better. We LOVE this place. All I have to say is CURRIED FRIED RICE. Why have I not found this elsewhere before? All the indulgent fry of fried rice with the spice of Curry. I crave it. I love the Salmon Choo Choo as well but wish it wasn't just a 'meal' ala one compartment of the fish and then rice and a veggie on the side. I wish they offered this family size or stye like other dishes as my husband and I always want more and not the sides. This is my new favorite place for Thai. Side note though - the owners closed for 2 weeks and never put a notification on the website or even their voice mail. It made me think they had closed for good. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! I never even ordered.I love thai food and wanted to suport a local restaurant. But, as I was entering the restaurant, some guy pushed me 'out of his way'. Not bumped. He shoved me to the side and kept walking. I complained to him and he told me to be quiet. I was stunned. I don't know this person, I just walked in.
