My service date was 6/16/26 2 concerns: - Toe is throbbing and inflamed after pedicure - owners and nail techs unprofessional behavior 1. Towards the end of my pedicure, I informed the nail tech Van my toe was hurting after she cut too deep into the ingrown nail attached to the skin. She says I was sensitive to acetone and then blamed me for asking her to file shorter. When I clarified that the pain was from where she cut or pulled at the nail attached to skin towards the root, her response was, "Well, you didn't tell me not to." Very inappropriate response. I'm here to relax, not micromanage. 2. Van and another nail tech made insulting remarks about me in Vietnamese not knowing I understood them. When I brought this concern to the business owner's husband, Cliff, he was kind, empathetic, and professional. Unfortunately, my issue was with the actual owner and how she handled my concern. When I brought it up to the owner, she totally dismissed my experience and said, "We don't do that here." I corrected her by letting her know she cannot speak on my experience since she wasn't even there. After dismissing my concerns, she made up excuses for her employees behavior and simply tapped me on the shoulder, smiled, said sorry, and walked away. 3. Her husband Cliff wanted to make things right with me by offering a discount. The owner was visibly upset when he did and made a comment of, "But she didn't ask for a discount, but you do what you want." It's extremely inappropriate and unprofessional of her as a business owner to do so right in front of me. That is something not to be discussed in front of a customer that's already upset. It showed a real lack of self-awareness and professionalism. How she reacted to the discount made her apology feel completely disingenuous. Waiting for a customer to have to ask the business to make things right instead of offering reflects poorly on the business. I'm upset at the owner's dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and the way she spoke about the discount in front of me. That's no way to handle a concern from an upset customer. My toe was throbbing and swollen many days after the service. Please reference the photo I have posted.

Bi was amazing! She recreated my inspo photo perfectly, and this is one of my favorite acrylic sets I've ever gotten. She was incredibly attentive to detail and made the nail shape and color exactly how I wanted them. She even found the perfect nude gel color to match my skin tone. I can't wait to go back for my next set! Overall, the nail salon was clean and organized, and they sat me down very quickly. They were also thoughtful to offer fruit and water as soon as I got there.

Absolutely love my nails and the service! This was my first time at ChaNails Spa and they definitely did not disappoint! Making an appointment: I called the day before (Friday) to see if I would be able to get an appointment for the next day (Saturday) as I wanted to get my nails done for my anniversary (Sunday), to which they said yes, they had an open slot at 1pm. Service: When I arrived, I was greeted warmly, was shown the list of nail colors I could choose from, and was sat down right after. I had sent a few photos of the nail inspiration I was interested in having done, then Jenny and another nail technician (unfortunately I didn't get his name but he was really sweet) made sure to go over the details with me and to double check the colors (which I greatly appreciated). Once we confirmed that I wanted to do Gel X and the final design, Jenny got straight to my nails and made sure that she took her time to perfect the details for the nails, which was super amazing to see. After 2 hours, I saw the final product and I was absolutely happy with them, they were exactly what I wanted and even hubby loved them! Initial thoughts: I'll be honest, I was a little nervous at first as I know that putting a design on nails can be tricky, especially when replicating another persons work. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the final product, and Jenny did an amazing job and exceeded all expectations! It is exactly like the photo and I couldn't be happier! Final thoughts: All I can say is that I am definitely coming back and if you want to get nail art done perfectly for a great price, this is honestly the place to go. The attention to detail, ability to connect with you, and the price was all worth it. Oh, and they were also running a pretty good promotion when I went, which was if you're a new client (meaning this was the first time getting your nails done with them), you'll get 20% off your first time, and I think they also have a reward system too which is pretty nice! So sorry for the paragraph but honestly, super happy with my nails, they honestly nail(ed) it! Thank you again Jenny and the ChaNails Spa team, I will definitely be back!

I've been going to Chanails exclusively for over a year now because I am so impressed with their service! I am SUPER picky and love intricate designs and Hannah ALWAYS delivers!! She checks in often during the process to make sure that I am happy and I love that! Everyone in the salon is amazing but Hannah is my girl!!! I encourage all the "nail baddies" to come to Chanails! You won't be disappointed!!!

This is the Best Nail Salon I have ever been to I always feel super relaxed and calm while I am here and after I leave. I love Van she does a great job on me feet and legs. I do not ever want to go to anyone else after coming here. Best Nail Salon in Morgan Hill! Everyone here is super sweet including the owner David! The vibe is always super chill so nice and relaxing for anyone. Now they just need a massage therapist to go along with it hahahaha the total package! Thanks so much you all, Have a great day! :)

First time here - Booked with Matt for my halloween nails. I'm pretty happy with the results! He did great making sure he followed my inspo picture and took his time. This set was $120 though but glad they offered builder gel which makes my nails healthier and longer.

The only place to go for your nails, waxing and facials! The staff is amazing, gentle and friendly. Always do a fabulous job! I'm extremely happy with the detail and professionalism! The Salon is so well appointed and cleanliness is a priority! Perfect place to pamper yourself! You deserve it.

They are the absolute best! I always come in with some complicated design i find on social media and they never disappoint. Hannah is my usual tech she's so detailed in every step which I appreciate. And Judy!! She does the best pedicures! I've also been to several others here and all of them are phenomenal! Definitely recommend!

I have been happy every time I have gone there. I've had different technicians each time, and they have done a great job, but the past few times I've had Chau do my nails, and I have been so happy every time. She is friendly and does exactly what you want for your nails. Sometimes I have her recommend something for me, and she's always spot on. I love the fact that the handicap parking is so close to the nail salon, so it doesn't take me long to walk there. They also always accommodate me so I don't have to walk very far.

Came in on a Monday around 2pm..called ahead and they told me to come right in! I was referred to get Bonnie/Dave. I got Bonnie for my pedicure and Jo for my manicure. Dave was off. Soooo good! I got the Coco Chanail Pedi and regular mani. From beginning to end- top tier. The owner, Lien was so sweet and offered me green tea and sweet grapes! They were sweet & delicious! I almost don't want to review so that I can keep this spot to myself. She has been here for 2 years..who knew! Prices are comparable to KNB down the street. I pay for quality and service. The nail techs keep their talking to a bare minimum. Very refreshing and provides for a very relaxing experience! I will be back! Thank me later :)

Dave and Jenny, the owners are amazing and provide top quality service. The give us relaxing and very aesthetically pleasing. Their staff is amazing and I can recommend them all Matt, Amber, Van, and Judy do wonderful nails and pedicures. This is a true nail soda and they don't skimp on the details. Absolutely incredible service and artistic techniques. Everyone takes pride in their art and it shows. I have been going to Dave now since 2016. I don't go anywhere else to get my nails done.

After trying many different nail salons in Morgan Hill, I decided to give ChaNails a try and I am SO glad that I did. I got an acrylic gel refill and a gel pedicure. I showed Jenny a picture of what I wanted and she knew exactly what to do! Everyone who works here is welcoming, friendly, and very good at their job. Two of my friends came with me today and they were also pleased with the way that their nails turned out. I'm so happy with these nails, y'all - I drove 1 hour away to get some fire nails & honestly 100% worth. David is a really sweet and talented nail tech. He was really careful and made sure I liked my nails and took care of me. I wouldn't normally be comfortable to tell the nail tech what I wanted too much and let them do their thing. I got my nails done here yesterday and I'm in love!!! My nails were done by Dave, who was literally soooo kind and attentive. He made sure I was comfortable with the nail length and shape. The design he did on my nails looks gorgeous!! Dave really is the best!! My sister got a gel manicure and pedicure. I'm not sure who attended her but I believe one of them was Jenny:) Her nails look amazing as well. I cannot recommend this place enough!! I'm looking forward to my next nail appointment:) read more

It's a small shop but the customer service was amazing. From the moment I stepped in they remembered my name! I've been having such a hard time finding a nail salon I'm comfortable with. Other salons are too busy, I don't leave with what I asked for, I kept getting my cuticles cut. Everyone was so kind and friendly, I immediately got a chair even though I was early for my appointment. I felt so relax and comfortable. And Jenny was amazing. She took every detail into account giving me exactly what I wanted. She did the shape perfectly and the color came out exactly how I wanted. I use to leave my old salon sad and disappointed but I know for sure I will be going back to Chanails. Thank you Jenny and Dave! See you guys next time for a fill! read more

ChaNails has done it again!! (Tried my best to get a clear photo ) This is the second time I've come here & I've decided I don't want to go anywhere else for acrylics. As much as I would have liked to have my nails done by Dave the owner who did my beautiful nails my previous visit. The place is small, but cute and cozy ... and the location is ok, close to downtown! but I have never had ANYONE in my life do my nails better than David the owner! Talk about talent and attention to detail!!! They even accommodated me and four of other girls at the same time which was not easy since it's a smaller nail spa. I went in to get dip done and this place is absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and I absolutely love my nails. Not a lot of places do dip and when they do they have very limited colors. This salon has a variety of colors and they helped me achieve a natural look with my nails, which I love. Most salons rush and don't do too good of a job, but ChaNails did a perfect job! You won't be disappointed coming here! read more

It was my first time getting a pedicure and Dave (the owner) was absolutely wonderful. Service was great as well, they let you know about the new trends going on and products they use. His wife Jenny and Andy who work there also were very friendly and made me feel welcomed. Overall it's a great atmosphere, would definitely recommend! read more

I stumbled on this place on Yelp & I was pleasantly surprised by my first experience here. I was warmly greeted by Dave, got a pedicure from Jenny & gel manicure from Van, & loved how they came out. It is formly known as "Star Nails," so the location caught me off guard, but it's still being remodeled. These people are very friendly & do a great job at making sure your comfortable & happy with your services. Definitely will be coming here again read more

This was my first time going to any salon at all for any type of nail service. I was taken in right away after making an appointment. Jenny and David were so helpful and walked me through the different phases/choices since I had little to no idea on what to do or what to pick. I absolutely love this nail salon! I live about 45 mins away and I came in for the first time after hearing a lot of good reviews I decided to try it out. I was in contact with Dave and he was always really nice! So we set up an appointment and when I went in for my appointment he was super nice and made getting my nails done such a positive experience it was cool seeing the extra steps he took and how much he paid attention to detail! I will definitely be a regular client of Dave's and I cannot wait to see what we come up with doing next! read more

Amazing experience!! Came here to take off a set that I had and they were very knowledgeable about what I needed to do to get my nails to 100%. During my visit got to chat and also throw around some nail ideas that I've been wanting to try for a while and they were awesome to let me know that they could do it on me! I don't know how else to reply to the owner's response, so I am "updating" my review. Though I very much appreciate your response and it goes to show how much your take pride in your business, I still will not be returning even if it were to "correct". To answer your questions, I did NOT do dip powder. I did NOT ask for the ingrowns to be removed. I was informing that I GOT an ingrown after having my nails cut at your salon. The worst and most painful ingrown I've ever had. Unfortunately, half my nails chipped off after a week! I have NEVER had this issue at other salons where my fill would last 4+ weeks if I wanted it to, no chipping what so ever. Best of luck to you and your business. Thank you :) read more

Tried this place last week based on reviews. I am so disappointed! Gel manicure looks horrible! She didn't ask any questions just handed me the color palate and started grinding away on my existing manicure. One coat later she questioned me about a 2nd coat! She didn't clean off any of the polish that wasn't on my nails and in general seemed not happy about being there. I'll never go back. read more

First time I went to ChaNails, I made an appointment for 12:30 to get a new set of acrylics. Walked in and was seated right away, but had to wait 45 minutes before someone even looked at my nails. They were super nice and did not charge for the design, but that still didn't make up for the combined time of 90 minutes I spent waiting. They were over booked and prioritized walk ins over appointments. Second time I went, I made an appointment on Monday for Wednesday through the texting of Yelp. It was a little too easy. I walked in, and they didn't even have my name written down in the book for my appointment. Frustrating! They said they would take me in 2 hours if I wanted to wait but I went to another salon instead that I know will not keep me waiting. I thought this place would be amazing, considering all of the other reviews. But it was a bit of a bust. read more

I just tried ChaNails for the first time today and I got an acrylic set by Dave! He was very detailed and did a very good job on them. If you live in or near Morgan Hill this is the place to go! Linh has been doing my nails for almost 6 years now and is the BEST! She always does an amazing shape and can bring what I ask for to life. I went here for the first time yesterday because my friend recommended it. Ally did such a nice job on my nails! I'm very picky about the shape of my nails and she did them exactly how I wanted. She also regularly checked to make sure I was ok with the shape and color. She was also so kind when I burst into a coughing fit and she offered me some hot water (so sorry !). Formerly known as Star Nails, this store has been established for over decades and is very well known in Morgan Hill. We have recently remodeled and changed our name to CHANAILS Spa, focusing on sanitation and the latest products to better our customers’ experience.

Meet the Business Owner: Dave N.

Our main priority at CHANAILS Spa is to offer the latest trends in the industry while committing ourselves to the highest safety practices to protect our customers. All equipment are sterilized and sanitized before each service and treatment. We also use a new plastic pedicure disposable liner for every customer to prevent the spread of bacteria and contamination between clients. In addition, each client will receive their own set of file, buffer, and pumice for manicure and pedicure services.

She asked if there was anything else she could do to help me feel at ease and I replied, "your magic is already magic." Her massage table was gently heated beneath the sheets. She offered to increase the heat if I liked, which I agreed to. Helped so much with relaxing my muscles. Her technique is superb. She remembered that while I came in for "deep tissue" massage, I prefer light to medium pressure. Her hands can read where the aches and knots are, and I even become aware of them only at the moment she touches them! Warm. Velvet. Gentle. Firm. Forgiving. Home. That's what her massages feel like. I definitely deserve this. The vibe: thoughtfully themed with butterflies, which personally feels like I'm surrounded by my ancestors. The "tree of life" framed on the wall helps root me. I had to ask a total of 3 TIMES for a refund because the 3 people working there kept asking me what I wanted? They weren't listening to me and proceeded to ask if I wanted to get it fixed. I then took off my sock to show them the results of what had happened and they proceeded to say, "We can't give you a refund. That's YOUR fault." I am so disappointed by their attitudes, the way they spoke to me and how they just shrugged their shoulders. I will not be returning here after having this interaction.

The ladies here were very welcoming, help me to check in at the kiosk, and then set me at one of the chairs for my pedicure. Kay did an amazing job getting my pedicure and helping me to relax during the process. Loved the presentation of the tray with the flowers and the creams and the lotions and the oils that they used in the pedicure. It was a nice touch. I splurged a bit and got the hot towels and the hot rocks and the massage on the feet and legs and went with the pink color for my toes being that it's still summertime. Annie did my fill and she did an awesome job. I went with the French tip and she gave me exactly what I wanted added a little flower for design and a little bit of sparkle. all the staff here was very welcoming and friendly and did an amazing job at performing their task. I did pay a bit more however it is worth it because you're getting quality service. The ambience here, as soon as you walk in the door, is very relaxing with soft music playing. Employees do have side conversations however their voices are very low and not distracting from your relaxing atmosphere. I can definitely see myself coming here again to get the royal treatment in nails and pedicures.

I'm not too picky with lines of manicure but I do require cleanliness, I'm not sure if they pass that test as today I had to ask Kim if her file was new as it looked scuffed and used. She didn't hesitant to change it for me. A lady nearby had her own manicure tools kit, which she asked them to use. I'm gonna jump on Amazon and get my own to use moving forward. I don't trust it nor do I want to chance it, besides it's a great idea to have your own tools to eliminate the unknown.
