Downside, it was hot in there, wait time was long, and so they were rushing to get to the next person. The pressure was on and it was felt. Everyone was busy. I'm not too picky with lines of manicure but I do require cleanliness, I'm not sure if they pass that test as today I had to ask Kim if her file was new as it looked scuffed and used. She didn't hesitant to change it for me. A lady nearby had her own manicure tools kit, which she asked them to use. I'm gonna jump on Amazon and get my own to use moving forward. The good: I got a $20 maroon/purple colored (#46) regular manicure by Oanh and I liked that it was pretty quick and efficient. The price was about average for this type of manicure. I don't think I was charged extra to remove my previous dip powder gel. I liked that walk-ins were welcome. They also do eyelashes and hair here. I really like the shape Oanh gave me on my nails and appreciated that she needed no direction. There is plenty of parking here. The interior of the shop has lots of red color and there's a TV to keep you entertained. The bad: Rather than soak my fingers in acetone to remove the previous dip powder gel, the nail technician used an acrylic nail to lift it off. It was effective but I imagine that it can be damaging to the live nail bed underneath the gel as some layers of it can be removed. Tried this nail salon yet again & still received bad service. Why can't the person that starts your nails also finish your nails? I get into the chair, one person starts to do my nails, then stops and tells me she'll be right back, then proceeds to paint a little girls nails, then fixes another person's 1 nail, then she tells another nail tech to do my nails because her appointment now showed up. If you knew your appointment would be coming shortly, why start my nails? And why paint the little girls nails or fix the 1 nail for the other adult? My experience here was amazing! They are all so kind and welcoming! Four of us walked in last minute and they made time for us without any hesitation. They treated us like family. Julie did my nails and I love them!! She shaped them very nicely/straight and took her time to make sure they look perfect. I'm very picky with my nails and I have absolutely no complaints. I didn't even have to tell her to fix anything. She got them right the first time. The owner, I believe her name is Tina, is so friendly as well. She had such positive energy. She also assisted in painting my nails and did my sister's nails and she did an amazing job. Thuy did my friend's pedicure and my friend said she felt so relaxed. She loved her pedicure! I went in here to get eyebrow waxing down. From the beginning the whole experience was not great. There was a lady in there before me that had her son's haircut done there. they didn't tell her it's cash only so when she tried to pay with her debit card they said they couldn't accept it. Which I don't understand why they wouldn't tell her cash only prior to doing haircut. Finally they agreed to accept Zelle payment. With me, they completely burnt the area under my eye as you can see in the pictures. My face was burning so much after getting the waxing done, and now it makes sense why. It's because they used too hot of wax that caused burns! And so randomly the person that did my eyebrows put dirty wry crumpled up paper towel on my face saying it would help with the redness. It may not look like a star nail salon from the outside, but as they say, don't judge a book by it's cover. This salon is located in the plaza next to Dollar Tree and the only location left for Flames. Parking is plentiful and they usually take walk ins but I like to call ahead the day of to make sure. As the shop states, it is both a salon for nails and hair but I can only leave a review for their pedicures as that is the primary reason I come here. They offer you a menu to chose from and I typically chose the Deluxe Pedicure which comes with all the typical pedicure treatments as well as a 15 minute massage with hot stones and a paraffin wax all for $57. The technicians who work here are very thorough and really ensure you leave with super clean and beautiful feet! They are not at all pushy and force you to upgrade your treatments like some other nail salons do. The main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 were for two issues: during the summer it gets super hot inside and they don't seem to want to invest in A/C and rely instead on leaving their door open which attracts flies which can be irritating. We have also come here once when the owner was on vacation and it was (to put it bluntly) a mess. They were clearly understaffed and under booked but kept taking people in and made everyone upset by their lack of attention to detail and customers that day. However, we know that it was a one time occurrence and not their normal way to handle business so we chose to overlook it. As long as the owner is there, everything runs smoothly and we will continue to support their business. read more

Overall, would not come back. First two experiences were decent but the third and final was horrible and I now question the business's integrity. She proceeded to lie to my face and say she did, when I was watching the entire time. Then she tried to deflect. I just ended up paying. Felt like they cheated and stole from me. Extremely dishonest. My nails are growing out and now it's very obvious that no acrylic was applied. I wanted to be happier with the service I received. Don't get me wrong it wasn't ALL bad, but certainly could have been better. To start, I called and made an appointment for eyelash extensions, eyebrow wax, full set and pedicure. I was ready to spend a good amount of money treating myself. First, the eyelash extensions. The process was relatively smooth but she had to do some adjustments as they were poking my eye. The bad? I've already lost half of them within 2 days. I didn't get them wet in this time, never rubbed my eyes and I'm a back sleeper. What more can I do? Second, the new set of nails. I was happy with how they turned out but the technician, Gina, never did my cuticles and was rough with the the machine filer. To top it all off, the powder didn't even go to my cuticle line (see picture) and she left considerable dried colored powder on my fingers. Instead, she passed me off to the pedicure station to help a different customer after her rush job. I ended up asking the pedicure lady to clean it for me. Also, I noticed when I got home that one of the nails is already cracked underneath. Oof. Third, the eyebrow waxing. No real complaints here. I did ask for eyebrow wax with a hairline clean up. I still have some weird patches she missed while rushing while another client was laying in the next bed waiting for her. I guess I'm content with cleaning the rest at home. Last, the pedicure. This was done by Angel who was fantastic. Honestly, the major saving grace for my opinion of this place and the only reason I'm giving this a 2 star review. She was super attentive, very courteous and did a great job. All in all, I don't think I'll be back. The icing on the cake? They didn't tell anyone BEFORE services that their credit card machine was broken. They pushed for you to pull money out of their ATM or if you really refused, they'd let you use Zelle. I used to frequently come to this salon because it's close by home, but I will no longer come back. The only one star I can give is for Annie. She does a great job on pedis and she's always so happy! Annie definitely brightens up the mood in the salon despite the other workers who are always gossiping about the customers they're working on. I love the ladies here. They're so nice and welcoming. Usually at other places, at least one person is rude or seems like they don't even want to help you but not here. The owner was walking around, checking on everyone and helping her ladies with getting tools from other stations if they needed. I tried to use the 10% off check in coupon but cuz of covid, they're not taking them right now, until everything is completely open. I've also gotten pedis here before and they always come out good.
