My service date was 6/16/26 2 concerns: - Toe is throbbing and inflamed after pedicure - owners and nail techs unprofessional behavior 1. Towards the end of my pedicure, I informed the nail tech Van my toe was hurting after she cut too deep into the ingrown nail attached to the skin. She says I was sensitive to acetone and then blamed me for asking her to file shorter. When I clarified that the pain was from where she cut or pulled at the nail attached to skin towards the root, her response was, "Well, you didn't tell me not to." Very inappropriate response. I'm here to relax, not micromanage. 2. Van and another nail tech made insulting remarks about me in Vietnamese not knowing I understood them. When I brought this concern to the business owner's husband, Cliff, he was kind, empathetic, and professional. Unfortunately, my issue was with the actual owner and how she handled my concern. When I brought it up to the owner, she totally dismissed my experience and said, "We don't do that here." I corrected her by letting her know she cannot speak on my experience since she wasn't even there. After dismissing my concerns, she made up excuses for her employees behavior and simply tapped me on the shoulder, smiled, said sorry, and walked away. 3. Her husband Cliff wanted to make things right with me by offering a discount. The owner was visibly upset when he did and made a comment of, "But she didn't ask for a discount, but you do what you want." It's extremely inappropriate and unprofessional of her as a business owner to do so right in front of me. That is something not to be discussed in front of a customer that's already upset. It showed a real lack of self-awareness and professionalism. How she reacted to the discount made her apology feel completely disingenuous. Waiting for a customer to have to ask the business to make things right instead of offering reflects poorly on the business. I'm upset at the owner's dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and the way she spoke about the discount in front of me. That's no way to handle a concern from an upset customer. My toe was throbbing and swollen many days after the service. Please reference the photo I have posted.

Bi was amazing! She recreated my inspo photo perfectly, and this is one of my favorite acrylic sets I've ever gotten. She was incredibly attentive to detail and made the nail shape and color exactly how I wanted them. She even found the perfect nude gel color to match my skin tone. I can't wait to go back for my next set! Overall, the nail salon was clean and organized, and they sat me down very quickly. They were also thoughtful to offer fruit and water as soon as I got there.

Absolutely love my nails and the service! This was my first time at ChaNails Spa and they definitely did not disappoint! Making an appointment: I called the day before (Friday) to see if I would be able to get an appointment for the next day (Saturday) as I wanted to get my nails done for my anniversary (Sunday), to which they said yes, they had an open slot at 1pm. Service: When I arrived, I was greeted warmly, was shown the list of nail colors I could choose from, and was sat down right after. I had sent a few photos of the nail inspiration I was interested in having done, then Jenny and another nail technician (unfortunately I didn't get his name but he was really sweet) made sure to go over the details with me and to double check the colors (which I greatly appreciated). Once we confirmed that I wanted to do Gel X and the final design, Jenny got straight to my nails and made sure that she took her time to perfect the details for the nails, which was super amazing to see. After 2 hours, I saw the final product and I was absolutely happy with them, they were exactly what I wanted and even hubby loved them! Initial thoughts: I'll be honest, I was a little nervous at first as I know that putting a design on nails can be tricky, especially when replicating another persons work. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the final product, and Jenny did an amazing job and exceeded all expectations! It is exactly like the photo and I couldn't be happier! Final thoughts: All I can say is that I am definitely coming back and if you want to get nail art done perfectly for a great price, this is honestly the place to go. The attention to detail, ability to connect with you, and the price was all worth it. Oh, and they were also running a pretty good promotion when I went, which was if you're a new client (meaning this was the first time getting your nails done with them), you'll get 20% off your first time, and I think they also have a reward system too which is pretty nice! So sorry for the paragraph but honestly, super happy with my nails, they honestly nail(ed) it! Thank you again Jenny and the ChaNails Spa team, I will definitely be back!

I've been going to Chanails exclusively for over a year now because I am so impressed with their service! I am SUPER picky and love intricate designs and Hannah ALWAYS delivers!! She checks in often during the process to make sure that I am happy and I love that! Everyone in the salon is amazing but Hannah is my girl!!! I encourage all the "nail baddies" to come to Chanails! You won't be disappointed!!!

This is the Best Nail Salon I have ever been to I always feel super relaxed and calm while I am here and after I leave. I love Van she does a great job on me feet and legs. I do not ever want to go to anyone else after coming here. Best Nail Salon in Morgan Hill! Everyone here is super sweet including the owner David! The vibe is always super chill so nice and relaxing for anyone. Now they just need a massage therapist to go along with it hahahaha the total package! Thanks so much you all, Have a great day! :)

First time here - Booked with Matt for my halloween nails. I'm pretty happy with the results! He did great making sure he followed my inspo picture and took his time. This set was $120 though but glad they offered builder gel which makes my nails healthier and longer.

The only place to go for your nails, waxing and facials! The staff is amazing, gentle and friendly. Always do a fabulous job! I'm extremely happy with the detail and professionalism! The Salon is so well appointed and cleanliness is a priority! Perfect place to pamper yourself! You deserve it.

They are the absolute best! I always come in with some complicated design i find on social media and they never disappoint. Hannah is my usual tech she's so detailed in every step which I appreciate. And Judy!! She does the best pedicures! I've also been to several others here and all of them are phenomenal! Definitely recommend!

I have been happy every time I have gone there. I've had different technicians each time, and they have done a great job, but the past few times I've had Chau do my nails, and I have been so happy every time. She is friendly and does exactly what you want for your nails. Sometimes I have her recommend something for me, and she's always spot on. I love the fact that the handicap parking is so close to the nail salon, so it doesn't take me long to walk there. They also always accommodate me so I don't have to walk very far.

Came in on a Monday around 2pm..called ahead and they told me to come right in! I was referred to get Bonnie/Dave. I got Bonnie for my pedicure and Jo for my manicure. Dave was off. Soooo good! I got the Coco Chanail Pedi and regular mani. From beginning to end- top tier. The owner, Lien was so sweet and offered me green tea and sweet grapes! They were sweet & delicious! I almost don't want to review so that I can keep this spot to myself. She has been here for 2 years..who knew! Prices are comparable to KNB down the street. I pay for quality and service. The nail techs keep their talking to a bare minimum. Very refreshing and provides for a very relaxing experience! I will be back! Thank me later :)

Dave and Jenny, the owners are amazing and provide top quality service. The give us relaxing and very aesthetically pleasing. Their staff is amazing and I can recommend them all Matt, Amber, Van, and Judy do wonderful nails and pedicures. This is a true nail soda and they don't skimp on the details. Absolutely incredible service and artistic techniques. Everyone takes pride in their art and it shows. I have been going to Dave now since 2016. I don't go anywhere else to get my nails done.

This place was recommended by a friend and I have been coming here since I moved to Morgan Hill. The staff are all super friendly and they seem to make work fun! They are always joking around and having a good time. Matt did my nails today and I LOVE them-the shape, the color, everything! And he was so gentle. I've felt very rushed at other salons, but Bonnie took her time and made the experience very relaxing. Has a ripped nail, so needed to get a fill ASAP. Decided to try this place out. My daughter got a full set and a pedi (the basic pedi) I got a fill and a pedi as well. I got two hearts painted on each hand, and my daughter got a cross charm on 2 nails. That's was $50.00 together, which in my opinion was a rip off. When I went to pay, our total was $303.00 (with no tip) To me, this is just insane! I've been all over town and never paid this much! I have been a long time customer of ChaNails, before me and my family moved out of state. I follow them on social media, so I knew they had moved locations and made some spectacular upgrades to the salon. We are in town this weekend, so of course I had to go check it out in person. Booked an appointment for myself (pedicure) and my 3 year old daughter (kids mani & pedi). Can I just say how amazing this place is?! I did the most expensive pedicure (The Golden Hour) because hey, I gotta get the best since I can't come in regularly anymore, right? So freaking luxurious...it really was the best pedicure experience I've ever had. The 20 minute massage was fantastic. Comes with a complimentary mimosa, beer or wine (for those who don't go with their 3 year old haha). Speaking of the kiddo, she was super happy with her "rainbow" mani/pedi (each finger/toe a different color). Honestly, I'm so jealous I can't enjoy this place every 2 weeks like before. I've been going to ChaNails for almost 2 years. They are hands down the best! My nails look amazing every time I leave. The techs are extremely knowledgeable about nails and what type (builder gel, acrylic, etc.) will work best for everyone. I have had lots of different nail art designs and each time they turn out looking great! I have several friends that have started coming here and really love it too. I've also never had issues with my nails lifting and the salon is very clean. I highly recommend ChaNails! read more

I never get my nails done but after the incredible experience my daughter and I had yesterday, we might be hooked and get them done more often! My friend recommended this place and I am so glad she did. We have a very big family wedding coming up and my 10-year old daughter and I decided to get our nails done for the occasion. I got a very simple gel manicure with a beautiful champagne glitter polish. I didn't catch my stylist's name but she was very professional and did a great job! I can't stop smiling at how pretty my nails are. My daughter had a very specific idea in mind for her nails and her stylist nailed it! She had the Gel X done to extend her fingernails and had a unique design with cute little flowers added on it to match her dress. It looked beautiful....admittedly I was a little jealous that her nails look fancier than mine! Great place! Clean, friendly people, loved it! The only person I recall the name of was Dave and that was because he was wearing a name tag but he is such a nice friendly guy! I was very impressed with how professional and just genuinely kind he is. He seems to be a very popular stylist as one lady came in wanting him to do her nails again. but he was booked up for a few days. I loved that he took the time to talk to me and my daughter and made our experience that much more memorable. Highly recommend and will be back! read more

ChaNails is located in a small plaza and offers a few plaza parking spots. I was easily able to make a couple appointments via Yelp messages and phone. All the techs are so nice, funny, and skilled here and they know their customers by name. It's such a welcoming and comfortable environment. I was very impressed by all the designs they are able to do as well. Came in originally for a regular pedicure and new acrylic nail set with gel polish. I got round for the acrylic nails but later changed my mind and wanted oval and a little shorter, so I made another appointment later. The techs took really good care of me. I'm so happy I found ChaNails! Can't wait until their 2nd shop opens. I would definitely recommend them and will be going back soon. read more

We specialize in custom designs, acrylic new sets and fills, gentle pedicures, gel manicures, waxing, dipping powders, and builder gels, hybrid gel (polygel), gelX. Formerly known as Star Nails, this store has been established for over decades and is very well known in Morgan Hill. We have recently remodeled and changed our name to CHANAILS Spa, focusing on sanitation and the latest products to better our customers’ experience.

Meet the Business Owner: Dave N.

Our main priority at CHANAILS Spa is to offer the latest trends in the industry while committing ourselves to the highest safety practices to protect our customers. All equipment are sterilized and sanitized before each service and treatment. We also use a new plastic pedicure disposable liner for every customer to prevent the spread of bacteria and contamination between clients. In addition, each client will receive their own set of file, buffer, and pumice for manicure and pedicure services.

She asked if there was anything else she could do to help me feel at ease and I replied, "your magic is already magic." Her massage table was gently heated beneath the sheets. She offered to increase the heat if I liked, which I agreed to. Helped so much with relaxing my muscles. Her technique is superb. She remembered that while I came in for "deep tissue" massage, I prefer light to medium pressure. Her hands can read where the aches and knots are, and I even become aware of them only at the moment she touches them! Warm. Velvet. Gentle. Firm. Forgiving. Home. That's what her massages feel like. I definitely deserve this. The vibe: thoughtfully themed with butterflies, which personally feels like I'm surrounded by my ancestors. The "tree of life" framed on the wall helps root me. I went back to the salon right now to ask for a refund because I figured instead of getting it fixed again that it might happen again since I am an extremely sporty person. I had to ask a total of 3 TIMES for a refund because the 3 people working there kept asking me what I wanted? They weren't listening to me and proceeded to ask if I wanted to get it fixed. I then took off my sock to show them the results of what had happened and they proceeded to say, "We can't give you a refund. That's YOUR fault." I am so disappointed by their attitudes, the way they spoke to me and how they just shrugged their shoulders. I will not be returning here after having this interaction.

May was very kind and advised that she could take me as a walk in. The service was prompt and smooth. I was pleased with her technique and the end result. The 15-minute candle oil massage, salt and oil scrub, warm towel wrap, and mineral-rich mud mask were exactly what we needed to unwind. We were both thoroughly relaxed and impressed by the entire process. To make the time fly even faster while my nails were drying, my husband also enjoyed a manicure. The staff truly went above and beyond when they found out we were celebrating nearly three decades of marriage. We were immediately offered our choice of mimosas or wine (red or white). We opted for the mimosas, and let's just say the refills flowed generously throughout our entire service! Our nail technicians, Mary and Lily, were absolute gems. Can't wait for summer to dive into the fun bright colors. Tommy does an amazing job with my pedi and he always makes me feel so relaxed. I don't have to worry about him cutting me or being aggressive. He does such a great job that if I close my eyes, I would probably fall asleep, lol.
