My service date was 6/16/26 2 concerns: - Toe is throbbing and inflamed after pedicure - owners and nail techs unprofessional behavior 1. Towards the end of my pedicure, I informed the nail tech Van my toe was hurting after she cut too deep into the ingrown nail attached to the skin. She says I was sensitive to acetone and then blamed me for asking her to file shorter. When I clarified that the pain was from where she cut or pulled at the nail attached to skin towards the root, her response was, "Well, you didn't tell me not to." Very inappropriate response. I'm here to relax, not micromanage. 2. Van and another nail tech made insulting remarks about me in Vietnamese not knowing I understood them. When I brought this concern to the business owner's husband, Cliff, he was kind, empathetic, and professional. Unfortunately, my issue was with the actual owner and how she handled my concern. When I brought it up to the owner, she totally dismissed my experience and said, "We don't do that here." I corrected her by letting her know she cannot speak on my experience since she wasn't even there. After dismissing my concerns, she made up excuses for her employees behavior and simply tapped me on the shoulder, smiled, said sorry, and walked away. 3. Her husband Cliff wanted to make things right with me by offering a discount. The owner was visibly upset when he did and made a comment of, "But she didn't ask for a discount, but you do what you want." It's extremely inappropriate and unprofessional of her as a business owner to do so right in front of me. That is something not to be discussed in front of a customer that's already upset. It showed a real lack of self-awareness and professionalism. How she reacted to the discount made her apology feel completely disingenuous. Waiting for a customer to have to ask the business to make things right instead of offering reflects poorly on the business. I'm upset at the owner's dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and the way she spoke about the discount in front of me. That's no way to handle a concern from an upset customer. My toe was throbbing and swollen many days after the service. Please reference the photo I have posted.

Bi was amazing! She recreated my inspo photo perfectly, and this is one of my favorite acrylic sets I've ever gotten. She was incredibly attentive to detail and made the nail shape and color exactly how I wanted them. She even found the perfect nude gel color to match my skin tone. I can't wait to go back for my next set! Overall, the nail salon was clean and organized, and they sat me down very quickly. They were also thoughtful to offer fruit and water as soon as I got there.

Absolutely love my nails and the service! This was my first time at ChaNails Spa and they definitely did not disappoint! Making an appointment: I called the day before (Friday) to see if I would be able to get an appointment for the next day (Saturday) as I wanted to get my nails done for my anniversary (Sunday), to which they said yes, they had an open slot at 1pm. Service: When I arrived, I was greeted warmly, was shown the list of nail colors I could choose from, and was sat down right after. I had sent a few photos of the nail inspiration I was interested in having done, then Jenny and another nail technician (unfortunately I didn't get his name but he was really sweet) made sure to go over the details with me and to double check the colors (which I greatly appreciated). Once we confirmed that I wanted to do Gel X and the final design, Jenny got straight to my nails and made sure that she took her time to perfect the details for the nails, which was super amazing to see. After 2 hours, I saw the final product and I was absolutely happy with them, they were exactly what I wanted and even hubby loved them! Initial thoughts: I'll be honest, I was a little nervous at first as I know that putting a design on nails can be tricky, especially when replicating another persons work. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the final product, and Jenny did an amazing job and exceeded all expectations! It is exactly like the photo and I couldn't be happier! Final thoughts: All I can say is that I am definitely coming back and if you want to get nail art done perfectly for a great price, this is honestly the place to go. The attention to detail, ability to connect with you, and the price was all worth it. Oh, and they were also running a pretty good promotion when I went, which was if you're a new client (meaning this was the first time getting your nails done with them), you'll get 20% off your first time, and I think they also have a reward system too which is pretty nice! So sorry for the paragraph but honestly, super happy with my nails, they honestly nail(ed) it! Thank you again Jenny and the ChaNails Spa team, I will definitely be back!

I've been going to Chanails exclusively for over a year now because I am so impressed with their service! I am SUPER picky and love intricate designs and Hannah ALWAYS delivers!! She checks in often during the process to make sure that I am happy and I love that! Everyone in the salon is amazing but Hannah is my girl!!! I encourage all the "nail baddies" to come to Chanails! You won't be disappointed!!!

This is the Best Nail Salon I have ever been to I always feel super relaxed and calm while I am here and after I leave. I love Van she does a great job on me feet and legs. I do not ever want to go to anyone else after coming here. Best Nail Salon in Morgan Hill! Everyone here is super sweet including the owner David! First time here - Booked with Matt for my halloween nails. I'm pretty happy with the results! He did great making sure he followed my inspo picture and took his time. This set was $120 though but glad they offered builder gel which makes my nails healthier and longer.

The only place to go for your nails, waxing and facials! The staff is amazing, gentle and friendly. Always do a fabulous job! I'm extremely happy with the detail and professionalism! The Salon is so well appointed and cleanliness is a priority! Perfect place to pamper yourself! You deserve it.

They are the absolute best! I always come in with some complicated design i find on social media and they never disappoint. Hannah is my usual tech she's so detailed in every step which I appreciate. And Judy!! She does the best pedicures! I've also been to several others here and all of them are phenomenal! Definitely recommend!

I have been happy every time I have gone there. I've had different technicians each time, and they have done a great job, but the past few times I've had Chau do my nails, and I have been so happy every time. She is friendly and does exactly what you want for your nails. Sometimes I have her recommend something for me, and she's always spot on. I love the fact that the handicap parking is so close to the nail salon, so it doesn't take me long to walk there. They also always accommodate me so I don't have to walk very far.

Came in on a Monday around 2pm..called ahead and they told me to come right in! I was referred to get Bonnie/Dave. I got Bonnie for my pedicure and Jo for my manicure. Dave was off. Soooo good! I got the Coco Chanail Pedi and regular mani. From beginning to end- top tier. The owner, Lien was so sweet and offered me green tea and sweet grapes! They were sweet & delicious! I almost don't want to review so that I can keep this spot to myself. She has been here for 2 years..who knew! Prices are comparable to KNB down the street. I pay for quality and service. The nail techs keep their talking to a bare minimum. Very refreshing and provides for a very relaxing experience! I will be back! Thank me later :)

Dave and Jenny, the owners are amazing and provide top quality service. The give us relaxing and very aesthetically pleasing. Their staff is amazing and I can recommend them all Matt, Amber, Van, and Judy do wonderful nails and pedicures. This is a true nail soda and they don't skimp on the details. Absolutely incredible service and artistic techniques. Everyone takes pride in their art and it shows. I have been going to Dave now since 2016. I don't go anywhere else to get my nails done.

Started going to ChaNails right before Thanksgiving on a friend's recommendation. My daughter and I were treated wonderfully and we were both happy. Unfortunately, the gel on my fingernails did not want to stay adhered. I called and went back to have them redone. They were so warm, welcoming and willing to make it right. This time it was even worse - the gel polish started peeling the next day. I called again and went in the next day. This is where I found that it is a new owner, and she was even nicer and determined to figure out the best gel for my nails. Lien did a great job and it's been weeks without any peeling. (I had a small accident and chipped off half my nail the next day and they took me right in to fix it. This was all my fault but they took care of me without hesitation). I couldn't be happier with their service and treatment. I will keep going back!! read more

I loved it. They took the time to do my nails and they looked beautiful. They didn't rush through it to take walk-ins. I hate places who take everyone and anyone because you can be assured your nails will be done in a rushed manner and will look like they rushed it. This place is beautiful clean, the staff is professional and nice. Definitely Upscale AND relaxing! I felt like I treated myself. The salon is always clean, welcoming, and has a relaxing atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a treat. I'm very picky and visited many salons in Morgan Hill before finding my place! First off let me say all the staff and Chanails are above and beyond and so welcoming. Dave is always there to kindly greet you and make you feel welcomed. And secondly Matt did and outstanding job on my Christmas nails, he was able to pull off these nails with 2 inspo pictures and somehow made them look 10x better. It's always an amazing set when it comes to Matt. And of course cannot forget about Van she takes such great care of her clients and always have their best interest in mind. Probably one of the best sets I've gotten she got us in pretty late and still took her time with our nails and my mom and I loved them (mom got the same thing except added a silver glitter edge) and I'd come back if it wasn't so expensive ): 150 for both of ours which is the most I've paid. read more

My second visit to ChaNails, the level of service is amazing. All the staff are so welcoming and proficient at the services they offer. This place is my new favorite place in Morgan Hill! I came here and got a pedicure and full set by Matt! I wish I could remember the lovely lady who did my pedicure; I want to say that her name is Amy! So the first time I came here they were having a sale and I took advantage of it and I've been hooked ever since! Their establishment is very clean, updated, and modern! The whole staff is super friendly and fun and outgoing! The second time I came here I showed Matt some inspiration and I just let him have fun with it! And he exceeded my expectations! My second appointment (my fill) lasted about 45 minutes after they close and they didn't make me feel rushed or anything of that nature! I also didn't get a fill until about three weeks after my full set and there was barely any lifting or breakage; at three weeks my nails were still looking pretty good! As long as I live in Morgan Hill, I don't see myself going anywhere else! read more

Established in 2000.

Formerly known as Star Nails, this store has been established for over decades and is very well known in Morgan Hill. We have recently remodeled and changed our name to CHANAILS Spa, focusing on sanitation and the latest products to better our customers’ experience.

Meet the Business Owner: Dave N.

Our main priority at CHANAILS Spa is to offer the latest trends in the industry while committing ourselves to the highest safety practices to protect our customers. All equipment are sterilized and sanitized before each service and treatment. We also use a new plastic pedicure disposable liner for every customer to prevent the spread of bacteria and contamination between clients. In addition, each client will receive their own set of file, buffer, and pumice for manicure and pedicure services.

I went back to the salon right now to ask for a refund because I figured instead of getting it fixed again that it might happen again since I am an extremely sporty person. I had to ask a total of 3 TIMES for a refund because the 3 people working there kept asking me what I wanted? They weren't listening to me and proceeded to ask if I wanted to get it fixed. I then took off my sock to show them the results of what had happened and they proceeded to say, "We can't give you a refund. That's YOUR fault." I am so disappointed by their attitudes, the way they spoke to me and how they just shrugged their shoulders. I will not be returning here after having this interaction.

They're very good at scheduling you in; I called to make a same day appointment and I was booked for an appointment in the next hour. The girls there are also very friendly, gentle, and take great care of you. I had a hot gel set done in Taiwan a month ago and needed a gel removal with a new gel set. They're very efficient, as they can do your mani as you're enjoying a nice pedi soak and massage. I tried the chrome look this time and am in love!! Very sleek, clean, and modern interior. Def recommending my friends!

I never cut only file, I wasn't offered colors until my toes were about to be painted was so busy digging out skin and ingrown I left in pain kept pulling my toes away in pain. didn't even get polish on my toes as they were cut way to short severally crooked massage was rough I clenched my pillow almost the whole time as it was painful, I left spending $50 with no polish, crooked overall short toenails upset and in pain. I've given many chances to this place and I just can't anymore I am genuinely in pain after that

Came in with some tore up claws and she did a awesome job cleaning, cutting and polishing my nails. Went with the color Adobe for the winter season and its very toned down. Can't wait for summer to dive into the fun bright colors. Tommy does an amazing job with my pedi and he always makes me feel so relaxed. I don't have to worry about him cutting me or being aggressive. He does such a great job that if I close my eyes, I would probably fall asleep, lol. And Tommy is the best pedicure technician I have found in over 15 years that I've been getting pedicures done. Keep up the amazing work.

The pressure was on and it was felt. Everyone was busy. I'm not too picky with lines of manicure but I do require cleanliness, I'm not sure if they pass that test as today I had to ask Kim if her file was new as it looked scuffed and used. She didn't hesitant to change it for me. A lady nearby had her own manicure tools kit, which she asked them to use. I'm gonna jump on Amazon and get my own to use moving forward. I don't trust it nor do I want to chance it, besides it's a great idea to have your own tools to eliminate the unknown.
