I wish I could remember the lovely lady who did my pedicure; I want to say that her name is Amy! So the first time I came here they were having a sale and I took advantage of it and I've been hooked ever since! Their establishment is very clean, updated, and modern! The whole staff is super friendly and fun and outgoing! The second time I came here I showed Matt some inspiration and I just let him have fun with it! And he exceeded my expectations! My second appointment (my fill) lasted about 45 minutes after they close and they didn't make me feel rushed or anything of that nature! I also didn't get a fill until about three weeks after my full set and there was barely any lifting or breakage; at three weeks my nails were still looking pretty good! I was very dissatisfied. My cuticles kept getting cut. It seemed that she wasn't mindful about cutting my skin. I got into my car. I looked at my cuticles and it was bleeding. I get home. The owner calls me because on top of that they forgot to charge me for everything. So just felt like my service wasn't up to par. I left unsatisfied with my nails since i didn't want her to nick me anymore since it was getting painful. I didn't get the design I wanted since I was fed up and there for 3 hours at this point. I'm not the girliest but I sure love my nails done, I've had horrible luck in the past trying to find a nail tech but I decided to give ChaNails a try here is how my experience went. Location: amazing just a few minutes away from me, spacious parking, the place was clean, quiet & welcoming. Walk-in: I didn't have an appointment but was greeted kindly & quickly as I walked in. Wait was not more than 10mins. Service: Ally was my nail tech, she was quiet but kind and did not feel rushed at all, she took her time on my design which I loved. I initially wanted a matte finish with spooky designs, I didn't wanna just show a picture and ask to replicate so I showed a couple as reference of anything similar to the photos & I picked the color. Ally did offer to do my nails as the photo or she could come up with something, I was very excited to see what she came up with and I was not disappointed, it was not the matte finish I initially went for but after seeing the progress I absolutely loved the results & I have received many compliments on my nails. For sure what made my experience the greatest was not feeling rushed, and how perfect my nails came out. If i could give this place 0 stars i would. I went to this nail salon last week and the staff was so rude. On the website I booked my appointment to get an essential manicure and when i got there a lady started getting a pedicure bowl ready. When i told her that wasn't what i booked she seemed annoyed and told me where to go sit for my manicure. I had builder gel on my nails from my last appointment there and didn't know it had to be taken off a different way than the way regular gel gets taken off. When the lady finally asked me if the polish was builder gel i said yes and apologized for not speaking up sooner about it however i did not know i had to say something in order for them to take it off properly. She shrugged and seemed annoyed and started taking off my polish in an aggressive way with the tool. She then proceeded to start talking in another language with others and they began laughing which made me feel uncomfortable because i wasn't sure if they had been talking about me. The lady gets up to get my color and slams her station chair into its place when she gets up. I proceeded to tell her Nevermind i didn't want to finish my appointment and would just pay for the service she had done of taking off my nail polish. I just moved to the area and was hoping this would be a welcoming place i could go to consistently but i will never be going here again! read more
