Gilbert Regional Park is near my house and it's a great spot to workout, play, or relax…read more It features many sport courts- pickleball, tennis, volleyball and basketball. While there's a lot of pickleball courts, I've seen them full with a queue to play. I haven't seen this with the tennis courts or other sport courts. There's a playground with a play structure, swings, slides, a zip-line and more. It's on a hill so there's multiple levels to play on. There's a large splash pad for older children and a separate area for younger children, so less likely your toddler gets run over by a pre-teen not paying attention. The one drawback is there's not a lot of shady places to hide from the blistering summer sun. There's a large grass field but it's sloped and thus not useful for playing flag football or soccer. I believe it's built that way to watch performances at the pavilion. If there are flat grass fields at this park, I have yet to find them; they would be a welcome addition. At the end of the park there's a lake with a walking path around it. The largest ramada is on the lakefront and looks to 100-150 people. They have smaller ramadas around to rent as well. Overall, Gilbert Regional Park is a nice clean new park with many amenities. Everything is still in good working condition and there's a lot of open space where everyone isn't concentrated into a small area.

But its a nice playground. Has parking on both sides. Has restrooms. Baseball field, skatepark, basketball court. Plenty of ramadas and tables and benches. The playground has cool features on the ground for littles, but the big playground is hard to get up and down since one way up and its a weird ramp thing and the play structure is narrow for so many kids. There are 2 dog parks next to the playground. The splash pad is where its at though- so nice!!!! All gated it and enclosed- lots of seating in shade and also grass areas! So I would come back for the splash pad for sure!!! There is also a cool you and baby swing here too.

No matter how many birthdays are going on here, there is plenty of great space in the parking lot for parking. They have a splash pad, and that's where I've primarily gone when I'm here. It's always very clean. They have about 6 different sections of areas where the water trickles or sprays out at you and it rotates around. Bathrooms are conveniently located next to it. There is also a playground alongside of it, so if you are a parent with kids that want to play in the water or playground, you can actually stand in between and keep a good eye on both areas. Swingsets are nearby and what I love most is that they have an adaptable swing set that includes a swing for children with special needs. There is a 3-point plastic harness that locks in, and a large bucket seat to accommodate them. There are 3 ramadas there with roughly 3 large tables in each. Perfect for parties or if you are a parent that likes to sit in the shade and watch your child at play--it's a great shaded area with a close distance to the playground and splash pad. There is a decent-sized skate park by the parking lot and a ball field. Great neighborhood park for anyone and a lot more intimate and quiet than most. Always a fun spot!

The park has multiple play features, including multiple water fountains, a water tower, and a spraying tunnel. There is also a large playground with swings right next to it. Not as many imaginative water features as Desert Breeze Park or Tempe Town Lake's spray pads, but if your nearby on a hot day, it's worth a visit. Note for all you extreme sports enthusiasts: Espee Park will also host the location of Chandler's new BMX park.

We came to Aspire Kids from another gym because my son didn't like that there were no other boys in his classes. My son started in the Mighty Mites program at age 5, and after a year moved into competitive gymnastics. He has competed for 3 years now with the Junior SunDevils, and we couldn't be more pleased with his training and coaches. During COVID lockdowns, we were offered free Zoom training, and we were able to schedule virtual private lessons for my son to continue to progress. Switching to training in the day group this past year has improved my son's training and competition experience and outcome even more. The one aspect I have enjoyed as a parent with Jr SunDevils is the rapport and support among athletes and families. I have heard of a lot of drama in other sports or gyms, and not having to deal with that has been great. Parent support is great, and I have enjoyed getting to know other team families. I'm a big fan of Aspire Kids, and the boys' team. I can't speak for the girls' program or others, but we spend a lot of hours there, and my kid is happy to be there. I'm grateful to be a part of Aspire Kids Sports!

It seems like every 30 minutes they have everybody move out of the pool. Thanks threaten to call Cody and think somebody would pay for me on the atmosphere with my house but do you go to work that isn't an uncomfortable top steel. Bad customer service stressful atmosphere twice the price of other public pools. And the water was pretty much grayish.

He wanted to come for free swim on Saturday to practice his swimming and use the diving boards more. The pool is ok with a small water slide, diving board, and small kid splash area. The pricing isn't bad for him, but for me to go in and sit, it's twice the price of him. I only had enough for him to go in so I had to stand outside the fence to keep an eye on him. Non swimmers should not pay to sit on the bleachers. Otherwise this place is ok for the kids to have out an hour or 2 in the summer.
