Very nice atmosphere inside the restaurant. Seating in the booths are semi-secluded and give a very private and more intimate feel. Food is very well made; great value for the price. The Naruto Kaba roll - very light - very refreshing. Really enjoyed my dinner here.

Need to update your hours to "closing at 8:30pm" not 9pm! Website and Yelp list closing at 9. Got there at 8:33 and was told the kitchen was closed. Lots of people still in the place still eating. I get it... staff wants to go home, but I drove a ways to get there and was really let down they wouldn't at least offer something quick or limited menu. Especially since they were "still open" and it was only 3 mins after 8:30.

    Sushi Burger was very good!

Stayed across the street while traveling on business and decided to get some Chinese food before getting back to a long night of work. I looked on Yelp and saw that there was a place right across the street that looked OK, so I went for it. I had no idea these guys had sushi when I went in, and it just so happened I was hankering. The bartender told me they had a special new item called a "Sushi Burger" which consisted of chopped sushi tuna in a "patty" on a "bun" made out of sushi rice with seaweed salad and yum yum sauce. Sounded strange, so as usual I got it. I also got the Miso soup and a spicy salmon roll. The Miso was good and the Sushi Burger was tasty and also very reasonably priced for how big it was! I really dug their sushi rice and while I don't have seaweed salad enough to know for sure, it seemed fresh and gave the burger a nice crunch. Their yum yum sauce was super good and really kicked off the other high quality ingredients just right. The Tuna also tasted very fresh. But the star here for me was the humble Spicy Salmon roll: the roll was your standard size or just slightly bigger, and it was nothing but rice, wrapper, a dollop of spicy sauce, and oh yeah - a giant piece of super firm, super fresh, super delicious salmon. I was really surprised when I first bit in at how fresh it was, and how much they gave me. I mean, this is Wausau for goodness sake! It really stole the show from the Sushi Burger, where the tuna was chopped and therefore just couldn't compete. During my meal, every employee in the area asked me about the sushi burger because it was a new thing for them and I was apparently their guinea pig. I had pleasant, sushi-related conversations with the bartender, the manager, a server, and the Sushi chef himself. It wasn't a perfect day for an example because I was early for dinner on a Wednesday, so there wasn't too much else for everyone to do but make me feel welcome. That said, I would give high marks for service as well, at least in off-peak times. Great sushi in Weston. Who knew? If I'm ever back in town, I'm going to beeline straight here. You should too!

Awesome sushi. It's always such a treat to get good sushi in this area. Really nice private booths too.

I hate posting a negative reviews of a small local business, but we were disappointed. No we aren't looking for discounts free food etc or anything. In fact I hope it was just a bad day for them. We ordered: General Tsos chicken Orange chicken Pot stickers and spring rolls. 45$ is pricey for 2 mains and 2 apps but my husband figured they might be good. Sometimes the food is worth the $. The General Tsos chicken had no flavour really beyond over cooked soy. No spice either. The orange chicken tasted borderline exactly like the General Tsos chicken. Lots of soy. The barest hint of orange and no spice. My spring rolls had an overpowering cooking oil flavour and the pot stickers had no water chestnuts, no ginger, no scallions or garlic. Just ground meat. I am giving the restaurant a maybe on reccomendations because perhaps the chef was off...maybe it was just a bad day. I hope they continue serving their loyal clients but sadly we will take a pass on ordering from here again. It's just too expensive to test drive a 2nd time for us.

The broth was delicious even before adding anything. They are generous with the meat and noodles. And, the price was more than fair. We also had the papaya which was delicious!!! I wish I could go back but I live out of state. The service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. We sat at a booth that allowed us to look out at a beautiful tree across the street. It was a truly authentic and delicious Hmong meal. I'll definitely go back every time I'm in Wausau.

You can eat way more different items than just pho here. They have everything from laab to Hmong sausage with sticky rice and of course, egg rolls. Ok, food is pretty average however their menu is extensive. The food tastes so, SO much better than the Hmong delis in the same area. Their pepper dip is delicious. Great location; right on South 3rd Avenue where I grew up as a kid. Private parking. The establishment was an old supper club back in my day. Nostalgic. The ambience need some work. Everything is dated and dark. Like a grandparents basement. I was bothered with the group sitting next us. One guy spoke as if his buddies were standing a half block away. Our server was quick on his feet and helpful with the menu. He answered questions promptly and gave us a heads up if an item would be delayed in preparing. So helpful. We didn't have to wait long to get our food. Shorter time than at the local Hmong deli, I can promise you that and the restaurant was half full. Would, and have, returned.
