Nice comfortable restaurant with satisfying simple dishes. Service is quick simple and it's a Chinese speaking establishment. 5/5 Chinese Savory Crepe (off menu) 8.99 (aka YuanWei JianBing GuoZi): street food style crepe made of egg with crisps inside. Delicious chili spread that is savory and subtly sweet. Good even without add-ons. Crispy Chinese Burger also classic 5/5, meat is well cooked and tender.

excited that Changan Kitchen (印象長安) just opened their second location in Chino Hills -- even better, it's on the north side, closer to 60 fwy The menu is a little different from the original spot, but everything is just as fresh and flavorful as always. I love how they keep it traditional with a creative twist -- perfect for both classic Xi'an dishes lovers and adventurous eaters. Some of my faves this time: Wagyu Crispy Burger 和牛肉夾饃 - juicy, crispy, super satisfying Beef & Cheese Potstickers 芝士牛肉鍋貼 - comfort food with a cheesy kick Beef Pancake Roll 牛肉卷餅 - flaky, savory, packed with flavor Definitely one of my go-to spots for northern Chinese flavors with a modern edge Can't wait to come back again (and again)! Great food! And the service was excellent too. We ordered Wonton HK style and the broth was excellent. Make sure to try hand noodles too.

Really enjoyed most of the foods we ordered here. The lamb dumplings were super umami and the wagyu beef burger flaky and a good meat to pastry ratio. The food came out fast and hot, and I love that there's so much parking out front. The noodles weren't too salty. My only qualm is that it should have been noted the wontons came in a shrimp based soup (I'm allergic) so a heads up would have been helpful and the cold noodles could have come with some green onions or cilantro to cut through the greasiness of the noodles.

decided to come here for lunch! it was empty but the staff was all very nice and prompt. the interior was nice and the tables were clean their biang noodles are delicious. i still think about them to this day! the noodles texture is bouncy and the sauce is flavorful. the beef roll was filled nicely with meat. dumplings were also fresh and very hot! would love to come here again!

Let me introduce you to my newest neighborhood gem where it tastes like a Chinese grandma made the food just for you. Think hidden gem, no frills, super casual, but already so well loved. We were recommended to try their famous pancake crepe and my eyes lit up when I saw you can do a duck filling, and it did not disappoint. It's savory with the hoisin sauce and has a surprising crunchy element to it, the texture is INSANE and it all works so well together. Here are my other favorites: Beef potstickers, Shrimp and pork steamed dumplings--they have a whole separate menu just for dumplings--thiccc, chewy hand-pulled noodles that you can do a dry version with a numbing spicy sauce, or in beef broth with the most TENDER beef. Thanks for reading! ^-^

New spot in Chino Hills serving Chinese-style crêpes stuffed with roasted duck + cucumbers Not your usual French crêpe, this one is packed with flavor! The server paired mine with cold soy milk Perfect place to go with friends/family and share dishes. The Biang Biang noodles were the best I've had with perfect texture + sauce The beef noodle soup had a rich broth, and the dumplings tied the meal together beautifully.

This place is a new Chinese restaurant in Chino Hills. They have a lot of Xi'an food (dumplings, potstickers, hand-pulled noodles). The food is very homey and my Chinese friend said it's like what her mom cooks. The potstickers are my favorite. The soup dumpling was good too. Nothing was spicy to me, although some dishes look somewhat spicy. It's on the Pipeline Ave side of the plaza near Holy Cow. Apple map wasn't very accurate when I went.

The environment of the restaurant is clean, but the food was a letdown. There aren't many options on the menu. The beef noodles were bland and lacked any real flavor. The dry noodles were just average; they didn't come with any meat, yet were priced almost the same as the meat options, which doesn't feel fair. Also, the meat used in the noodles seemed to be the same as what was inside the pork/beef buns, processed and not authentic. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. The food doesn't feel genuine or thoughtfully prepared.

Smaller menu. Cafe style quick grab. Service was fast since we were early for opening lunch hour.

Fast service, very yummy food, and cravings always satisfied. Already excited to come back, and I've been to this location and the other location multiple times already. Highly recommend hand-ripped noodles with stewed pork! My favorite and always yummy. Also Liang Pi for hot days, with black vinegar to taste!

Cold Noodles, Potstickers, and wonton soup

All around good quality food. I recommend getting their Crispy Chinese Burger and the Potstickers, super crispy. Staff was friendly and attentive! Vibes felt traditional and like a family member's home.

Overpriced Chinese dumplings. It's 106 degrees outside and they have the thermostat set at 82. Service was slow. It's not a friendly place.

I grew up eating Hong Kong style dim sum so I am very picky with my dim sum. We were greeted by a very friendly lady who sat us at a table. There are about 10 tables inside to sit and eat there. You can also order for pickup. The restroom and restaurant is kept very clean. You order by scanning the QR code. They do have a good selection to choose from. We got the usual items like shumai (pork dumplings), har gar (shrimp dumplings), pork spareribs, chicken sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves, bbq pork buns, egg tarts, and I had to try the beef stew rice noodle soup. The server was very attentive to us while she took care of 4 other tables on her own. You do have to pay at store and not on the app when you're ready to checkout. The food came out fast and it tasted fresh. Portion size of the items are great. The bbq pork bun dough was a bit mushy to me. I like when the bun is fluffy and soft. The egg tart was perfect and not overcooked. The shumai and har gar was delicious and huge. The chicken sticky rice was very yummy . The spareribs were a bit fatty but had great flavor. The beef stew rice noodle soup was not my favorite. The beef stew was tender but it lacked flavor and the soup needed more flavor. Overall, we are happy we found a dim sum place that isn't too far from home and we don't have to drive down to OC or LA to eat. We will definitely come back if we have cravings for dim sum.

They have since expanded to San Gabriel, Chino Hills, Monrovia. Chino Hills location is the newer one with modern decor, clean and seems to offer more items. It offers plenty of seats. Service is friendly, but they are very shorthanded. The kitchen and counter will have to help clean up. It's around 9am, I ordered iced soy milk which is premade, you just grab from refrigerator. It tastes good, but fairly standard. I think hot is the way to go for fresh ones. And for breakfast I picked salty rice ball with pickled vegetable; for $7.50 this is more traditional type. And more expensive. It's wrapped with soft and warm glutinous rice, crispy chinese donuts, pork floss, preserved mustard greens(extra cost), preserved radish. Taste is more savory. They offer and push for purple rice type, I will try it next time. My suggestions are to install order kiosks at all locations. And have help with cleanup and other tasks of location is busy. I didn't have picture of inside with tables as the tables are still not clean yet except for my tiny table.

I got it with the purple rice for a slightly healthier alternative than the standard white rice. The purple rice is 50 cents more, but definitely worth it. The roll itself came with the Chinese Doughnut, Pork Rousung, or dry shredded pork, and the pickled vegetables. The roll was totally delicious and was a great snack to carry around. The regular roll is $6.75 before tax. They have a lot of frozen and refrigerated items, that includes frozen dumplings and chilled soy milk. They also have a lunch menu here of different Taiwanese-style soups and rice plates. Will have to try it next time. They accept cards here with a $20 minimum purchase, or just bring cash. Plenty of parking outside.
